CALLING THE ATTENTION OF ALL THE BRIDES-TO-BE I usually don't like to write bad reviews, but as a bride-to-be, I would've appreciated a warning before considering this business. Hopefully this review will help others avoid making the same mistake I made in hiring such low-quality service. I hired the services of BridesMaid Beautiful on December 6, 2022. I sent my contract with the $200 deposit to secure my date. I took a long time to find a good place to assist me in my big day. I had the extra challenge of finding a professional because I am not a Michigan resident, and it took me longer to find someone local to my venue. Initially, I came across the Facebook page of BridesMaid Beautiful, and I was impressed by what I saw. My disappointment began on June 8th when I drove over 6 hours to go to their salon and get my makeup trial. They introduced me to the "professional" who was going to do my makeup. I showed her my inspirational picture of makeup, and she immediately started doing my eye makeup. She didn't clean or prepare my face. She just literally started doing my makeup in a really sloppy manner, and very rushed. Another detail I would like to emphasize, she was eating while also doing my makeup. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. She did everything so fast; she pretty much finished a bride's makeup in 30 min. I was shocked by the result! However, I was trying to work with her and trying to guide her to create a look more similar to what I had in mind. After several tries to fix the makeup, I gave up because it was not getting any better. Another issue that I found with her makeup products is the quality of them; it seems to be very cheap makeup. With just a simple touch, the makeup would come off on my fingers and also stained my outfit. She used eyelashes on me that are very thick and don't seem natural at all. The eyelashes were also not really aligned with my real eyelashes, and looked crooked. All of my lines of expression on my face were very emphasized, and I ended up looking older than I actually am. The coverage of the makeup was really poor; I had a small pimple on my face that was still visible after the makeup. After leaving her salon, I literally cried in the car. Besides all the issues I had with my makeup, I was also charged $30 dollars extra on top of the $200 trial price; according to them, this is the new price of the trial, which does not follow my contract. read more

There is not enough I could say about Bridemaid Beautiful!!! They did an absolutely outstanding job with not just me, but every single one of my bridesmaids, mother, mother of the groom, and flower girl! Everyone felt so beautiful after having their hair and makeup done and Bridemaid Beautiful was so flexible in how they could set up in our hotel room. I booked them for my wedding after reading reviews and looking on their website and recognizing a couple people I knew in photos. What I learned later is that they had Olivia, the owner, as a stylist. Olivia was not available for my wedding day so I was placed with Chrissy. Very nice gal, but did not execute at all what I was looking for. My hair literally looked like a rat's nest. She kept telling me it will look better on the wedding day... you know, when we're even more rushed. Not to mention I'm paying $50 for a trial expecting it to look like how it will look on the day of. Not happy. They also use very cheap products from Sally's and it shows. Ended up cancelling them and booking another salon at the last minute since I talked to the owner who didn't provide any solution with my dissatisfaction other than refunding my deposit. read more

