The website and client photos spoke volumes to me enough that I scheduled an appointment. Kalon is located in a business plaza among a physician office, yoga studio and other businesses. Kalon is a chic boutique located within a chiropractors office. Karen is the business owner and trained expert who performs the microblading. Karen gave me a thorough consultation of what to expect before, during and after the service. She explained the different types of eyebrow services from Microblading to Ombre and Hybrid. Karen made a recommendation of the Ombre technique based on my personal style and skin type (oily/mature). The entire service took 2.5 hours and was worth every penny! Karen is extremely professional, knowledgeable and gifted at what she does. I highly recommend Kalon for expert eyebrow and facial services.

Following my first session, I noticed significant unevenness and several sparse areas in my brows. I returned for a second session to address these concerns; however, I experienced the same outcome. While my brows initially appeared fuller and more even for about a week, the pigment faded quickly, leaving noticeable bare spots once again. Additionally, the final result appears more "powdered" rather than consisting of defined, hair-like strokes, which was my expectation. I will need to fill in the bare spots with pencil even though I paid more than I ever have for sub standard microblading! I have had microblading done in the past with results that lasted approximately 3-4 years. In my previous experience, a touch-up session was typically included as part of the initial service, rather than being charged at the same rate as the original procedure. I won't be recommending her to friends, family or coworkers and will go elsewhere next time.

I decided to give The Beauty Bar a shot, and I have no regrets! The ladies here are so kind and gentle, and they do a wonderful job (I used to go to a celebrity brow threader). And, you can't beat the price at only $12 (they prefer cash but take card). The spa is nice, and they offer other services too. It's in the mall which I don't mind, I just have to convince myself not to stop at Auntie Anne's every time lol. Totally recommend!

Over the years it turned red. I hated it. I happened to mention it to Lily and she told me she could remove the red and it would turn to a gray color. And within 15 minutes it was done! She used a laser technique. NO DOWN TIME. NO LOSS OF EYEBROWS. NO SCABBING OR SCARRING. My eyebrows look GREAT NOW. All the RED IS GONE! I can't thank her enough. My lashes were a mess full of excess glue and going in all directions. The upper and lower lashes would stick together. It was a mess. I was driving by Lady Red Lash and decided to stop in and get their opinion of my lashes. It was evident that they weren't good. So, I booked an appointment here for a removal and new, full set. Then the lockdown occured. They actually got me in very quickly once they opened. Oh and just to reassure people, you pull up and call to let them know you're here. They have some lounge chairs out front for you to wait for them to come and get you. The shop is adorable. Lots of products but they don't push any of them on you. Masks are required and social distancing is enforced. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and helpful. Originally I saw Maria for a classic set. She was awesome and did a great job. It was very obvious that she knew what she was doing and took special precautions to ensure my lashes were perfect. My lashes were a bit damaged from the previous stylist over doing it on the glue and she had cut my lashes for some crazy reason. My lashes are a bit sparse now, so although the lashes looked great, I wanted more volume. So I booked for a Hybrid set. I also got my brows waxed and shaped up. They did an amazing job at both.
