We now, come often from Grand Rapids. Dinner was wonderful again tonight. Salmon with exotic mushrooms. Fantastic. I came alone & sat at the bar. Nice conversations with others also enjoying the ambience. Easy place to come to and feel comfortable alone or with others. Highly recommend this special place.

This is such a special hole in the wall place where if you know you know- and if you don't, you wish you did. The walls are filled to the brim with things to look at, the pizzas are exceptionally fresh, and if you come on the right nights, you'll get to sit back and enjoy a jazz band. overall one of my favorite ways to unwind on a weekend.

Had the opportunity to dine at the Galleria last night, with work peers and a few customers. Everyone in our party was impressed. Five courses of delicious food presented masterfully, explained by the chef, everyone agreed that the Galleria was one of the best dining experiences we had ever had.

Currently my favorite place in Holland!! Very unique restaurant which offers phenomenal food and drinks but also has the art studio which you're free to walk around and view the art. Just about all of the art is from local artists and really adds to the bohemian vibe. The pizza here is fantastic! I recommend the margherita pizza but honestly they are all good! Sacha is always walking around and checking in on his guests, he loves to come by and chat with you as you eat it while you wait for your food. He also hosts private dining Chefs table experiences and classes were he teaches you to make pasta! Holland is hurting for fun and unique restaurants but Galleria is doing its fair share to bring up the Holland culinary profile! read more

I wish we had discovered this gem earlier. Our son goes to Hope and we visit often but this was our first time (it won't be our last)! This multi-faceted destination spot has won our hearts (and our stomachs). The art on the walls is gorgeous, the art on the plates mouth-watering! Make time to stop by this special place just minutes from Holland's downtown. Oh my goodness...what a fabulous highlight of the Holland restaurant lineup. I grew up just blocks from this delightful experience. What a treat to return to find Chef Sacha and his masterful chef's menu. The space is intriguing as soon as you enter and the walk through the facility heightens the anticipation of what is to come. Sacha called ahead of time to discuss our food interests and allergies. He prepared a spectacular array of courses each surpassing the previous dish though every one was scrumptious: bruschetta, arugula and pear salad, scallop, osso buco, tiramisu. The intermittent visits by Sacha to describe what we were eating added such a personal warmth to the dinner. The wine pairings were great; none of us had any of the wines previously and they were all excellent. This will become a tradition for our annual visits to Holland. We were guests at a group event and the food was exceptional - from the charcuterie to the stuffed dates to the pizza and desert, nothing disappointed. Chef Sacha was friendly and welcoming, and wandering the gallery with a glass of wine and some nibbles was fun! Be aware, though, that the pace and service is very European, so nothing happens quickly! As long as you are good with that vibe, you will have a great experience. read more

The section I saw it in was adjacent to a stunning chef's kitchen (I covet that stove) where they also hold cooking classes. I hope I can make one work sometime in the future. I'd love to take a pasta making class or paella, both of which are in their line up of offerings. Those seem to be priced at around $125 per person which I think is reasonable for a hands on class and a meal at the end. Oh, one of the clothing sections was located in the old bank vault, which was a cute touch and interesting use of the space!

We all sat at a table built around the stove so we could watch as the food was being prepared. Chef Hillary explained how she was making things and answered questions about how we could make them at home. The food was very fresh and flavorful and beautifully presented. We started off with Lump Crab Cakes with a Rémoulade which were very creamy and tasted like fresh crab. My wife who is on a gluten free diet had an arugula salad with goat cheese, candied walnuts, prosciutto, and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing which was also very tasty. We then had a small spoonful of home made sorbet with aged balsamic vinegar as a palate cleanser. The main meal was Hickory Influenced Grilled Salmon on Creamy Roasted Garlic Grits, Grilled Peaches, Red Onions, Fire Roasted Poblano, Green Chili Gastrique, and Apple Smoked Bacon. All of the ingredients complimented each other perfectly and the sauce was the highlight that brought it all together. For dessert we had Crème Brulee with fresh raspberries which was so delicious! We went in late July and the berries were abundant (and delicious). We definitely tried our way through some favorites and then picked entirely too many. We ended up eating most and adding tons to blueberry pancakes over our vacation weekend in South Haven. Can't remember the exact prices but cheaper than I've paid for berries all summer, I know that much. And we ALWAYS have blueberries in the house. Also loved the super sweet blueberry lemon sugar cookie that they had in their shop, and felt welcome by the friendly staff. Lastly, speaking to how close everything is both on the farm and off; this is quite close to downtown South Haven when driving, but still feels way out in the country. It's a perfect combo, IMO, and we'd come back again and again if we lived near here.

