I was told that our main interior beam would be custom because of the ceiling fan we wanted installed. When they came back, they built it on site. The weather stripping on the windows was very short. It took months for them to change it out. The one door (swinging) would not lock. It took several trips to get it right and it now swings very stiff. The roof leaked, the entire interior was never wiped down and we had to fight with them to install the exterior skirting. The service man that came out multiple times was very nice, at first. I do think that he got tired of coming back out to fix things. The OWNER WAS TERRIBLE!! At least he said that he was the owner! I question the quality, as I said , its only a couple of years old. Will the windows hold up?? Value, I dont think so. A carpenter friend said that he could have built it, with better windows for far less money. I WOULD NOT use this company or their product.

Another one was $20,000 One was $14,000 but I didn't like the guy Finally, we settled on Installers Now, LLC for $13,950 for the complete roof. Extra things come up on the job, like broken gutters and the installation of a bathroom rooftop exhaust fan. Only $800 for the 5 different extras. The boss and owner. I felt like I was dealing with a neighbor, not a salesperson. It was a tough decision but his personal touch closed the deal. When the day came to do the work, the crew was onsite right away and went straight to work. They were not disruptive and got the job done in less than one day. They didn't damage my lawn with their equipment and they checked multiple times that they cleaned up properly and didn't miss anything. They are a local company that I highly recommend.

I questioned him about a window, he said it is not an issue. The installers came and stated the new awning had to go higher or I would not be able to use the window; so I said okay. Now that new awning is higher than what the estimator stated, it does not block the sun in evenings. Also, they didn't plug the holes from the old awning nor hide the power cable as promised. I attempted to work with the company to get the proper size awning for the height, they would not accommodate me. I knew I was over paying for the Sun setter awning, I expected quality work and a reputable business transaction, I got neither. I got an expensive awning that does not block the evening sun and too high the use the side curtain I paid extra for.

We have called more than five times since then and are told the request has been sent to manufacturing. It's August 1, 2023 and we have an awning that cost in excess of $3,000 that we can't install. We continue to see ads on TV for the product and the website indicates that they will be happy to take your order. Buyer beware.

Brown put on my roof 20 years ago after having significant problems with ice damming, and leaking. They said they'd guarantee no problems with leaking due to ice dams for 20 years. Here I am 20 years later to say, not once have we had a problem and still no problems!! We have had other work done on our house, and every contractor asks who did our roof, and compliments the excellent work. So finally in 2021, we called Window World. Preston came out and was so knowledgeable about all the window options for us. We were replacing five windows with eight new ones due to the old ones being picture windows that didn't open. He listened to our opinions and what we wanted the finished product to look like. It did take about 12 weeks for the windows to come in, but they were very efficient with scheduling once they did. They finished all of those windows in ONE DAY. They had a large crew and just divided and conquered. My reason for taking a star away was just some housekeeping things. We found screws in our driveway and luckily I found them before my husband came home or he would've driven right over them. And just trash throughout the area. We also had to patch just a couple of areas where they expanding foam didn't finish expanding, but that's not their fault. Overall they saved us at least $3-$4,000, so we would absolutely work with them again on future projects.

They'll take your money and then you'll never hear anything from them again. We had a project with them back in 2014, where we had 5 windows and a sliding door installed, and everything went great. The price was right, they got the windows/door in when they said, installed them when they said, and the installers were great. Recently we bought 6 windows from them back on Sept. 3rd, 2020, and they said (because of C19), it would take 10-14 weeks to get them in and get them installed. We were OK with that, as we were not in any hurry, and we understood things were a bit wonky with C19. After 10 weeks, we hadn't even received one update from anybody at Champion, to let us know what was the status of our order or anything. Not one! I called their "customer service number", at least 8-10 times, as I wanted to talk to someone, but no answer. After calling and leaving at least a dozen messages, I finally got a call back, from someone in their customer service dept. They said the windows would be in shortly and they would be able install them as soon as they came in. Two weeks later, I got a call to let me know the windows were in and they could come and install them that day. I told them to come and install them ASAP. The installers showed up, but they could not install the windows because they were the wrong size. Apparently the people measuring do not know how to read a tape measure. A couple of the windows were over 3" off. Unbelievable. The installers were NOT happy, as they had to come all the way from Milwaukee. They remeasured and told me the 2nd set of windows would be reordered and would be in within 10 business days. Two weeks later, no update from Champion. Not one peep. I called the customer service guy I had been working with, to try and get an update, and he informed me he no longer worked for Champion and had no information for me. I tried calling the local Champion office, left half a dozen messages messages, not one call-back. Again, not a peep. That was back in February. It is now almost April. So, long story short, on our 6 window install project: Ordered and paid for 1/2 the project on Sept. 3rd, 2020. After dozens of non-returned phone calls, after dozens of non-returned texts to their customer service personnel, after getting the windows that were the wrong size, and after almost 7 months of non-existent customer service, I still do not have my windows. I have been trying for several days to contact Champion Windows to cancel the project and get my money back, left a number of messages, but, again...which is the norm for Champion Windows so-called Customer Service...I have not received any communication from them. Nothing. Zero. Nada. Zilch. I tried calling them again today (03/29/2021) and nobody will answer the phone. So, long story short...my recent experience with Champion Windows of Madison has been ABSOLUTELY HORRIFFIC and NEVER again will they see a penny of my hard-earned money. My advice, avoid this company at all costs. Go with Mad City Windows, Felco, or any other window company that might actually provide what you pay for.

First came in May 1 when I initially asked for one, and then mysteriously another one showed up for some strange reason in July. (???) BOTH times NO estimate amount was even listing on the invoice. Very incompetent. Who needs the frustration! If you can not even get an estimate, I can only imagine the work they do. Go somewhere else is my advise.
