One time the bread was just toasted with a single slice of cheese stuck in the middle. Another time they browned the bread on the grill and shoved four slices of cheese inside. A grilled cheese is simple: butter one side of two slices of bread, add one or two slices of cheese, and grill until golden brown. That's it. Someone please teach the kitchen staff the basics. The one bright spot is Jerome, the bartender -- he's the only reason this place didn't get a 1-star review. He make a really good cocktail and know what everyone likes to drink. This business needs an owner who treats it like their pride and joy, not something run on autopilot. Hopefully one day things will change, because right now the decline is impossible to ignore

The park has a picnic shelter with picnic tables under it and a grill just outside of it. It has two picnic tables. One of the tables is rectangular and the other is a square table with a checkerboard on it. There is also a couple of picnic tables and a grill in a grassy area in the center of the park's circle. You will also find a nice full basketball court at the park and a nice paved trail passes through it. It is a really nice trail and very peaceful. The highlight of the park though, is its playground. The playground has a rubber mud free floor, which is in great shape. There are benches around the playground's perimeter where parents can sit and watch their little ones. The playground's equipment includes a small jungle gym with slides, a large net climbing structure with a slide. There is also a bank of swings with a toddler swing, An ADA compliant swing, and some traditional swings. This is a very nice park. I didn't know if I would make a special trip to visit, but it is still very nice. I ended up here because I had picked up some food from a carryout joint and needed a place to eat it. The park's picnic shelter was the perfect spot. So, if you are in the area, and looking for a park to visit. I recommend checking this place out.

However, be prepared to wait in long lines at the light onto Brinkley Rd We got passes for the Adult session on a Sunday evening. This worked out best because the Sun was going down during our 3 hour visit. Youll see children leaving from the session before , but they will all have vacated the park by the time adult sessions start. Adults are 16+ Quite a few LARGE bounce houses, shading under tents, with chairs and tables to use. Port a potties. Food trucks on site. Free places to leave your shoes and belongings if desired. Otherwise, you can take your shoes off and leave them in front of the bouncy houses. They sold water for $2 a bottle Bring your own water bottles. Wear socks with grips if you have them. Youll be taking your shoewear off often so I recommend wearing sandals that slip on/off or crocs. Bring a towel to for sweat You will get sweaty lol. All of the staff were wonderful, friendly and fun! We did the last BIG BOUNCE house entry at 830p. A lot of youth sports, adult league baseball and softball, it's just one of those parks that stays active. You can pull up on any given day and see games, practices, or people just out enjoying the space. The park has a lot to offer too. Baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis and pickleball courts, open sports fields, walking paths, and even a dog park. There's a nice skate section, solid playgrounds, and plenty of space to just hang out. Growing up, we used to run around the playground area with family and have small cookouts. Just simple times, but those are the kind of memories that stick with you. Now it's cool getting to come back and watch the youth in my family play sports in the same places people once watched me, and being able to share those memories together. That part really hits different. Everything is kept up well, and there's enough space where it doesn't feel overcrowded even when it's busy. Overall, it's more than just a park to me. It's one of those places that's always been there, and still delivers. Great for sports, family time, or just getting outside. The good old days type of spot for sure.
