Wow! Clean, quiet, quality mani pedi where they took their time, great mimosa, new massage chairs that work and a free gift for coming in! Tools were clean and sterile. We'll be back. Needed a change from our regular place by Target. 4/9/24 Vivian and Kathy were super! Very relaxing and shiny buffed nails for us both. We get the $55 ice dancer pedicure, plus basic manicure. $5 extra for buffed shiny now. No more keeping track of the cards, now they have an automated rewards system. 2/25/25. Came here on a Sunday because my regular place was closed. Six employees all busy, but nobody waiting. Asked us to pick color. Sat in pedicure chair and waited. I think they should at least put some water in tub...my toes are cold. Lol. Smells like a sewer backed up in here. TV not working. Music is playing. Its been 12 minutes now....finally getting water! Workers talk back and forth constantly. Chairs are better than most places. I did like that they picked up my shoes and took them to the drying stand for me. Availability is a big plus. They also offer a drink; water, coke, or champagne. There was a mixup on what my friend and I ordered. Took a manager to charge me correctly. Outstanding service at this very clean salon. Linda did my gel mani & Coung (sp?) did my pedicure. Both did a great job & finished at the same time. 10% discount for a Yelp check in. Reasonable prices, especially for a tourist town. I was a walk in & they took me right away. My only change would be hotter water, rather than lukewarm. I got a bikini wax. First of all, almost all the enployees are vietnamese, half of them don't speak english. Second of all, the waxing is half done, when i check after we done, it was so messy, i couldn't see of there is a still hair or not. After i took a shower, the wax was half done. Came here during Christmas, place was super packed and I didn't have an appointment but Lily squeezed me in. I didn't wait that long (considering I did not have an appointment) she gave me a 10% off for waiting and a Korean green tea lotion. I had a full set done with chrome and I liked how she shaped my nails. Two weeks later and it's still looking good so I went back for the second time for a refill. The place is ok, can use some dusting on the counter(hence the 3 stars) but great selection of powder and gel colors. Lily works super fast, doesn't talk much but she gets the job done. I heard Ken is also great. Will try him next time and a pedicure. read more

I visited during Spring Break 2022 and needed to get my nails done. I decided to come here on Thursday and called to see if they could see me right away. I was told to come in at 1:30. I came in and everyone was quite busy working with customers. I told them I had called and was told to come in at 1:30. They immediately asked me to pick a color. After I decided the color, I sat down and waited for about 15-20 minutes before I was asked to have a seat at a nail station. My technician, Van seemed very nice, and after showing her a picture of what I wanted, she felt very confident she could deliver. As more customers walked in, Van seemed like she needed to rush. She worked on my nails hurriedly as more and more customers arrived. It didn't bother me at first because she was doing a really good job until she slighted me on the accent nail. I had to tell her that the glitter was not there anymore and that she needed to add more. The part that did annoy me was that at the very end, my hands were dusty and she told me I could go. I asked her about cleaning up my hands and showed her the ashyness. She said that I needed the oil and she proceeded to literally swipe my nails with one swipe really fast and told me to go wash them while she immediately addressed and seated another customer. Overall, I would come back and maybe select another technician that I noticed didn't seem to be in a hurry because of the number of customers coming in, and the nail service she was providing was awesome! read more

Customer service could have been better. My husband and I came in and weren't greeted right away. We were visiting Galveston on vacation. After about 10 minutes they had my husband go wait I. The pedicure chair but no one didn't start on him for another 15 mins. I was told to sit at a station and the lady kept getting up doing other random things. Went to get a pedicure here while on a business trip and had some downtime. The place is what you would except from a nail salon in a strip mall. The staff were friendly and attentive with locals and travelers alike getting their nails done. I do wish that the color selection was arranged by color, was hard to find what I wanted. My boyfriend and I came here while on vacation in Galveston. We chose two different pedicures yet they charged me twice for my more expensive one, instead of his $25 basic pedicure. They use literal kitchen timers while doing pedicures, which I thought was really annoying because it kept going off during the pedicure, I assume telling them to move on to the next part. My toes look like i did them myself. Worst part of it all, they caused my boyfriends toe to become infected. Not at all worth the money we spent. read more

