Normally, I have to look online for old games and hope that they work by the time they reach me in the mail. But now, I will call this place first to see if they have a game in stock...even if it means traveling a couple of hours. So, if you're looking for that old holiday Barbie from 1992 that your parents never got you, chances are that it could be here. Some sound barriers, acoustic panels, or better room separation would make a huge difference. I also wish the store had a clearer focus. They seem to be trying to do a little bit of everything, but some areas feel underdeveloped. They are not really a strong destination for comics; the miniature painting supplies are limited, the other items need better category separation, and the TTRPG offerings could be stronger. Their Sunday D&D one-shots also sell out quickly, and they have in-store gaming waiting lists, which shows there is demand, but not enough space or availability. Pricing can also be on the high side for certain items compared to other options. The store is expanding, which could be a great opportunity. However, I hope the expansion improves the actual play experiences and gives more attention to TTRPG events, sound control, and product focus. More space alone will not solve the issue if the store continues trying to cover too many categories without doing any one of them especially well.
