I was out there for a tournament they held. Had to register and pick up a few discs. Very very helpful with getting me the perfect disc. Then they went above and beyond when they heard I was sleeping in my car, (I traveled there for the tournament) they gave me a safe place in their parking lot and ran me out power and hooked me up with wifi!! Awesome group of people. They owner is really kind and a cool guy to chat with. They have a huge selection of discs and a great online store! Let me preface this review with a few things: 1. I do not play disc golf 2. This store may warrant 5 stars but due to #1 I feel I cannot give it a 5 I popped over to Hazy Shade one evening with a friend to purchase a gift certificate for Christmas. I've never been to this part of Dayton before and in the dark of the evening in Fall it looked mildly sketchy and quite similar to some of my old haunts in the CLE. I was glad I had a friend with me on the visit. Hazy Shade is HUGE! and brightly-lit. I was welcomed upon entry and quickly helped. I purchased the gift card and then wandered around a bit. There were tons of DISCS! I mean, I had no idea how many options there would be. I'm guessing this is why my brother-in-law loves this store. They also offered T-shirts with disc-golf company logos and Hazy Shade logo. There were some shoe options and a really nice-looking pair of Keen's. I'm sure this isn't the most helpful review, but if you're a disc golfer or need a gift for someone who disc golfs, I think this is the place for you! read more

I've only been in twice before (today will be #3). They are helpful when you ask questions, but otherwise left me to browse at my own pace which I loved. Hazy Shade is THEE Mecca of Disc Golf shops, I love coming out here from Michigan and there's just no other place like it. The selection of discs is the best you'll find from all the top Disc Golf Companies and all categorized by Driver, Mid Ranges, and putters. Lighter weights have their own section too. The usually have a good selection of used discs at great prices and any apparel or equipment you could ever need they have. They have a putting area too that's open at their discretion. My only gripe is that the prices are all retail and I rarely see them post sales. Not a big deal, but I'd like to save a few bucks and not be tempted to shop online. I can't speak to the other sections of the store i.e smoking related items. read more

What an awesome selection of new and used disc. They will have what you're looking for and at a great price. They have all the accessories you could think of. Helpful people for beginners or people who have been playing awhile. Went out with my new disc and did exactly what they said it would. The building itself is wonderful and easy to locate. You can't beat the indoor putting and driving lane. Also they have a rewards program that will be just another perk of returning to this awesome store. They are rude and stupid but they also have extremely shady business practices. For example, if you want to pay with a credit card, they demand ID, which is a blatant violation of the merchant agreement. You have been warned. read more

I would not recommend this place unless you want to buy a frisbee. I went to the store looking for a detox to clear my system for a drug test. I talked to a couple employees and they recommended a STRIP NC 7 day detox kit for $80 they promised me it would work saying they have customers come in every month or so and get it for their drug tests but of course it was all lies. I followed the directions completely, ate nothing but chicken and broccoli, exercised daily, and drank the correct amount of water, and after the 7 days took the test. Well I completely failed the test, for how much I paid I should've passed. I tried to tell the store but they don't care, they only wanted the one sell from me I guess. So my advise is STAY AWAY, find some other place that won't lie through their teeth in order to make a sale. Don't even go there for a frisbee honestly, you can get everything there for much cheaper and with much better customer service elsewhere. read more
