I don't like gel on my nails because it peels off, Normally if I paint my own nails- regular polish- they last almost 2 weeks. Rushed mani and pedi. Mani had No lotion, just Polish and cuticles which I could do myself. Very disappointing and poor experience.

Jade always does an outstanding job. She used hot gel/builder gel and cateye polish #23 for this amazing manicure. I don't get the traditional line on the cateye so the polish goes from light to dark depending on how the light hits it. So fun! read more

Thank you Ming for my pedi pampering :) I found this nail salon by accident, as we have frequented the acai bowl place next door. They are very busy and I'm happy that they get a lot of customers. Sometimes I go on a whim and my wait time is not bad without an appointment. Several times I've been here for pedis with an appointment and they are consistently timely. I appreciate that this salon is clean and the tools they use have been sanitized prior to use. I also appreciate the excellent massage chair while I'm getting the relaxing pedi. They have always been very gentle on my toes when trimming the cuticles. Once, when I was not careful leaving the salon and getting into my car, I accidentally smudged the fresh paint on my toe. I went back in and they graciously redid that toe nail polish without charging me :) Based on my observation, business is good and it appears that their "regular" customers are happy with the nail service they provide. I went to have a full set of nails done. I asked for short square nails and even pulled up a picture as to what I was wanting. The tips that were applied were the longest I have ever seen and a c shape! I asked 3 times to have them made shorter and told them that I like really short nails. Needless to say I left with nails that were so long that I couldn't even do a thing with them. I shouldn't have to ask multiple times to have my nails short and still leave with beyond long nails!!! They charged me $70 and it was ridiculous! Needless to say I will not be going back! Please listen to your customer!!!! read more

I had a perfect experience with Alex. He took off my existing set and gave me a perfect square square set. He removed my nails with ease and no pain. He is detailed and fast. I love my set! Go see ALEX! I've been going to him 4+ years and he is by far the best nail tech I've ever been to. He's incredibly talented, a perfectionist with his work, and extremely meticulous! The service was extremely lacking. I had an appointment at 4:30 for 2, and we waited around 20 minutes after that to get seated. It started off ok but then only one tech was helping one of us and 15 minutes later I was finally helped. Then once we were being helped, we BOTH got nicked and bled. My tech was rough, and I had to say "that hurts" to get her to be more gentle more than once. Overall, I don't think I'll come back. No one offered us water or anything either. They were down one tech from what I gathered, but still. I'd go to Princess Nails in Sandy instead. That said, it was a nice job. read more

Well, several steps in the deluxe pedicure were missed and forgotten, rush through the massage by the time the manicure came the nail polish was so bumpy. I finally said something which I never do, and just asked if I could just leave with no nail polish. They made me wait an additional 30 minutes I never got a massage. And after being there, almost 2 hours on a Sunday as someone finally came up to check me out once I got up she kindly offered me to discount five dollars for the forgotten massage nevertheless all the other stuff poorly done or missed. I am not picky and usually very patient but paying money for a service that is supposed to feel relaxing and feeling like you're being strung along the whole time and have to pay for it is disappointing. It was my first time here trying someplace open on a Sunday. Take my word for it don't do it. SAVE YOUR MONEY go to another salon read more

My first time in to this salon. I went in to have my nails filled. I told them what i wanted in gel nails that I wanted them built up. The language barrier was a problem. What they did was two coats of gel and then painted french tip. It was painful to watch the guy do these. He didn't seem like he was quite sure of the whole process. I was in there for 90 min. I was going to have a nail design, but told him never mind that I didn't have time. One week later I had 3 nails break and the gel was peeling. I paid 66.00. I had to go to another nail salon and paid another $70 plus to have them done the right way. I'm sure that they have some other nail tecs. that are good, but my experience was not a good one. read more

This was the most horrible experience I have ever had getting my nails done. This was the first time I have been here and I am never going back. I had a pedicure, well what was supposed to be a pedicure. I could have had my kid do it and It would have looked better. They tried to fix it but after two hours it still looked awful. The lady fixing my toes was nice and told me I didn't need to pay . My mom came along as well and she had them spend a total of ten minutes on her toes and feet. After being told we did not need to pay we left and went next door to get a drink from Starbucks. As we walked out one of the male staff came over and took a picture of my license plate I got out, asked Him what he was doing. After trying to communicate without resolution my mother went inside. I've gone to quite a few nail salons over the years, and I never really found a nail salon or tech that I liked. I'm pretty basic when it comes to getting my nails done, smedium length acrylics, typically almond or coffin shaped, solid colors. And basic pedicures. So I don't really ask for anything crazy, but one thing I've had to be really careful ab, especially within the last three years since COVID, is cleanliness and hygiene when it comes to getting my nails done. After getting sick rly badly in 2020, I became SUPER sensitive to literally everything, started developing allergies to things I never had issues with before. One of those being that when I get my nails done, my cuticle area used to get super red, inflamed, and crazy itchy/bumpy for 3ish days. But ever since I found May at Galaxy Nails, I haven't had that issue. She does such an amazing job, the customer service is great, everyone's so nice, and they make sure we get what we want when it comes to our nails. Pricing is super reasonable, and they're quick too! Been seeing May at Galaxy nails for ab 2.5months now and I don't plan on switching anytime soon! Would totally recommend to anyone in the area! read more

My daughters and I went on Sunday to get a pedicure, Galaxy is so clean and they are so friendly, our pedi's were great as well. A week later some of my polish started to come off, when I called and talked to Jen she was so professional and willing to fix it. When I came in the following Sunday to get it fixed they were busy , but still so friendly, I told them I can come back on Monday not a problem, they said if I can wait they would get me taken care of. I said not a problem for me to come back tomorrow. When I went in today everyone working said hi and they made it worth my while for coming back today.
