There were 14 of us and they managed to fit us into the restaurant area on the proviso we ordered quickly before the 6:30pm booking arrived and one table had to vacate by 8pm. The staff were great and we did not feel that we were being rushed even though some people had starters. A lot of us picked from the specials board and the food came out devine and the service was outstanding. The place was busy as it was the jazz/fringe festival weekend so the clientelle was of all ages (a bit annoying having babies/kids screaming thoughout the meal) including elderly who came in through the fire door for easy access. I would definitely recommend this place which is also dog friendly. This place is soo good that Seasick Steve was playing there that evening and eating his dinner in the pub part as we left.

Probably only 200 yards, but what a difference! It's a 'real' pub full of locals as opposed to the shade wearing Sunday poseurs you see in the pricier places. It has an excellent collection of light, local beers and great views to Malvern & the east. Cheap too, my round only cost £7.00 for three!!! The interior is a glory to behold.....fake beams, some fibre glass, and a sub Spoons patterned carpet. My advice? A window seat, looking at the view!!!

There is some guest parking behind the pub itself and plenty of free on-road parking if the car park is full. A 2 minute walk away from the pub there are some great walks across the Malvern hills to suit all levels of walker, and some amazing views too! The room we stayed in (no. 4) was fantastic, being a good size with a big double bed, an excellent shower, LCD Freeview TV, tea making facilities -- including some Camomile and Green Teas, bottled water, plus some scrummy biscuits! -- and reliable free Wi-Fi too. Also included in our room was genuinely useful visitors guide with complimentary maps of local walks to take away with you. The pub itself has a lively bar area occupied by friendly locals, and a lounge area that serves food until 8.30pm each evening. The home cooked grub was nothing short of fantastic! We had two main courses, and alcoholic drinks and the bill came to a very reasonable £35. Breakfast was just as good, with a variety of cereals, home cooked bread, spreads and a choice of full cooked English, vegetarian or Kippers too! If you want an early night then be aware that you might be disturbed by the bar music intermittently disturbing you until 11pm-ish. Take some ear plugs if you're easily disturbed, or better still, enjoy the good atmosphere of the pub and great variety of beer until late! The owners/staff were very friendly indeed and I'd have no hesitation in staying here again -- we really enjoyed our stay!

It was a lucky dip that ended in a wonderful meal and a very nice experience thanks to the pub owners. We rocked up around 4pm and were told by a staff member in the parking lot, who kindly offered to take our photo, that they were probably out of roast being it was so late in the day but he would speak to the chef. 20 mins later we had a couple of beverages at a nice table in the lounge overlooking the water and a delicious beef roast dinner with root vegetables, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. We cleaned our plates and followed lunch up with a sweet and tasty slice of homemade carrot cake. It was absolutely fantastic. The staff were ever so friendly and really looked after us. What a great little find and we are so pleased to have stumbled upon it! Now, hours and a couple sofa snoozes later, we are still stuffed!

The Nags Head is a place that has 15 hand pumps for cask conditioned Ales. The place is old like a real pub should be. It is so kewl to sit in a public house that has been around over 200 years. The service was great the the restaurant that is attached is really quite good. Specializing in "Slow food" they only take reservations but I as a single managed to get squeezed into the dinner line up. I highly recommend if you are ever in Malvern to find the Nags Head and enjoy it!

Luckily for us the entrance is well tucked away at the top of the shopping centre, and we only knew it was there after asking the security guard if there was anything else upstairs - sometimes being nosey pays off! This meant it was fairly full but not absolutely bursting like all the bars on the lower floors. There seemed to be people getting turned away near the door as there were no tables free but mum and I just walked straight past to the bar counter at the back - so sometimes not asking permission for stuff pays off too! The menu is sight to behold (it comes in a box) but we kept it simple, getting giant wine glasses of prosecco as they'd run out of flutes. We perched at the statement golden bar for a while then headed outside to the balcony area. There's lots of white sofas and tables to reserve around. Sipping on bubbles in the evening sunshine and enjoying the view over the Pendigo Lake, we felt like we were in a bar somewhere much more exotic than Brum! The prices match the classy setting so it's not somewhere you'd stay for long unless you have money to burn, but mum felt very treated and the posh loos definitely beat queuing at the arena ;)
