He listened to my history, performed and thorough examination, explained concerns and next steps in a clear and understandable manner. He didn't try to get me to consent to unnecessary treatment, as some dentist have in the past. He met me where I am and just a all around pleasant and professional dentist. I am a veteran, and at times using care in the community can be subpar. But I am excited to have been referred to this dental office because I will be receiving high quality care!

The receptionist kept calling my Carolyn even though my name is printed on all the electronic forms. This is really frustrating. I unknowingly was booked with a technician. Not only was she overagressive with use of a huge steel dental pick around my gum line and scraping areas that were sensitive she was heavily pregnant and kept putting her stomach on either my shoulder or head during the exam. That is totally inappropriate to touch a patient like that. Also the last time I was there for a repair (I had a weird chip on my front tooth) Dr Bakir fixed it with something called a film and not bonding. It literally looks clear. That was also inappropriate. I probably will end up scheduling elsewhere next time.

I ended up getting a second opinion, and the other dentist confirmed that my diagnosis was significantly overblown. They also discovered that a crown I had done here wasn't fitted properly. Canceling appointments, calling patients w/o leaving messages, outdated form entry system- as a long time patient trying to bring my daughter to this practice, the process has turned me off completely & now we both need a new dentist. W/o going into personal details- non-clinical staff should be proactive and have a bed side manner too. Asking someone to treat/fix a paperwork situation that eliminates back and forth, miscommunication, or counterproductive communication, is harder than I thought it would be. I had a clinical issue as well w/ bells palsy reaction from the numbing needle when getting a filling before- so I opted to never get that again. Especially after calls, and emails to the office and no one ever called me back. I changed to cleanings only but the dental assistants arent all the same. Overall my experience over the years rounds out at a solid 3... but clerically theyre at a solid 1.8

A Perfectionist. I…read moream writing this review for Rita Tempel and associates. I am 37 years old and had not seen a dentist since I was 20 years old. The reason for my initial visit was because a sensitive spot on one of my wisdom teeth - they needed to be removed. She was quick to have an oral surgeon refered to me and set up for the removal process. I had also gotten Periodontal gum disease due to not seeing a dentist and having plaque buildup below the gums. She had been able to set up a treatment plan that included deep root scaling to remove the plaque, teeth cleaning, periodontal disease treatment, stain removal, and finally resin fillings. The treatment plan has taken the entirety of 2025 to complete and I am on my way to the last appointment! The process was slowed on my end and visitations had to be spread out due to no dental insurance. I was able to work with them to open an account and take advantage of 6 month no interest promotional plans per visitation instead of paying a full lump sum out of pocket. Will recommend as she is a perfectionist and takes her time to ensure that the disease has recessed and no longer evident before doing the fillings. The resin is not noticeable as the color matching has a wide range to choose from. No pain - no stereotypical dentist inducing fear. It is an in an out experience for a perfect appointment. Don't wait too late even if you have no insurance to schedule with her as there is a reason why she has won awards in the area and has a solid backlog with quite the team to help her out with appointments.