It's not the same experience when you are walking to the fields and the entire family needs to share a single bucket. We also adored the low key barrel ride. I believe it was about 5 dollars a ticket in the past. Now, you must pay 12 dollars per child plus 5 dollars per adult to watch your child play and go on a barrel ride. The petting zoo, bumbleberry chair, tire castle, everything is gated off. We passed and noticed most families did the same. This would have cost our crew 45 dollars for one ride (two toddlers, 4 adults). What was once a quaint family farm now feels off. We will be picking somewhere else next year.

Fun in the sun and a pile of fruit to boot!…read more So after another Reits run, the three of us (me, S, and my niece) decided that we'd had enough digging around looking for books and toys, but we really didn't want to go home yet. That was when S had a great idea- go pick strawberries! U-Pick fruit places are everywhere around here, and we've both got good memories of heading to Fritz's U-Pick out near Gobles when we were younger. So a quick search on Yelp turned up this place, and it was actually convenient to get to- it was on the way back from Reits. Pulling in, we were greeted with a field full of cars, and a massive strawberry field- with lots of other people here! The way it works is rather simple- you get a big container and a few little ones, and you go up and down the rows of strawberry plants looking for ripe red berries to pick while avoiding the rotten ones, the green ones, and the damaged ones. When you've picked enough (whether because your carrier is full or your back says "no more" doesn't matter), you carry the strawberries up to the hut where they're weighed and you pay for them. Then you take them to your vehicle and go on your way. It's a lot of fun, and my niece had a blast helping us dig for yummy fruit, and spending some time outside instead of watching television all day is always good. There are a few caveats- this is physical activity, so be prepared to get down and dirty. The majority of the berries are deep under the leaves, so you might have to kneel or sit in the moist dirt. Wear stuff you don't mind getting dirty. There are bees about- just give them space if you have to. It also gets pretty hot, so take precautions on sunny days! The berries here won't be as big, as uniform in flavor or in color as the ones you find at the Wal-Mart/Meijer's/local grocery. If you're looking for strawberries just to eat, be aware that you might get some sour ones- but if you're going to do things like make jelly or jam, make some strawberry pie or shortcake, or whatever, this place will suit your needs perfectly! If you don't feel like picking them yourself, you can buy them for about three bucks and change a pound (u-pick are about two bucks a pound). This is a great place to spend a few hours! We'll be back again!

This place was fantastic to view tulips and experience the magic of being amongst a field of flowers, and we were so excited to have the opportunity to order bulbs to plant in our own garden from the varietals we saw in the gardens. Note: restroom facilities and food options are quite limited during peak season, so plan accordingly!

Visited on a Friday evening, early. Good thing 'cuz it filled up quickly. There are not a lot of tables (old Pereddie's bar). Hubby had the Mamma Porka (which he ate before we all got a taste), mil had the Vegetarian (she loved it and I enjoyed leftovers!) and I had the Margherita with Burrata. Delicious! Drinks and service were good. The chef came out to check on us (and other tables) which I love because it shows he how invested he is in his restaurant. The best part of the meal, tho, was the creme brûlée!! A friend recommended this and she was absolutely correct that this is one of the best (and I've had quite a few). The eating area doesn't have much of an atmosphere, but it is connected to a gallery that features lots of art. A nice, different kind of place for Holland. I adore this place! Step out of the everyday and be transported to a world of flavors in the food, atmosphere and wine selection at Galleria. With working artist studios that are used daily, this is a unique and rich experience that I love every time. Chef Sacha is amazing in the kitchen, using his extensive travel and life abroad to inform his flavors and menu selections. We held our wedding and rehearsal dinner at Galleria the weekend of 9/30/2023. Pamela and Sacha were incredibly accommodating and worked with us to create an amazing tasting menu and wine pairings for our 16 guests that helped showcase our favorite meals as a couple. Set in a gallery with working artists at one end of the space, the other end is devoted to artists as well, both at the bar and in the kitchen. The chef-owner presides as an affable and informative host, who clearly delights in pleasing his guests with great cuisine and good stories behind everything on the menu as well. Saturday nights feature live music to complement the other artists at work as well. This place gave us a magical Saturday evening, and we'll definitely be back - often. read more

You will not find a better place to spend an evening in Holland. The atmosphere is relaxed and full of old-world charm. The food is incredible and the chef has as much personality as the many beautiful pieces of art throughout the space. You feel like you belong as soon as you walk through the door and you are welcomed home and served excellent food and drinks while listening to talented local musicians. Galleria is a wonderfully unique experience. Chef/Owner Sacha prepares first rate food with exceptional skill and creativity in a working art studio/gallery environment. Fun to browse the gallery with a wine or drink. Great artisan pizzas and chef's table special events. Like nothing you've done before. If you're in West Michigan you gotta check it out. Some of the best dinning experiences of my life have been here the three times I have gone. The food is exceptional. From pizza to pork to specialty ravioli, Chef Sacha and Chef Israel are masters at their craft. The venue is stunning, and the personality of the chefs and the experience as a whole was unlike anything I have ever experienced.
