This place is a hidden amusement park that isn't truly advertised enough in the Moco area but my kids have been here before because of summer camp. Today is Sunday and the amount of people was a decent portion of people. We attended a company event where they catered food/alcoholic beverages and Ice cream. We sat in the picnic area to eat and the food was pretty good. The pulled pork and chicken was good! We came in at 1:30pm and there wasn't a long line for the rides. (I wish we took advantage of that but we started riding around 3:30pm and the lines became a 25 min wait for the roller coasters and mini karts. The inside arcade area reminds me of Dave and busters. They have a fun pass but you cannot redeem tickets it's only for the games. The selection of games inside was ok. Once we went around a few times the kids wanted to go back outside to do something else. That is pretty cool you have the option to do both. They have the bumper carts inside and that was fun. Some rides did not have a staff member to assist which was kind of weird, but when we walked away from the slide the guy showed up. He could have been working on another ride? There are two large roller coaster and the yellow one had the longest wait time because it's only one cart that holds 2-4 people per ride! If you see no line? Get on that first! Lol Parking? Wasn't an issue. The pricing seems pretty steep for what you get. I might come back here! My kids had a good time. And the staff were nice too!

Adult Nights are so fun and i wish i had knew about them sooner! I used to go to this park as a teen but there's something about going as an adult that's still fun. They have dance dance revolution still so that's always a plus and the laser tag will NEVER get old.

This thing makes them laugh and scream, plus it's indoors. It gives you the belly drop you're looking for!!!

We Came here for my son's 9th birthday and we had a blast. Staff was amazing went above and beyond in helping us. Whole day flowed smooth. Birthday was in March so we couldn't do the outdoor activities but we will definitely be back in the summertime for them, because they look super cool. If you live close, this is a great place to host birthdays, the arcade has new games, a couple were out of order. Hopefully they fix them but regardless the kids had a blast. And the ice cream cake was pretty good too. Definitely recommend ice cream cake.

What a hidden gem! Came to Adventure Park USA at least three times this summer! Pros -Great stepping stone for young kids with amusement park preparation! -So many attractions and things to do! Go Karts, indoor mini bowling, bumper cars, outdoor mini golf, large slides, carousel, teacups, tilt a whirl, scrambler, water bumper boats with water guns! -My 4 year old daughter went on the mini roller coaster (tumble weeds) She must have went on it like 5 times in one visit. It really helped her prepare for the larger coasters. -Laser tag was super fun with my son (7 years)! The arena was fairly big with ramps and areas to hide. -Gemstone mining is extra $5-$10. I recommend getting the small bag. The kids liked playing in the sandy dirty water for treasure. Mom didn't like the price for that, lol. -The XD theater was super fun! Be sure to ask what movie is playing because the ride may be a little rough for a little one. My daughter (4 years) sat by herself during the movie. When it got a little too bouncy for her, we put our thumbs down. This signals the attendant to immediately turn off her seat and just enjoy the 3D movie. -My daughter went on the ropes course. She was nervous and made it across one area and decided it wasn't for her. The attendant was gentle and accommodating. Now my daughter wants to go back and finish the course! -Staff was friendly, informative, and helpful. -Arcade area had various age ranges of games. It's no Dave & Busters (sorry adults) -The passes are decently priced. You have the option to get ones with or without the arcade and rides. -Large parking lot for parking -I regret not trying the food there at the restaurant. We did get great slushies though! Cons -Bathrooms could have been cleaned more often Our family will definitely return again next season!

Ask the Community - Adventure Park USA

Is this a place for a toddler 2year old and can adults do anything?

For a 2 year old I would say no, but definitely stuff for adults. I wasn't there for the outdoor section though. So maybe outdoors your toddler could find attractions to ride.

Is this a good place for 12 and 13 year olds?

Yes. Go karts and roller coasters, very fun.

On 8 May 1999 I heard advertisements for The Joker's Jinx . I remember I didn't like the ads for the ride, but I knew I would certainly ride this ride. The day I went to the park, I rode many rides, because I know the line for this ride would be long no matter what time I went. When I finally arrived to the ride, the line was long, but there were refreshments for those in line. The lemonade hit the spot and I had plenty of time before I rode the ride to get the fluid into my system. When I saw the paint job for the Joker, I never thought emerald green and purple went well together, BUT THEY DO. Oh, I was young back then. I even bought a Joker's Jinx tee shirt. At that time I wore a large tee shirt. I don't remember what happened to the shirt, but I know I through...no...I believe I gave it to good will. When I finally got to the gated area, you had to pass by several mirrors that made you look distorted. For my first experience I went straight to the back where I had to wait a little longer. Why, because the rear is tighter? Because I like it in the rear? Or because the rear of the car is the fastest. This answer is the best answer. The front is the slowest, but the rear end gets pushed forwards because of the force of the front of the car. The middle seats are a natural point. In this case since it is a blast coaster it pretty much doesn't matter until you feel the rear end of the car moving faster from the pulling of the rest of the cars. The spiraling looks to the side way turns make this rollercoaster a lot of fun. Listening to one of the operator say "Hands Up, hands up, I wanna see your hands." Once everyone's hands were up, he would hit the go button and everyone in the coaster cars would shoot forwards. I would love to say The Joker's Jinx started the blast coasters craze, but it wouldn't be true. Still, I had a lot of fun. This ride is a steel ride and steel rides have been know to be smoother than the wooden rollercoasters. I wouldn't mind going on this ride again. I would call this a high thrill ride.