I got there at opening and had to wait about 20-30 minutes. I wasn't too worried because we had time before our boarding time for our cruise, but there was only one staff member there and an influx of customers came and everyone had to wait except one person who had an appointment. One guy left because he didn't want to wait. I was told by the lady who had an appointment that the staff travels in from Houston. Finally they all came, which was about 10 staff members. I got the express pedicure due to just wanting a quick touch up for the cruise. I was pleased with the service and my toes still look good two weeks later. I took away one star due to the wait. read more

Such a nice little place I found while I was here for work. Came in for a shellac pedicure, it was $28. Definitely a great location near the beach, very relaxing. Most of the nail salons I go to have tv or music going and this place was just so peaceful and with candles lit throughout the salon. We had to serve ourselves completely: The cold towels were not stocked. The razors were empty. My wife sat in the relaxation lounge for 40 minutes, but no one ever came to provide her neck warmer. She had to get up and dig through cabinets to find it herself. (As did I) I had to walk the halls in my robe just to find an employee to restock the cold towels and razors, and again just to get our water and champagne refilled. After our massage, the amenities were empty all over again. The facilities are broken. The steam room was dark with lights out, and one of the showers did not work. The staff was rude and incompetent. When we first tried to walk in, we were told it was "too much of a hassle." We called twice to schedule and clarify our order, and they still got it wrong when we arrived the next day. When we finally left, not one person at the front desk acknowledged us, said thank you, or asked how our service was. Our masseuse, Miss Holly, was the only professional person in the entire spa. She deserves to work at a better establishment. This spa is part of the larger Hotel Galvez, and our entire stay was a catastrophe that brought my new wife to tears. The management is rude, the rooms are broken, and the billing is deceptive. We are deeply saddened that a place that was once special to us (I proposed here: https://youtu.be/Ldo23DDiyn4) has completely collapsed. Do not waste your money here. We expect corporate management to take extraordinary steps to make this right.

I am a nail owner too ! By chance I stop by at this salon during on business trip . Incredible ! Incredible! My manicure was just smooth , I liked it : beautifully brushed, intricate AND lasted NEARLY 4 WHOLE weeks. It held up so well and I will absolutely be returning if I come back next year . I am so shameful to compare my salon with Bell Nails & Spa : We are not professional ! I learn a lesson in cleanliness , sanitation . read more

This hidden gem is the best nail salon in Galveston, TX, and it is made better by Rose being there. If you want a perfect nail job ask for her. The salon is clean, the prices are good and the people are friendly. Rose is great she knows what she is doing and always does it right. There may be bigger and perttier places but in the end its the service that counts and this place has it. read more

Very good in Shellac designs , acrylic and Pink & White ! The price is fairly right compare with a typical salon in Hollywood , CA . I really impressed with the salon sanitation and cleanliness ! Highly recommended ! read more

This salon does NOT clean their tools; there are brushes at the sink and in the bathroom that sit in some kind of liquid that everyone uses and puts back. Pika used my dirty toe water to clean ALL tools used on my pedicure. The bowl used for the pedicure was NOT disinfected after She had to redo the color because she used white polish first to paint my toe nails yellow; it was all clumpy. She couldn't put my flip flops on after she was done. Ugh! $30 for basic Lynn was very accommodating but the tools she used were NOT clean either; no change of drill tips or cleaning of drill bits. The emery board was beyond old. She had to redo a new nail because it was on crooked. They charge you $10 for each 3D nail design on finger. Really? Because putting a glob of paint is more expensive than painting a design! Nope. Same thing if not easier. (Should just be $5 each) They gave me a new set when I told them I just wanted to soak off the old color and put a new dip color, when I noticed they both acted like I didn't tell them this. Lynn and Pika didn't clean excess paint off from edges after and I was tired of telling them what to do. $70 nails After nails were done, I had to wait 10 minutes for Lee (owner) to do design; she is real nice 2.45 hours later... I'm done $100 for this service plus tip.. PLUS $3.30 service fee for using credit card Hahn will be the tech I see next. Personable. PAY CASH OR LOCAL CHECK ONLY to avoid fee I DO LIKE MY NAILS ... flaws and all But dang ... BE CLEAN

