We called this morning and asked if we could bring her in for an emergency appt. We were told to bring her on in. After sitting for almost 30 minutes they looked at my account and apparently since I had a complaint on my last visit, they referred us to Albuquerque. I've gone here few times but different people each time. I went Sat 10/3/25 for gel pedicure and sns dip powder. Firstly they loved me to 3 different station literally 3 people. Pedicure was ok but the middle aged/older lady with bowl cut who did my nails did not listen. I really wish I could say I loved my experience being here, however I would be lying to you & myself. I only came here for a simple eyebrow waxing & confirmed my appointment for 1 P.M. I got here at exactly 1 P.M. & now an hour later, I'm still sitting in the waiting chair for my 5 minute eyebrow appointment. I get it, people get manicures & pedicures etc. etc., but when I seen the "sign in" sheet, there was people who just did walk-ins. I'm very disappointed in how they managed to forget my appointment & make me fall an hour behind my schedule. To make matters even worse, there was a lady who got her brows done BEFORE ME! When I first walked in they asked what I wanted, I told them a full set. I looked at the price on the wall, it said full set $35. The lady doing my nails was rough and did them fast, she asked was I wanted and I told her ombré, and rounded. Well, I told her I wanted more white then nude, she then tells me it's short that's why it like that. Anyway, she did them so fast and got product all over my fingers. When I needed to pay, the owner told me it was $65, I asked why it's so much...now I don't hardly get my nails done, for this very reason. He told me it's because you wanted them ombré and rounded, to my surprise, I didn't know they have different prices for round nails, or ombre... At this point, I was upset and told him I didn't know that you charge for rounded tips and she never told me that it was more and never told me more for ombré!! It sucks for all these secret prices that they come up with. Now I get it, that they have regulars and the regulars they are super nice to, and that the regulars are probably going to say something about they never had bad experience or service, but believe I did! I paid, but I will not be going back there ever!! I will stick to getting my nails done in Albuquerque, I have never had bad service there. read more

I usually come to this establishment. I came at noon on Sunday and waited in line for thirty minutes before it opened. We all signed in. I signed in with the anticipation that we all would be served in the order we signed in. Apparently not!! Instead people came in after us who were served first (unfortunately) because of the color of their skin. When I brought up the issue that I, like several others had been waiting for over 2 hours and had seen four lite skinned women pass through and they had neglected a number of us, the tech made the claim that she would get to me next. I refused and directed her to the woman who had stood in line ahead of me and was still waiting. I no longer recommend this establishment. They do not have a working system to meet the needs of their customers. Its obvious that the workers here for some reason feel the need to cater to white consumers first regardless of who arrived first. The Dine' have always been the dominant group to contribute to this towns economy. A majority of business establishments would not be thriving without Dine' customers. I no longer recommend this business. Once I witness racial discrimination at any business I'm at, in any form it deters me from ever returning. read more

Super expensive for a full set. I'm more upset that my daughters cuticles were cut deep on each finger. Not a regular cut of cuticles but cut around the nail!! Not only was the service bad but they did not drop the price for cutting my daughter on each finger! Never ever going to step foot in this establishment again. read more

Posting on behalf of a friend: I tried out Gallup Nail & Spa based on a recommendation from a good friend. The gel mani was bad then my finger ended up seriously infected a couple of days later. Pictured, is my finger 5 days after my manicure. The French tips are brand new and fixed from a different nail salon and they recommended I get to the hospital immediately. Clearly this salon does not sanitize their equipment and I will never return to Gallup Nail & Spa. I'd hate for this to happen to someone else so I will also be warning all of my friends and family! read more

I was passing through and needed to stop for lunch. This place was right next door and thought, why not do both? It was very clean, staff was friendly and "clean" with how they work which I appreciate. The only thing, it took so long I could only get the pedacure, no manicure. The other, the massage chairs are really nice and seem somewhat new. The only thing is they mount the control behind you on the wall so you can't adjust the settings. So you need to be lucky on the setting you get and you'll have to ask them to turn it on again when the cycle stops. Despite the massage chair, I'm upgrading my previous review to 5-stars because the pedacure came out beautifully AND it was the best leg massage I've ever gotten! Worthy of a 40% tip! read more

I've been going to this business for 8 years about 3 times a month with each visit costing $35.00 or more. My recent visit was today Mother's Day. First of all I had made a prior appointment with Peter the nail owner but he didn't show up. Therefore his wife Mary told me she would do my nails. I got there at 12 noon when they opened. Mary sat me down at her table to begin the service. During this time she was busy attending to other customers and kept taking off. She basically did my nails here and there and going off another direction. I sat there for 3 hours waiting on her while I was ingesting the poor air circulating in the spa. I got a headache and dizzy waiting on her. She finally finished my nails and towards the end I made my dissatisfaction clear. I told her I been here to long and I needed to go that she needs to finish my nails immediately. She acknowledged me and finally finished my service with the worst results (see photos). I paid her and dried my nails and left. When I got outside my nails looked worst than a hooker after a long night. It was ugly! I immediately called Mary at her business asking for a full refund. She outright lied to me stating "no, we have given you many refunds before and to not come to her business anymore and go elsewhere because I complain to much". She hung up the call on me. (Her business has never refunded me money, they have offered to fix the issue a couple times before) I work hard for my money and gave them many business through the years and many many referrals to see Peter at this salon. I know I have every right to complain if the job is not done right and every patron has the right to do so also. Mary needs to pay attention to the client at hand and give proper service for what the customer wants. Needless to say she refused to refund my money and didn't even offer to fix the nails. This business has gotten entitled and comfortable and their patronage has suffered. This is my experience and I would only encourage other patrons to find a different salon and be prepared to breath in the bad air full of dangerous fumes. read more

I had a really good experience at this place! I hadn't made an appointment but they were able to fit me in quickly. Kody did my gel mani and pedi in record time, while still being comprehensive, and was pretty hilarious. There were a few minor imperfections on my manicure, most of which he fixed when I pointed them out. Prices are standard for what I've seen most places. I will definitely make this my go to place for getting my nails done in the area! read more

I was paired with a make (unknown name), who was extremely aggressive and did not take pride in his work. During the entirety of the service, he was rough in filing my nails, to the point where he broke the skin. I've received two cuts on my ring finger near my nail. I've been here twice: first time for acrylic dip and the 2nd for a pedicure. Well technically 3 times, but the first time I went I didn't think I wanted the dip acrylic. Having been to four other places in Gallup, this is by far the best. "John" did my acrylic dip, explained the process and talked be down from getting the tip extensions into just the dip. I'm glad he did. He did an excellent job and I am happy to go back. The 2nd time I went for a pedicure. "Mom" did my feet and legs. Best pedicure I have had in a long time. I got gel on my toes-the tiger eye gel. Sadly it doesn't show as well on toes, but the color is gorgeous. I haven't had any problems with infections or sore fingers or toes. Cost is what you would expect, although he will quote you $200! He's joking. Don't hesitate to go in. There hasn't been a wait yet. Everywhere else there is, sometimes over two hours. Both John and Mom are friendly, patient & easy to understand (English is NOT their first language.) Go. Get pampered. read more
