Fantastic nail spa & my new favorite pampering place. I received a fantastic pedicure that featured a paraffin wax treatment, as well as a very relaxing leg/calf massage. Just wow. I was completely blissed out. The aesthetic of the salon is bright, open, and clean. There are bathrooms and a water fountain; I felt very comfortable during my 2+ hour stay. The front salon area is quite open so I think it would be possible to comfortably maneuver a walker or wheelchair here if you wanted a manicure. I got a full set with Danny, and he did a fantastic job! Just a great all-around experience. I love my stilettos and look forward to returning in the future. read more

Nice enough people, sub-standard service, dirty/battered looking salon. I haven't had a manicure or pedicure in months and I just moved into the area. I called ahead to ask if they had availability and they said yes, and to come in now. I came in and was the only client, I wasn't asked which colors I wanted but was seated in a pedicure chair and handed books. I described what I was looking for (signature mani w/shellac & signature pedi w/polish) and explained that I wanted to be a regular customer. My hands and feet are a mess from a hellish winter (no shame) and need lots of cuticle/callous care, but instead someone started my manicure while I was getting my pedicure, leaning into my space with my arm across my body so he could reach. Neither service was even 75% what I was looking for and it was super uncomfortable/awkward, to the point where I finally said so. After the person attempting my manicure couldn't get my nails filed evenly, I gave up on the manicure and just went with the pedicure. The staff offered to fix my nails but I just wanted to leave, then they tried to charge me $20 for the shitshow file job. I guess I'll just keep looking for a new salon. read more

Best salon 10/10 I showed 3 pictures of what I wanted to see if they COULD do it. Many places will say they can and then it turns out to be a Pinterest fail. NOT THIS PLACE She worked with me with four books of sample colors for me to pick out 10 different colors for this look. Ocean spa pays close attention to detail. Especially with fill ins. When it came to the design she made sure I was happy with the flames on every single finger before it cured. I've never been more in love with my nails. $65 for fill in, shellac polish, and design. Came to get my nails done on Friday 03-31 (full set) I had read a lot of great reviews, went to a baby shower on Saturday and by Sunday my nails were literally breaking in half. I have never had that happen with any other set (this was my first time at this salon) . By Tuesday 6 of my nails had cracked and broken in half. I have been coming here to the salon for well over two years almost 3 now. I will never be coming back. They just lied straight to my face to get more money out of me. I feel so disrespected I thought I had a good relationship with the salon. What had happened was I came in for a soak off today, I have always got my acrylic nails done at the salon. When they were finished, ripping off my nails, after I asked for a soak off, which I tolerated by the way. My nail tech said I was all set and I began to pull out my wallet to tip her because I felt bad there was no charge for the service. I realize I did not have enough cash in my wallet, so I went to the dollar store right across in the plaza. When I returned, I asked for my cash to be broken down, so I could still give her a tip. To my surprise I was only handed back $10 and I then stated "this is only $10." The receptionist looks at me confused and says that yes soak off is $10. I told her that my nail tech said I was all set, and not to worry about it. I am confused and extremely disrespected. It really doesn't make sense to me that they also let me walk out without paying for a service when i had my card on me that I would have normally paid with like this whole situation is fishy and leads me to believe they lied straight to my face. They only accept tips via cash is the whole point why I went to the dollar store to get her a tip. I've been walked up to the counter to pay plenty of times (as any nail salon does) to pay and then I will tip there. If I was told "You're all set, Have a great new year" and she remains seated sorry that really seems like the service was free aka why I felt the need to tip extra but clearly it wasnt not that way. I love the nail tech I had shes a great lady but the receptionist and shes also the first chair nail tech has always been super rude to me & now lying. I dont do lying sorry X Overall - They ripped off my nails when I requested a soak-off, I should've spoken up and said something about that. Visited my dad out of state with my girlfriend, and he treated us to pedicures, and a manicure & pedicure for my girlfriend at this location. Everything was fine until today 2 days later when I realized I still have ingrown nails that hurt me while I'm working. After spending over $45 a person, with a grand total of $200+, I was kind of expecting more attention to detail, as I'm a regular at another spa and they always remove any ingrown nails to prevent pain and discomfort at a fraction of the cost (with a manicure included. )I did not get a manicure because it would've been an additional cost of $45 or more. The vibe was weird, tv's were everywhere but not in direct view for customers, almost as if it wasn't for you. TV's were behind and above the back wall where we were seated, and others in awkward locations. No music/radio so it's kinda awkward sitting in an almost quiet room with other people getting pedicures facing you and no TV to look at or radio to listen to. TV's could be heard but not seen from my parties view. One minute the employees would be speaking English to you and each other and then another language to each other which created a feeling of division between the foreign language speaking individuals and literally everyone else in the building. They did an ok job everywhere else- trimming of nails, the cleanliness of the store and the chairs, the cleanliness of the utensils they used on our hands and feet, etc. I personally would try another local nail spa before returning to this location Ps my girlfriend was and is very happy with her nails. I have only been here three times but so far I am very happy. I am always able to get right in (the first time I was a walk-in, the other two I made appointments). I love being able to make appointments at nail salons since I don't have a lot of time to wait around for an opening, so a location that takes appointments and accepts credit cards is great. I have had a different nail technician each time getting the shellac dip manicure and it has lasted 3 weeks each time. I am sure the manicure would last longer, but I have always already had a follow-up appointment, so I could not say for sure. The salon is very clean and everyone I have met has bene very nice. The only downside I would say is that they don't play music, so it can sound pretty quiet in there at times. read more

