Had the most horrendous experience that I've ever had while getting a massage. I have been here in the past after finding the massage parlor on Groupon. I figured I would give it a try since there was a good deal. The first time I went was a great experience, had no issues and always said I would go back again since they have Groupon deals often. This time was a completely different experience. Scheduling the appointment was easy and hassle free but everything was horrible during the appointment. For starters, the masseuse talked the entire time so I could not even relax or enjoy the spa music that was playing. Secondly, she made weird comments about my body multiple times throughout the service, which made me very uncomfortable. Also, I asked for light pressure but she was still very aggressive. During the massage, she made a comment about making sure to a good job so she could get a good tip. And finally, after the massage, she asked how much I wanted to leave for a tip and I told her the amount and she suggested a higher amount. Seriously...Who does that? After the horrible service I received, you should be grateful to receive a tip at all. It seems that I am in even worse condition than I was before the massage. When I take the time to book an appointment and pay for a service, I expect to be treated a certain way and this experience did not at all meet my expectations. I am completely baffled and I will never go back to this establishment again nor do I recommend them to anyone else. read more

I go here almost once a week lol. I know for sure I go at least 3 times a month. I like massages and am always on the lookout for good massage places. They accept walk-ins but I usually like to call and tell them I'm on my way. I've never had to wait. I get the 60 min swedish massage. There are two workers usually there, Ada and Alice. I know they do not speak the best english so it may be hard for newcomers to understand. They also offer foot reflexology. I haven't done it here just because I want it to be more focused on my back. If there is an area you preferred not to be targeted, I would let them know beforehand. Otherwise, they do try to give you a full body massage. They also do really firm massages. I prefer a firm hand so I do not mind. I would let them know if it is too firm for you. I read from another yelp review that it was too rough for her. Their english isn't the best so I would say what kind of pressure you like from the beginning. I am so happy there is a place on the island that offers great service for a good price! I was not happy at all leaving this place last week. First off I could hear the lady doing my massage pull out her phone and use it several times during my massage. Not sure what reason she has to be on her phone while in the room with me when I was head faced down with less clothing on...and at another point in time during the massage took a phone call. After my massage I decided to give her $2 less than 20% due to what had happened and she did not like that at all. She insisted I give her the 20% twice and then after I agreed she insisted I add ANOTHER dollar to the tip multiple times. I thought this VERY inappropriate so I stuck with the 20% and she again insisted multiple times until her coworker said something to her she let it be. I only came to this place because the original place I go to in Galveston was closed. I would not recommend coming to get a massage at this place until you want to risk the chance of feeling very uncomfortable. Other than that the massage was ok. I don't usually write reviews but I think it's important people know something like this ahead of time given the circumstances and price. read more

I was looking for a place where I could get a massage that was pretty reasonable in price. I am super happy with my experience. They were all very nice very professional and when I got on the table I feel very comfortable relaxed and ready to get a great massage. I got the 90 minute Swedish massage. I am a cycling instructor and I use my body daily so sometimes it's good to get some hands on treatment. I definitely will be returning again when I'm in Galveston. I was in town for about 5 weeks and really wanted a good massage. This is not your "typical" chain massage establishment. The 60 minute Combo Massage takes place in a room with 3-4 other beds, lighting is dim and you leave your clothes on (I recommend wearing tank top and Capri leggings). They ensure you are covered and comfortable. I loved every minute, especially the time spent on my scalp and feet! If you are sensitive to pressure I'd recommend booking a Swedish massage. Melody gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had and I've had quite a few massages. She gave me great, firm pressure the way I like it and she really knew what she was doing. I wish I could take her back o California with me! Very very highly recommend. The only thing I would say is she let her know if you have any areas she should focus on or any injury areas as she didn't ask me in the beginning. Also, in regards to the one bad review by a pregnant lady, I would only go to massage places that specifically cater to prenatal clients. If your in Galveston on vacation or you live here this is the best place for a massage

I came in and specifically said I needed a NECK massage because I'm having lots of pain there. I communicated this to a woman and then when I'm already half naked and on the table a man walks in and just starts. I felt very uncomfortable I didn't get to even meet the person actually massaging me and be asked if it's okay he is a man. More importantly- he didn't speak English! I came in for neck massage only and he was doing everything but my neck! Half way (after waiting to see if he would do it) I stopped and told him I would like him to focus on my neck. He mumbled multiple times like he was confused and so I repeated myself over and over and he finally said "I'll get to it". He never did. He massaged my neck for a total of 5 minutes out of an hour massage. I feel very frustrated and uncomfortable that I can't communicate when a MAN massaging me, not to mention I came home and still had neck pain since it didn't even get worked on. The entire process felt extremely rushed and rough- he hit my head over and over when he was doing my shoulders. Overall very dissatisfied. Deep tissue can still be relaxing and this was anything but. Not to mention I didn't get what I came in for!! I respect the Asian culture but you cannot let someone in who can't communicate in English with you. I should have spoke up but once again very caught off guard and rushed. read more

If I could give them -5 stars, I would. I'm from out of town and came down to Galveston Beach for my 4th of July holiday. They were able to get me in ASAP & accepted me as a walk in, but immediately things were a bit off. I haven't had too many massages so I wasn't quite sure what to do when I got there. I also told them I'm 11 weeks pregnant. She led me to a Very Dark room & left me there without telling me what to do. And you can bet, when you ask for a full body massage, that's what you're going to get! She left no part of my body to her imagination. I told her 3 different times that she was hurting me (the massage was WAY too rough) & she never let up. And she twisted my body in ways a pregnant woman should probably not be twisted. Then had the audacity to call me out while I was walking out the front door that she works for tips... Not only was it a waste of money, but now I can't touch my back without cringing from pain. read more