November 4, 2021…read more FIRST IMPRESSIONS... DONT SEE Liam It's been years since I've been here. I like to support local businesses so, I share the love and return; today that was a mistake. Appt at 1pm w/Mr Liam for full set and pedicure. Note: when I made appointment I said what I wanted then. I walked in at 1 and every tech had a customer...NO ONE acknowledged me; I just stood there. After a few minutes, I spoke to the only gentleman I saw working and asked if he was Liam? He smiled and said nothing. I stood there longer and since no one directed me to a chair, I went and used Walmart's RR. Came back...STILL NO acknowledgment or direction. Literally, not one staff member said anything to me, so I went to pick color for toes. I was kinda wondering what was wrong; I didn't look my best so did they think I was a bum or something?!! Anyways, I looked at the one area where the color was (not a big selection) and several of the bottle caps had caked on paint and couldn't be opened to test. After I found a toe color, I stood there again and STILL no one assisted or spoke to me. So, I asked the techs, where did they want me? (pedi chairs had no cup holders and the arms were dirty) A few minutes later, a young guy came out from the back area to do my pedicure. I relaxed but, I was just NOT feeling the love or appreciation as a (new) customer. I felt discriminated against, for lack of a better word. Before pedicure was done, Liam came over, smiled and started removing my old set. Told him I wanted acrylic color powder and a new set. He smiled. Pedicure guy told him what I said (I think??) When I got to Liam's station, I asked if he had a darker nail color from the one I had picked (mind you, I only had 1 pallet to choose from) I wanted a color to match my feet? He looked at feet and brought me 1 another polish that was basically the same color as I had. Soo, no color match for me today. (first time in 25 years that has happened) after Liam was filing, I noticed he wasn't putting a new set on, so, I asked if he was going to? He spoke to a tech and she said, you want overlay? I said, no mam I told him new set "color" acrylic powder. 2 very nice nail tech ladies had to translate more to him and it was all very awkward and uncomfortable. One of the ladies said, "you had gel before and that's what he do for you." So, now, it's too late to do "acrylic powder" so, I'm stuck with a gel color that doesn't match my toes. I was like, now, I'm just fed up but I keep my emotions in check and say, I'm sorry, no mam...I never once said, gel or overlay. Immediately after. , Liam got more aggressive with my hands. Still never speaking to me directly so, I stayed quiet until the next step was needed and then I had the ladies translate the shape I wanted AND to clean the paint off the sides when he was done. Well, because he seems to be in his feelings...instead of using the paint remover and brush to get paint off cuticles, he got the large emory board and filed the paint off the sides...which CUT a few cuticles and hurt. I'm just about to cry because...I want to leave. But, before he finished I told him, thank you. I don't know why I did that, I was just soo embarrassed to be there. When he was done w/me he abruptly got up and walked away. I went to counter to pay...every tech had a customer, so, he had to come back to check me out. He got the calculator and showed me $73; I said I think it's $68? (new set $40 and basic pedicure $28) See photo He said nothing. The lady heard and confirmed $68. I tipped $10 Other notable negatives: 1) the staff doesn't clean/wipe "nail" tables off after each customer. 2) pedicure chairs don't have drink holders and are not wiped down after each customer. Non communication. Cuticle cuts. Paint left on fingers. Tried to over charge. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

My feet weren't smooth at all, just soft from soaking in the water. After my manicure, my hands were left ashy because I told him I was sensitive to the lotion they use and requested oil instead. He repeated 'oil' but continued the process without giving me a hand massage. As for my brows, the older woman with the bob haircut supposedly 'arched' them, but my left brow is neat and cute while the right one is shaped but not neat she didn't bother to pluck the stray hairs or anything Overall, this was a horrible experience, if I only give a 1 rating because the younger lady that works there now is nice, communicative and understanding.
