Negative 100 stars. This business is the worst customer service, and worst experience I have ever had anywhere. Took him months to even "fix" my ipad screen that shattered. He said he fixed it and when I went to turn it on while I was still there, the button got stuck so he obviously didn't put the screen on correctly and it wouldn't even turn on. How he could hand me the ipad and flat out lie to me while I was standing there looking at him showing him it's not turning on.... I don't know. He's disgusting, I argued with him for several minutes before I finally left without it working and had to threaten to Sue him because he refused to give me the $400 back to me! Bought an Apple Watch from this guy, paid Apple to check if it was stolen and indeed it was. Took it back in and the guy traded me out with his own watch that he had on. Never unlocked it and I could never use it. He wouldn't take a refund. Very shady, I would bet over half of their inventory is stolen goods. read more

Make sure you call before you drive here to make sure they're open! We drove 40 minutes to come, and another party had drove over an hour from GR to come here. It was 4:25 when we arrived, no sign on the door about closing early, just a sign listing their hours (open til 5). I tried calling, no answer, door was locked but all of the open signs were on. read more

Look, I get why other reviewers have issues with this store. The prices are expensive (fair, in my opinion, but expensive) and the owner is a bit curt and to the point, which can be off putting (especially for people who aren't willing to admit that they don't know as much as they think they know) But at the end of the day, I took my computer to another repair shop in town, who charged me less to look at it, but couldn't figure out what was wrong. So if you want to get what you pay for and you want the job done right, go to Ian. You will leave with your rig in the best shape it has ever been in, and honestly what more could you want? read more

We went into GameGo Computers to look for an Ethernet card for my gaming PC, and the man who spoke with us was very up front about what parts he had in stock and when we asked if he had the one we were looking for he said that he did not and also that we most likely wouldn't be able to find it in Mount Pleasant. He was very honest but tried to be as helpful as possible. We perused the rest of the store and they sell a lot of old media - video games from Intellivision and Atari to Xbox Ones as well as old movies and guides. Some things seemed a little pricey, but on the whole most things seemed fairly priced and genuine. I would recommend this store to folks in this area looking for a good "gently used" experience. read more

Took it in because the back hinge of my laptop was broken. Took him over 2 weeks to fix. When I finally got my laptop home it wouldn't turn on and still won't. I have to take it somewhere else to get fixed. Would recommend going anywhere else. read more

Game go computers has absolutely terrible service, they do whatever they can to scam the customers, and I had an awful experience with them! I had brought in my PS4 for them to fix and they charged me 100$. A few weeks went on and I had not heard back so I went back today to pick it up and they basically said sorry we tried to fix it but we can't unless you pay us more money! Ian has performed multiple repairs for me, always straightforward and honest. Some people don't want to hear the truth and then they get upset and act like little babies not getting their way, those are probably the ones that gave GameGo bad reviews, it has happened to me in my business. Someone wants something for nothing, don't get it, and give you a bad review for being honest with them - telling them you want to be paid for your work when they think you should do it free. Before heading to this place to get your device repaired, you should be aware that you are dealing with a con-artist that makes a living by ripping people off. Although I've never used the stores services, I'm a major seller of used TV boards and components on Ebay. Ian (I'm not sure if this is the owner's name or simply the name used to purchase a board from me) purchased a working used circuit board from me recently then returned the broken one from his customer's TV in an attempt to get a refund. Ebay has decided the case in his favor despite my attempts to show them evidence of Ian's wrongdoings. I've been in touch with multiple other vendors who have had similar experiences with him. I can only assume that the same types of things are taking place with his local customers. Maybe this review and a report to the BBB and FBI internet crimes division will help talk a little sense into Ian. One can only hope. Had my iPhone 6 screen replaced here and they must use low quality products. I can't see my screen in portrait orientation with sunglasses on. 3 days after having my phone repaired I received a message that my device was locked and the message wanted me to send an email to appledevicehelp@gmail.net, someone hijacked my phone and wanted money so I could unlock my phone. It might be a coincidence, but very suspicious.. I did not pay, so I had to restore my phone and I lost everything!!! read more

I recently sent this company a couple of consoles to repair for me and when they finished he refused to return the repaired units. Now they are even refusing to allow me to pay, I was told that they were going to keep my systems and I keep the money for the repairs. The game systems are worth more now that they are fixed. I cant believe the gall of this company. I want my systems back!!!!!! read more

Was in town over the weekend to help my daughter replace a power supply in her computer. I was calling around to see who had what in stock, and the person who answered the phone at Gamego was very rude, and told me to call back later because he was busy. Not a big deal, and I can understand, so we drove to the store to see for ourselves, and we were treated like we were a burden to the employee. We were about to drop $200+ on a power supply and gaming keyboard, but decided to go elsewhere. read more

If you want to have your phone or computer fixed and good customer service, you will not find it here. I went to have my iPhone repaired and some 13 year old kid fixed it. They don't even have anyone who is certified in phone or computer repair in their store. When I asked for a refund, the owner kept on shouting at me even though I repeatedly asked him to lower his voice. He told me that he was in the right and that I was wrong because he "was the superior". He cut me off multiple times and told me that he refuses to refund me. DO NOT GO HERE. He will disrespect you. I have spoken to several other stores in the Mt. Pleasant area about his business and they have told me that he is rude and has threatened other businesses when he does not get what he wants. If I could give 0 stars I would....worst customer service ever. Dropped off a laptop that supposedly had a screen issue, wait almost a month with no contact, and eventually stop in to be told it's an issue with the board. Pay $190 to order a new board. Wait almost another month with no contact just to stop in again and be told that the board that was ordered didn't work and now another needs to be ordered. Ended up that the board was not the problem, now says it has other issues and of course will now cost more money. Over $200 later and over 2 months later, no working computer and no refund. The dude then has the balls to say if you have anything else that needs to be fixed (as long as it doesn't need parts), bring it in and I'll fix it for free. This guy is a joke and there is really no good explanation as to why this business is still operational. UNBELIEVABLE, take your computer and smash it on the ground...better results in half the time read more
