We tried Galveston Seafood & Grill on a Friday night, but the wait was about 1 hour and 45 minutes so we decided to come back Sunday when it wasn't as busy. Definitely a better move! The restaurant itself is fairly small and a little dark, but they have lights on the tables which helps and gives it a cozy vibe. Our waitress, Maddy, was so sweet and welcoming! great service makes such a difference! We started with the gator bites and they were so good! Great flavor and the sauces paired perfectly with them. For my meal, I ordered "The Bayou" and it was packed with flavor. It wasn't the crawfish étouffée I'm used to, but honestly, it was still delicious. The catfish served with it was cooked perfectly! There were so many other items on the menu I wanted to try, so we'll definitely be back to work our way through more of it.

Passing by and upon searching for a good place to eat. This was one of the businesses that was not closed in mid hours. Place looked different and upon entering, very clean. Place was busy but fast to great and seat. Food was delicious! Menu had lots of selection. Great customer service. Will definitely stop again.

Gator! As a girl who loves her gator, we always get the platter and grilled shrimp on the side. Friendly staff, delicious food and great atmosphere!

Galveston has hit another home run! The south side location is now open and we've been there 4 times. The food is fantastic, just like the north location. The dining room is completely redecorated, and it's nice. It is a little dark, but that's ok. I have done the senior menu, the Cajun pasta, and the shrimp boil. All were wonderful. And don't forget, with the senior menu, you get free dessert! Score! This location has beignets, which the north location doesn't. They are fantastic! You need to try them! All the staff have been great, so it's time for you to make a trip to Galveston!

The beef quality was superb--thick-cut, tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned without overpowering its natural flavor. While the edges were cooked slightly beyond medium due to the uneven cut, that's a very minor critique. The grilled asparagus was delicious, and the green chile hominy was absolutely amazing. Overall, I would give Perini Ranch Steakhouse a 98 out of 100. The food, atmosphere, and quality were exceptional, making it one of the best of the steakhouses I've experienced.

We took the onions and cucumbers off our salad due to dietary issues and that left us with lettuce, mushrooms, and dressing. Our burger was the best part. It was cooked well, and the bun was soft. The strawberry shortcake was disappointing. The fruit was stewed and the biscuits were hard with just room temp heavy cream to offset the temperature of the fruit. For ambiance, it was nothing to write home about. Very busy and very loud, but it was a Saturday evening so that was to be expected. What I didn't expect was the lack of air conditioning in July. It was over 100 degrees that day, and it was cooler outside. Unacceptable for Texas in July when you're seating tables 3' from each other. Our server was good. She was attentive, and kept our water glasses filled. We may try again once the weather cools down.

The interior is that frigid, lifeless faux fancy industrial aesthetic that chills your senses and has no character of its own. The menu is what you expect. Nothing special or original just benign takes on traditional fare, like Blackened Ribeyes. We were In Abilene because my family gathered to watch my nephew's football debut at Hardin-Simmons University. My wife ordered the Caesar Salad and Truffle fries. The salad was limp, and the dressing was tangy like it was mixed with Dijon mustard Her Truffle Fries had an okay flavor. The dipping sauces were good but nothing great but the nail in the coffin was the fries were cold. Not cold as in sitting in the warmer cold, we're talking OUT ON THE COUNTER FOR 10 MINUTES OR MORE COLD!! I got the Waygu Smash burger. The burger patties, pickles, and everything inside were good but it was served on a fancy bun that was also cold. Not sitting on the counter for 10 minutes cold, we're talking RIGHT OUT OF THE FRIDGE COLD. Fancy buns should be lightly toasted to make the dense bread bearable. It totally failed my bun to juiciness ratio, and to top it off my fries were also COLD. My daughter got the Ahi Tuna Ponzo. I didn't taste it because I was busy eating my cold bun, cold fries. Plus my wife's Dijon Caesar Salad because she despises mustard. But she seemed to like it, that's why this review is three stars instead of two. She said it was "Slightly nutty and the vinaigrette is sharp and fresh without being overwhelming the tuna is seasoned nicely and it's a fatty cut not fishy at all." Listen, you could say "if it's cold send it back. Make them fix it." But the truth is that it doesn't matter. They sent out two batches of cold truffle fries (my brother in law also ordered some), my cold fries, a fancy bun that was right out of the fridge, and Caesar dressing spiked with Dijon mustard. Sending it back just would have made the experience worse, like being in a chilly hell where all the heat has been stolen so all food is served COLD.

(chips were pretty good) The salmon was overcooked and the grilled broccoli practically raw. This meal was so underwhelming it reminded me of maybe something you might pick up in a grocery store in that section where people who don't cook go to get ready-made meals. It was right at that level. Service- Two or three stars. Mediocre. I've been here once before, btw, and that experience was probably an overall 3-star. This time was right before a show at the convention center next door. You'd think that maybe the restaurant would have been prepared for a crowd? Apparently not, since our food was slow to come (the table next to us had both of their steaks comp'ed due to slow service and not being cooked as asked). When I asked for a wine list, the server stated that he would "try to find one", and it took awhile. And the restaurant was probably only about 60% full. I mean, if I'm going to wait forever for my food, at least let me be drinking while I wait! The appetizer arrived with our food, btw. Love that... Ambiance: Five Stars. The restaurant looks nice. Get your act together, Smokehouse! It would be nice if we could count on a nice meal before a show without having to Uber to and from the hotel/venue for it.

We looked at the menu online prior to coming and knew that we both wanted to try the cheese steak, so this was a bit of a bummer. Listen, I get it the idea of having a different menu for brunch, but why not post it on your website and state the specific times for each menu? Also, what difference does 30 minutes make? They couldn't fire up the grill 30 minutes early? It wasn't very busy. Anyways, now for the good part: When we were finally allowed to order our sandwiches they were absolutely amazing. The steak was high quality and the gooey cheese had a ton of flavor. What wasn't amazing however was the bill. $20 for a sandwich and a small portion of fries in Abilene is absolute insanity. What's even crazier is we were charged extra for a side of ranch! I understand you get what you pay for, and there's no arguing the quality of the sandwich was top notch, but at the end of the day it's still just a sandwich. If you're good with dropping nearly $60 (including tip) on lunch, then this is your spot. For me, I'll take my business elsewhere.
