I can't believe this business has no reviews on here... I was looking for something original and exciting for my sons 8th birthday party, he loves video games, and I thought there must be something out there that caters to kids (and big kids) that love video games... I found GAME RUNNER while searching online, and believe me, I called SEVERAL companies. Game Runner was by far the most competitive price, and the only company I called that could confidently answer all of my questions. I believe the owner himself answered the phone each time I called. The booking process was simple- a simple credit card deposit, and the balance is paid about a week prior to the event. GAME RUNNER arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled start time, and set up. Once they were set up, we couldn't keep the kids out of there! It was a bit weird hosting a kids party- with no kids!! They were all safely tucked away inside the truck playing video games! There were 3 team members that came with the truck- and they asked what type of games we were OK with (shooting, blood, etc, etc) They sanitized the kids hands when they arrived inside the truck- and the inside of the truck was immaculate!! It was well air conditioned and ventilated and lit like an arcade- super cool! I could not recommend GAME RUNNER more highly, Every parent at the party remarked how great it was, and the kids couldn't stop talking about it at school the day after the party - Success! read more

Cannot recommend Gamer Runner and their fabulous staff any higher!! With time running out to plan my sons 11th birthday party during a crazy time Game Runner stepped up and knocked it out of the park!! They were very easy to contact and communicate with. They were willing to race from a previous job straight to my house so the boys could have extra time to play. The truck was fabulous (highly recommend the VR experience as even my mother-in-law loved it!!) and all the kids couldn't get enough. Again the staff was courteous and professional and made sure everyone was safe during the party! WARNING: this company will ask for full payment before they have done their job. And they ask for cash (wonder if that is an IRS tax invasion scheme). Then they will not comply with what you paid them to do. DO NOT PAY THEM BEFORE THEY HAVE DONE THE JOB. But my best recommendation is just not to hire them at all. I hired this company for my sons birthday party. When they showed up he told me he wanted to set up on the street, my response was I had space on the side for him to park the trailer. He told me when wouldn't park in my backyard because he would have to go underneath 50ft high trees and was scared to ruin his antennas. All he had to do was come in at an angle to avoid a branch that hung lower, and he would be in the clearing from damaging his "antenna". The kid they sent with the trailer said no, that he will only do it in the front of my house. I once again told him no, that that was putting the children at rush of getting run over. He did not care. He said other parents do it all the time. Excuse me if Game Runner and other parents don't mind putting children's lives at risk but I will not. So the kid left. A minute later the owner of Game Runner called me to tell me I would still have to pay him in full I explained to him the situation and he said it was up to the discretion of his employee whether they wanted to park in the backyard or not and that his employee did not want to. This "owner" leaves his company's handlings to the discretion of a child because that is who he sent to my house. Gamer Runner did not care about my child's birthday party being ruined! But not only that he still demanded complete payment, even though they were not properly equipped to entertain my party. I have been doing kid birthday parties for the last 15 years, and this is the first time I have ever had an issue or seen a business owner have complete lack of care on how he treats his customers. Thank God I had another entertainment company there, who not only showed up an hour earlier but stayed an extra hour to make up for what Game Runner did. So at the end another company made my son happy and his birthday perfect! Not Game Runner! Luckily, I did not pay them and they were not able to rob me of my money. read more

I have to say that Game Runner is great. It's a wonderful and different idea for the "older" children (good for adults too). I will say that they really are not for online play but that is ok because if you are having a party then you want the kids to play together. They have plenty of game choices and the two different trailers give you options. We went with the smaller trailer. It was clean and temperature controlled. They arrived a few minutes early for setup Wich was perfect. They also required all the kids to use hand sanitizer which is great in this day and age. Price for what you get (we just rented the truck, no add-ons) is decent. The two gentlemen that came were extremely nice and helpful with the kids. The only thing in would like to make everyone aware of is if you us their services please keep in mind it is the trailer AND a truck that needs to park. This means you loose parking for guest potentially. I totally recommend Game Runner and will probably rent again but with the bigger trailer. read more

I went to a birthday party and game runner was entertaining. There is only one WiFi network which makes everyone's gameplay glitchy and laggy. I was playing Fortnite and there was such a big lag that you will instantly die or get killed. There was only Xboxes and Nintendo switches, (no other console). Every game was lagging and it was a bad gameplay experience. I recommend not choosing this gaming truck for a birthday or just a nice gameplay with your friends. I cannot say enough about how blown away we were with Game Runner. The excellent customer service began even before we booked the game truck and proceeded throughout every second of the event. They have an outstanding rapport with guests of any age. Every single person who went anywhere near the game truck was thoroughly impressed with everything from the treatment they received, to the cleanliness of all the equipment, and the wide selection of engaging games. We hired them for my daughter's 12th birthday party two weeks ago, and I am still getting praise from guests about what a wonderful time they had in the game truck.