They have a larger water park section with a splash pad, some larger slides and other water areas. My kids stuck to the main, non water park. This is a throwback to another era with a monorail, running through the parking lot and some older vintage rides. You can tell some of the parts could use some TLC. The bumper cars broke multiple times during our visit, ever time we were in line. They also had a recent incident with their sky ride getting stuck and guests had to be rescued. My kids loved the animatronic dinosaurs at the back of the park, but some of dinosaurs definitely have seen better days and some were not operating at all. All in all, the kids will love it. A small baby pool is great for the little ones. It says 1.5 ft deep but more like a foot. The bigger kids really enjoyed the big pool. Dinner at Penleys was ok. The Cobb salad great and chicken nuggets and fries typical. Our son got the brats. He enjoyed them but we both thought the gravy wasn't needed. I would have liked some cooked marks on them. Mac and cheese looked good The only option for breakfast was the buffet. The only gf/df choices were scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit and granola. Oatmeal with topping choices would have been welcomed. Pancakes and waffles were precooked Staff is friendly and accommodating.

To start, the customer service was very strong. Staff were friendly and willing to answer my questions especially in regards to what my youngest kid couldn't/couldn't do. We came here on a Sunday morning and it was not crowded at all. This place is especially great for kids 11 and under, which was perfect since my kids could really do whatever they wanted since there were no crowds. My kids loved the obstacle course and spent forever on it. It's fenced in, and everything is well protected. It also appears to be very-well maintained. We also did the go-carts, which was perfect for my kids. My daughter sat with my wife as a passenger (she's only charged $3 because she can't drive as opposed to the full fee). These are electric go-carts and don't accelerate much, making it very safe for kids who are learning. My son, who is 48 inches could drive on his own and the reduced speed of typical go-cards made learning perfect for him. We also did quite a few laps in 5 minutes. I do think, however, that if they were 12 or older, it wouldn't have been as much fun since again, it's a bit slow compared to typical go-carts. The arcade was fine. Standard arcade stuff. Prices were on the higher end and there wasn't much diversity (there were way too many claw machines IMO). $10 gets you about 5 games, which again, seems high. We did not eat any of the food since we were there before lunch and the options seemed like low-quality arcade food. We also did not do the virtual reality or laser tag this trip. We would definitely return.

Food is okay but you're not going here for the food. Now if you're a Rita's fan they have one inside that's open year round, unlike the main Rita's places. They have decent packages for mini golf, go karts and laser tag. Plus they always have coupons in the Clipper magazine. I've taken my daughter to two different birthday parties here and both felt rushed. If there are several parties going on at the same time the party planners get the times mixed up which eats into your party time. So that needs planned better. I know it's high school kids as staff so you have to expect some hiccups and for the most part they are trying their best. Both party planners we've had were super nice and really seemed to enjoy what they're doing. All and all for a fun family night of mini golf, go karts and some ice cream this place is awesome. Just keep your kids away from the arcade area. For the little kids there is also a really nice climb/tube area for them to get out some energy.

Overall wonderful experience but wanted to offer suggestions based on my observations. Suggestions for improvement: 1. Designate left side (as if you're walking into the establishment) door as entrance only and right side door as the exit. Right side door locked so people can't open it from outside and designated as exit only. Small area and a bit of a cluster with the line to pay and people attempting to exit. 2. Enforce the no running rule. There were several older kids running at full speed, could have seriously hurt some of the littles. 3. Reevaluate the location/flow for the cubbies and coat hooks. Maybe put a designated area by the exit door?! 4. Put some nets around the ball pit with one or two designated entries so balls aren't constantly ending up all over the floor. 5. Maybe shoe covers at the bathroom entrances?! Kinda gross to walk into a bathroom with play socks and then back running around all over. And put the entrance shoe covers somewhere more visible, most people missed that they were there.

Trains (rollercoasters) often went up with empty seats, all the while 50,000 people are waiting for 90 minutes just to get the chance to experience it. I'm sure you could add a line in there just for solo-riders who could complete those random single empty seats that go up each ride that were just waiting to be occupied. Then, when you do finally make it up close enough that you can see the loading dock, there is a HP person there with the wooden stick for kids... Some kids are being booted out at that point, after they've already waited for 90 minutes, only to find out they're going to be booted out anyway because they're not tall enough. Put those HP people at the Entrance into the ride instead of making all potential kids stand and wait in line and ruining their day when they could be spending that extra time experiencing other attractions. The Bumper Cars - there never used to be an island in the middle of it, and so the experience with that was much more exciting when you had free reign to drive anywhere, but now with this island and being forced to go around in circles, it takes all the excitement out of the experience and purpose of those vehicles anyway. Overall, service(s) were very slow, very minimal, and very lackadaisical. I have to say, after experiencing this first hand, I am not at all "Hersheypark Happy".
