Loads of choices -perfumes, eau de toilettes, soaps, lotions, and more! We purchased a perfume, and a couple of eau de toilettes, all of which were wonderful, and reasonably priced. I really like how they sell large "bulk" versions of some of their Eau de toilets. I ended up picking up a reasonably priced bulk bottle for about ~80 Euro, and then purchased a small spray bottle for about 10 Euro. If you do buy their spray bottle, just know that the inner bottle opening is small, so you may need to use a funnel to fill it without spilling. We loved Fragonard so much, we ended up shopping at the Nice Airport store as well. Prices at the airport were the same as in-store, which is great. Thanks again to Ana for answering all of our questions and providing excellent service. Also, thank you for the samples!!! If you're coming to Ezé, be sure to stop by. There is too much awesome stuff here in this museum!…read more First of all, the price is right: 6 Euro for a day pass is a steal when there's this much entertainment (1 Euro per floor!) Second, they take you through perfume making from the start to finish of manufacturing and bottling, and they show a comprehensive history of perfume and cologne! There's so much to wonder about: I found myself thinking how similar perfume making was to writing a symphony---you start with a few notes and ideas and try to mesh them in a way that people will enjoy. Nothing here is accidental. There are a few multimodal art installations as well (one where you can smell a perfume and look at art, one where you listen to a jazz song and smell perfumes, etc.) There's also a great garden where you can learn what sorts of aromatic plants and other things go into perfume. The history itself is fairly interesting, and the exhibit does a great job at holding your hand through the development of perfume over time. This is one of the coolest and most interesting museums I've been to. Thank you for the information and newfound appreciation of perfume!

After a trip to Galleries Lafayette in Nice came up empty, I looked up boutiques where the perfume is sold. Tanagra is the only mentioned location in Nice. This boutique is an old school perfumerie, ie not what you might've come to know or expect at a duty free shop or Sephora. Tanagra carries prestige perfume brands. The shop assistant spent a lot of time with me. She showed me Portrait of a Lady as well as other scents in the same line. She could tell I wasn't totally sold on any of them. Truth be told, they were lovely but all very heavy for my taste. After I casually mentioned that I liked Bal d'Afrique by Byredo (which they had), she made a new recommendation for me based on that. The recommended perfume was much better suited to me than Portrait of a Lady and I ended up buying it! My sales assistant was like a perfume whisperer! She took the time to get to know what I liked. She sprayed me with my new perfume before I left and sprayed a fan with my perfume as a parting gift. The experience and details were top notch! The measuring part was a little tricky for me (especially when certain notes needed much more than others), but the staff was so helpful and made sure it all came together. I ended up adjusting my picks and loved the final result. You're supposed to wait seven days before wearing it so the notes can fully settle, but I couldn't resist trying mine right away. It already smells amazing. The best part is they keep your formula on file, so when you run out, you can order another bottle of your exact creation. I can't wait to start wearing mine every day. It's such a special reminder of my trip. Highly recommend this experience!

The store is divided into 5 stories (first floor being floor 0 in Europe). Floor 0 includes cosmetics and beauty, watches and accessories and a salon, plus individual shops for the luxury retailers like LV, Balenciaga, Gucci, etc. First and second floors are higher end and mid-high end women's apparel and additional accessories. Third floors is men's and fourth floor is everything else--furniture, home goods, gourmet foods, restaurant. Personally wish it carried more gourmet food items like the Paris locations, but I guess it's not as big as those locations so there's less selection.
