My grandson lost his little mind when we walked into this store for the first time 2yrs ago! If your child loves LEGO, this is definitely a must-visit! The selection is AMAZING--there are Minifigure Maker tables, Ball Figs, preassembled figures, loose pieces, lego by the bags, and tons of packaged sets. The combinations and possibilities are truly endless! My Grandson especially loves Harry Potter sets, The mandalorian, Swat teams, and Starwars. He absolutely loves his minifigs. I was also pleasantly surprised by the low prices. They were much more reasonable than what I typically pay at Amazon, Macy's or Walmart for his LEGO sets. A huge shout-out to Jamie and Jeremiah D for being so friendly, helpful, and welcoming! They signed us up for the loyalty rewards program, and I was even able to use my military discount. We also learned about their affordable birthday party options, which is definitely something to keep in mind! If you have a LEGO lover in your family, you must stop here atheist once. I recently moved back to Summerville so I made the trip to North Charleston to get a few items. Overall this is pretty much like any other Hobby Lobby with one exception, which I'll bury somewhere in here if you keep reading. Walking in a week after the doors were unlocked for the general public, the experience is almost exactly similar to all other Hobby Lobby's; the space wide open yet filled with shelves of knick-knacks, art supplies, nostalgic themed items and many other items. The place is very clean and sterile while being well stocked and thoughtfully displayed, playing on the casual shoppers innate impulse shopping with "Oh I might need that one day" mentality. Therein lies my personal weakness as I headed back to the front to grab a cart to load up with items, I really didn't need but I could justify in my mind. I could drag the review out but, it's Hobby Lobby and you know what you're getting. Clean and safe stores with all sorts of items, and generally good employees. But that is one of the flaws of this particular store, the people were slow to respond and weren't well trained as they seemed to be missing a clue or two. While I'm ignorant of the inner workings I'd wager management isn't exactly up to par here. That said for the general public I don't think that would be an issue, just my knit picking. I'll end my review with it's not a bad store and it just needs a little TLC in terms of customer relations. Also triangular display cases for funeral flags. And there are some of those cutie seasonal decorative flags that you see being displayed in front of houses. There is also a used flag box outside and you can drop off your faded and ripped flags for them to properly dispose of. Nice. Owner is your sales person and she knows her stuff. We bought a nice 2.5 X 4 foot flag with a nifty pole that rotates on the pole so the flag does not get "hung up." If you are going to display a flag, this is the place. Sun City gets a 10% discount.