Gave me cold water to soak my nails in and I said this water is ice cold. My shellac peeled right off. When asked what happened to Annie and Ray the just looked at me. Pros: First few times i went there i saw the same women and absolutely loved my nails. She took her time and everything looked beautiful. She told me because their prices are a bit higher they have a 2 week policy that if your shellac chips or peels you can come in to get them fixed. I liked this because i am very hard on my nails and when i did go back in she stuck to her word. Also this salon is stunning. The atmosphere is nice and everything is beautiful and clean. Cons: After the women left i was seeing i went to a few other techs. I got a young guy for a pedicure and it took him a very long time. I don't mind it taking a while because i never like anything rushed but this wasn't an enjoyable long time. He wasn't doing a good job he was taking forever because one he didn't know what he was doing and two he hated what he was doing. He literally told me that he didn't like doing nails. If he wasn't complaining about that then he was talking about weed. I don't know if he thought because i was younger that i was interested but i was just listening while he talked and talked and talked. I also got my shellac done by an American blonde woman and when she did it they chipped off not even a week later. When i went in the guy working gave me a hard time about getting them done. I ended up getting them done and by that tech she did a great job and they lasted. The next time i went in the guy who did my nails did a good job but at the end tried to tell me a higher price. I asked him if they changed their prices and he said no this is what they've always been. I asked him if i could see a brochure and he gave me one. I really appreciated the attentiveness of the young man who checked me in. I believe that as Mother's, wives and caregivers, we should try to treat ourselves well, every now and again and enjoy the fruits of our labor. So when I had a Saturday off & saw that they were open late, I wanted to experience that level of pampering. But not by using my ENTIRE savings. With Yelp, they have 2$$'s listed which gives the implication that they are reasonably priced. It should be more like 4$$$$. I'm giving 2 stars because the prices are TOO expensive (for the community they are in. ) and I didn't not get all the items listed in my package : AROMA DELUXE PEDICURE ... $47 A deluxe spa pedicure: Whirlpool massaging chair, softening soak, trimming & shaping nails, cuticle treatment, exfoliation scrub, rejuvenating mask, hot towel, callus treatment, paraffin treatment, extended legs & feet massage. I'm not a cheap person - but geez! (I did not receive the mask or callus treatment or the extended legs and feet massage) but I was still charged full price, I believe my technician was in a hurry to leave. Nail Services that are normally under $30 at other local salons , are triple the cost here. They charge À la cart- there does not appear to be specials or discounts if you get same day multi-services. In hindsight, I suppose I should have asked for up front pricing BEFORE making my appointment.....Once burned twice shy. I don't see myself returning (unless I win the mega millions or poweball jackpot) this is not the place for an average woman who's not living off a trust fund or Richie Rich husband. read more

Many times I've had to wait at other salons even when i make an appointment. The staff are all very nice, and made me feel really comfortable. The manicurist ignored the fact I was bleeding until I said something. They proceeded to squeeze my toe so more blood came out. Not clear why in the world she did that. Walked in last week on a Wednesday, it was pretty quiet and clean. Was really surprised by how large the nail salon was. The cost for Nail Dip was a bit higher by 10%; cost $55. Had to return to have one of my nails redone because it cracked, no additional charge. I was also surprised that they Do Not use paper towels however they use fresh & clean wash cloths to dry hands. I had my very first lash perm done by Teresa and I'm obsessed with them! She tells you exactly what she's doing while she's doing it and answers any questions you might have. I love lash extensions but I'm too low maintenance to keep up with fill ins and my natural Asian lashes are WAY TOO straight to even bother with a lash curler or mascara. My natural lashes cannot keep a curl, even with water proof mascara and they tend to fall straight after 2 coats anyways. Lash perms are a godsend and Teresa did an amazing job. I have been coming here for quite some time now and I've always had great experiences. Today was anything but that. I walked in and explained to the AWESOME receptionist that I wanted my nails off and wanted to check out my nails before I made the decision to get them done again. She said great and another woman took me to a chair where an older gentleman was going to take my nails off. I asked if it would be possible if I decided to get them done for him to put a tip on one nail that broke down really short and he said yes. He filed my nails down and got one off. I looked at my nail and made the decision to give them some time to re-coup and not get them done again. I told him, and he very rudely said "well that's a decision you need to make before we start," as if I didn't explain to the receptionist exactly what I was thinking. He then cut my nails down as far as he possible could, buffed them with the drill, and then said he was done. I left the salon with pointed, jagged nails, and while it was only ten dollars, I'm super disappointed that he was so obviously upset about me not getting my nails done that he felt it was acceptable that I walked out with my nails looking like this. It was okay at first. Until the file cut me three times. To resolve the bleeding she sprayed alcohol and sealed the cut close with nail glue. My cuticle is bleeding and was connected to the nail.
