I'm just going to say straight out that this will be a MUCH shorter review than I usually write - because so far I've only ever bought sweet corn to eat! I plan to go back in September, to find some fall plantings for my yard. But back to the corn. Oh my ... it is truly amazing and I grew my own back in the day, and thought it was something special ;) This stuff is addictive! The nice farmer (owner?) who sold me my first six ears pulled one at random from the pile on the table, peeled it down a ways and said, "Taste this!" OK, so raw... but wow. Sugar wishes it was this sweet! Then he chuckled and told me, "You'll be back", and sure enough I've been twice in the past two weeks. I'll surely update my review after I've purchased some plants.

Sells invasive plants like Butterfly bush. Not enough natives. Nice employees, but doesn't make up for the poor selection.

Noticed they sold plants and mulch which is a convenient alternative to going to Lowes or Home Depot.

We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.

When we called to ask what happened, the woman insisted she had spoken with us and that we approved the change- this never happened. We checked our phone log and only had one missed call from the shop, no voicemail. She also kept saying, "But you ordered sympathy flowers and we made them Mother's Day flowers" as if that justified the change. It was for Mother's Day-we liked that particular arrangement and the box it came with. Realistically, I think they mixed us up with another customer, which would've been understandable. Mistakes happen. But her insistence that she spoke to my husband, so much so that he had to grab the phone and say to her that they did not speak and our call log clearly proving otherwise was frustrating and bizarre. When I asked to speak with the owner, she said the owner was having surgery, which felt like an attempt to make us feel guilty for escalating the issue. When we asked for a full refund, she said we'd have to bring the flowers back for that and that she could only offer a partial refund. At that point, it became clear she was not interested in making things right. We won't be ordering from here again-not because of the mix-up, but because of the employee's unprofessional and dismissive attitude. Mistakes happen, but a lack of integrity and willing to own a mistake is unacceptable.

Mike of Creative Sheds was responsive throughout the process, revising the quote as I changed size, style, and features. More importantly, when Leroy came out for a site inspection, our discussion convinced me that with a bit of path clearance (scrub tree removal) they could pre-assemble and deliver the shed. Which cut about 25% off the price. The shed was delivered yesterday, about a month after finalizing the deal. The delivery man (Keith) was quite expert at moving (with a "shed mule") the 10' x 12' shed the 200 feet from street to shed location. He was creative steering around tree branches (minimizing trimming). Best of all, he avoided a grape vine that was in the pathway. The shed is solidly built, using good SPF framing and solid plywood. Nice touches include magnetic door holds (keep door from closing in the wind), metal plate on front door ledge, and thermal barrier on roof underside. Highly recommended!
