We held a party at Urban Air Gainesville on their opening day, and while the experience started off…read morewith a lot of frustration, I want to commend the way it ended Thanks to the owner, Dante. Leading up to the party, communication was very poor. Despite having placed a deposit well in advance and receiving confirmation that the party would be held on opening day, we didn't hear anything back until the day before. This is far too late for anyone trying to organize a special celebration. One of the representatives even turned off her phone when asked to confirm basic things she had previously promised, like goodie bags. In the end, we were told they wouldn't be provided. On the day of the event, there were several missteps: food we brought for kids with allergies was taken to the kitchen to be warmed and never came back. Decorations weren't done as expected either. It felt like everything was going wrong. However, Dante, the owner, truly stepped up. He found goodie bags at the last minute, offered free allergen free pizzas to make up for the missing food, and even comped mini melts for the kids. He was present, responsive, and genuinely did everything he could to turn a chaotic situation into a fun and positive one. Thanks to his efforts, the kids had a great time, & we were so happy, and in the end, that's what mattered most. I'm hopeful that with time and experience, the Gainesville location will work through its growing pains. Dante's commitment to customer satisfaction gives me confidence that they will. Thanks Dante!

This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I've ever had--not just locally,…read morebut anywhere I've traveled in the U.S. or abroad. We chose Urban Air based on the activities and attractions that were advertised. Unfortunately, many of those attractions were unavailable during our visit. When I asked why, the manager explained that they were "short staffed" and that this was directed by corporate. Had this been communicated before we paid, we would have made a different decision. What made the experience especially disappointing was that we paid for services and attractions that were not actually available. We spent much of our visit standing in long lines or waiting, only to discover that attractions were closed or not operating. Members of our party became exhausted from the repeated delays, and the overall experience was frustrating from beginning to end. The problems didn't stop there. From check-in onward, nearly every interaction was disorganized, and several staff members were dismissive and unhelpful when we tried to address the issues. We repeatedly gave the staff opportunities to correct the situation, but each opportunity was met with another disappointment. The most upsetting part is that this was supposed to be a special day with my daughter. Instead, it became an experience neither of us will forget--for all the wrong reasons. My advice to other families is simple: before purchasing tickets or booking an event, ask specifically which attractions are operating that day and whether any are closed due to staffing--better yet, find someplace else. I wish we had been given that information before paying.

Decided to use some of that adult money to be a kid for a while. I had fun, it's a fun place,…read moreclean, orderly, nice people, BUT the big drawback is the PRICES. They are ridiculous ridiculously excessive. Video games should not cost $1.25 a pop, it should be a quarter or $.50. Go karts should not be $10. Mini golf should not be $10. That's just ridiculous. Also what sucked about a lot of of the games is that, let's say it's a racing game, and you came in first place, your game is over. You don't even get to play anymore. You have to PAY more. Takes all of the fun out of it when you're constantly having to pay. I DID have fun, and I enjoyed myself quite a bit, but the price is really excessive. Probably won't ever go back unless it's with a group of friends and we just feel like blowing a lot of money. I feel terrible for parents because a couple of kids could easily burn through $50 in a couple of hours here.

Pretty disappointing experience at Fun Land in Fredericksburg. For what you pay, I expected a lot…read morebetter. The customer service was pretty nonchalant, especially considering how busy it was. Half the attractions seemed to be out of service, several of the go-karts kept cutting off during the ride, and the place was honestly really dirty. I get that things break and places get busy, but when you add all of that together, it's hard to feel like you're getting your money's worth. Definitely expected a better experience for a family day out.

What a great experience. This was my first time zip lining and Riley and Preston were professional,…read moreengaging, upbeat, and thorough. We went ziplining during their moonlight 9pm tour and it was a great adventure. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident and empowered when transitioning to each zip line or bridge. It even rained during our night tour and they remained professional and kept everyone's spirts up. We also heard a bear roar during our tour which was a bit scary, but also cool at the same time. It did help with the fear that we were several feet off the ground. We were provided with gear, glow lights for our helmets and the hands on training exercises before we embarked were priceless. Everyone wore their masks and it was a nice outing to experience durning COVID-19. Heads up this activity is hosted by a third party on the Salamander resort (which is a beautiful property) but is pretty deep in the woods.

My wife's sister got us two tickets to this as a Christmas present. We took off for a day in June…read more2022 and did the Treetop Zip Line adventure. We were on time and got carted to the course but they were expecting three people to join us. As it turns out, those three people thought they had signed up for a different time so my wife and I got to do this with just us and our two guides. Our guides were Tim N. and Gwen. We had done a Zip Line adventure with our kids in Williamsburg but this was completely different than that. After a very brief training and test on how to stop yourself on the zip line, we headed for the course. In total, there were five zip lines on the course and the guides gave us some history and fun facts between each zip line. After going down the first two, I was very confident in my braking and making sure I got to the platform at the end. My wife had some issues braking throughout all five zip lines. Since there were only two of us doing the adventure, the owner said we could go through the course again. Our guides said this does not normally happen. I was excited to go through the course a second time and my wife got way more comfortable braking during this second trip through. Our guides were friendly and very helpful. They had to pull my wife in a couple of times and they were great at walking her through it and were very patient. Based on this experience, we will definitely come back when the kids are old enough to join us.