I hired the BridesMaid Beautiful team to style myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding and they did a fantastic job! I had a tight wedding day schedule and a large bridal party (9 girls, plus the flower girl), so I was really worried about running over on time. I expressed my concern to Olivia and she assured me that her team would be prepared. She was right! The four stylists (Olivia, Briana, Chrissy and Julie), arrived right on time and immediately started making us look pretty. They moved quickly, but they made sure to give every girl a unique look. They were friendly, patient and fun to be around on the morning of my wedding. Avoiding a salon and having the BridesMaid Beautiful team come to us was one of the smartest wedding decisions I made. Chrissy and her team are absolutely amazing! They traveled up north to my destination wedding and did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, flower girl, moms and of course for me. Throughout the whole process her and Olivia made everything run exceptionally smooth and were so great to work with. I truly have never felt more beautiful in my life! Everyone's hair and makeup looked gorgeous and they really helped us kick the day off right with all the positive and fun energy. I came across Bridesmaid Beautiful for my wedding hair/makeup after the original hair/makeup service I booked stopped answering my emails and calls after I gave them a deposit. I booked with Bridesmaid Beautiful probably just about 2 months before my wedding (which I thought was cutting it pretty close). They were very accommodating and did not give me a hard time about trying to book their services so close to my wedding day. I had my makeup trial with Briana and my hair trial with Julie. I brought pictures of ideas I had about my hair and makeup and they did an awesome job of executing the vision I had of myself for the day of my wedding. They took pictures of both so they would be able to remember what I wanted on the day of my wedding. The day of my wedding Briana, Julie and Lisa came to to my hair, all 5 of my bridesmaids, my mom and my mother-in-law. They were very prompt and arrived at 8am just like they said they would. Everyone's makeup and hair was absolutely flawless!!! No ones makeup ever ran, my lipstick lasted all day (no touch ups needed all day), and my hair lasted through pictures outside by the windy waterfront and through a whole lot of dancing!!! I would recommend Bridesmaid Beautiful for hair and makeup whether it be your wedding, prom, or any other special occasion! Awful is putting it lightly..let me start by saying that they pulled a bait and switch on my sister, the bride. She paid for a trial that was performed by different women than who showed up on the day of her wedding. After refusing to change our appointment time(because it was in the contract) so that my sister could go to church, the stylists showed up late. The make up artist which was an Estee Lauder sales lady, was frazzled and explained that she left her make up kit and was having a hard time due to this. She had to borrow the hairstylist's kit. Even this didn't explain the problems with the application. Our make up was terrible, I looked like a ghost, my mother looked like a geisha, and the bride looked like Ursula. We re-did four of the six girls make up including the bride. One of the girls' lashes fell off before we even left the hotel. The hairstylist knew that we were not satisfied and planned on fixing it because no matter what we said to the make up lady she was just not capable of fixing the issues. They used the cheapest of products, this is NOT professional. They used products from Sally's, not even the professional beauty supply. I am a licensed cosmetologist and MAC Pro myself so I know what is correct and this company is a SCAM! I wrote the company asking for a refund for our make up and received an email back saying that there are NO REFUNDS and that's in their contract. BUYER BEWARE!!!! read more

Overall, not impressed. I got my hair and makeup both done for a wedding for $140. Neither looked like the picture I showed, which wasn't the deal breaker. The deal breaker for me was when my hair was falling down during the reception and my makeup was coming off. The eyeliner they used was smearing across my face and I had to redo my makeup mid reception. Such a bummer. I was also disappointed to see that they used drug store makeup and charged $70; that's probably why it didn't last all night. I really expected a lot more for what I paid. I keep reading great reviews for their services; I'm not sure if I had the inexperienced stylists or what, but I would not recommend nor use them in the future. read more

These ladies were amazing! I was in a bridal party and had gone to the hair trial appointment as well- we had so much fun we didn't want to leave! We had hair, airbrush makeup, and lashes done. The Bridesmaid Beautiful team did a great job and styled us in a way that both matched our individual personalities and also kept us cohesive as a group. . I wish I could fly them out to Boston for my wedding! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who not only wants a team who not only does a fantastic job with hair and makeup, but also is fantastic at making your morning more fun and happy! read more

I hired Bridesmaid Beautiful for hair and airbrush makeup for my wedding this past Saturday. They did SUCH a beautiful job on everyone and they were VERY patient and professional with my mom and future mother in law who were both unsure about what they wanted and initially resistant about the makeup. One of my bridesmaids needed her updo adjusted (she has really, really thick hair and the top sections were not cooperating). They fixed the problem quickly and without making my bridesmaid feel bad about asking. Everyone's makeup looked perfect through the night and we all appreciated the lip glosses they gave us to keep for touch-ups through the day. I LOVED my hair and makeup. With all of the stress leading up to the wedding, I ended up breaking out a few days before, but I just got a couple sneak-peak pictures from our photographer and my skin looks perfect! I highly recommend Bridesmaid Beautiful to any bride looking for a relaxing option for getting ready on their big day. What wonderful people and amazing service!!!! I cannot say enough great things about these ladies. I hired them to do airbrush make-up and updos for myself and my bridesmaids August 4. They came to our hotel room, and were absolutely amazing. Any question I had prior to the wedding day were answered so quickly via email, I did not have any worries. Chrissy is hilarious, and so talented at her trade. My trial was well worth the drive to Shelby Twnshp from Howell, and I felt completely at ease from the minute I met Chrissy. My hair and make-up were perfect, and looked flawless even in 100 degree weather with 90% humidity. Olivia, I believe, was our other stylist that day. She also did an absolutely phenomenal job on my girls. Not only did everyone look amazing, these ladies worked quickly and kept us well ahead of schedule for getting to the church and getting pictures. I was actually able to relax and have fun with my girls for a little while. I am just so completely impressed. It was such a fun way to start my wedding day, and the prices were completely affordable for my tight wedding budget. I am so glad I chose Bridesmaid Beautiful for my event!! read more
