I found what I was looking for, but then I wasn't super picky or specific. I just wanted something cool to paint. Dez the store manager was nice and chill, making himself available whenever I had questions or wanted to talk about something, but otherwise leaving me to browse. He was knowledgeable and conversational, seemed like a very interesting guy. No pressure. The store is on the smaller side, but that seems to be on par for those I've seen in this state (Tacoma is a bigger, but their schedule is more limited). The store is fine but the manager rubs me the wrong way. The last three times I visited this place I have been looking for very specific items, which have not been in stock. Honestly, no big deal. GW has a million products, so I realize a shop this size can't stock everything. However, every time the manager tries to talk me out of buying what I want and into something else. He just won't take no for an answer, and keeps arguing with me. He is like a terrible used car salesman who won't stop arguing and trying to push you into things you don't want. I didn't want to overreact with a negative review after my first visit, but this same thing has happened to me upon 3 separate visits. I also took two friends with me this last time, and upon leaving the store they both said "WTF is up with that guy??" So at this point I feel the review is warranted. read more

This shop has a lot going against it right now; Covid, expensive hobby , small space, inventory is low due to the world's predicament and understaffed. The manager Matt is always upbeat, wants to talk about the hobby, willing to share best practices from painting technique to army building strategy, and it seems like he is ALWAYS there. This store kinda sucks. The whole store is the size of an average persons apartment living room. It's tiny. The employees are nice but really pushy and annoying. They usually do have a couple items that for whatever reason the other local stores don't tend to have but there's really no exclusive store items or anything. They sell everything at games workshop website prices which is fine accept games workshop is always like 15 - 20% higher than other local game stores. Also the hours kinda suck. I want to support local game stores but there's better stores and when you buy gw products from them you're still supporting gw. read more

The store manager Matt is very knowledgeable and friendly, but my favorite part of the visit was how welcoming of an environment he created for newbies (especially for women), such as myself. I got a couple funny looks when I first walked in, and one guy even approached me to ask if I was lost (thankfully, he's not a regular in the local community). However, Matt simply asked if there was anything I was looking for that he could help me find. He was very patient and his enthusiasm for 40K is contagious. I saw him go out of his way not only for me, but for many other customers there as well. I'm looking forward to finishing up my army and joining in on the games there. If the rest of the community is as respectful and friendly as him, I'm sure I'll be in good hands :) read more

I recently went here with my son. First time experience at a games workshop store. We had a great time. My son who is 6 was fascinated by the models and the paint. The staff was running some table top in the back. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and very tolerant of my 6 year old. We got a few paints and a painting lesson from the manager Matt and help from Abby. I would plan on coming back. My only critique would be the space was a little tight with the table top going on but all the gamers were really nice and welcoming. I think the selection of products was good and diverse. The paints are a bit spendy but thats gw for you. I really appreciate this stores staff for being so nice to new hobby painters and being helpful. read more

Came in here after my visit to a shop next door which I frequent, had a few items on my list for the nephew's for Christmas. The staff was helpful and seemed to be knowledgeable in the products they do carry, they did have two out of three items that I needed and refered me correctly a few blocks away for the rest. Would not personally frequent the store but when I do need gifts and ideas I would be more than happy to come back. read more

There's a new manager at this Game Workshop store and his customer service is super awesome! Always available for instruction or help and a great facilitator in getting a game started, Matt is always willing to go the extra mile for his customers and that is why I drive 45 minutes to get to his store!! A few weeks ago I needed to grab my own set of dice for a game I was going to later that day because I was tired of borrowing my buddies. So I thought that this shop that was on the way to my friends house would be a great place to stop at. I pulled up into the parking lot and I walked inside, there was a large open space plenty of room for any gaming that could have been going on. I walked in and was not greeted, I generally don't really notice being greeted in a store, but when I was looking for something specific a greeting would have been nice. I began wandering around the store looking for what I wanted, and eventually after not finding any throughout the whole store I walked over to the guys working who finally said something to me. I asked them if they had any dice they said that they didn't. I thought this was very strange for a store that deals with tabletop games as most of them require dice. So I asked if they knew any places that would have any, after waiting a little bit one guy finally thought of something and referenced me to a store all the way up in Everett... I politely thanked them and then left. In the parking lot I called my friend that was hosting the game and he referenced me to three places that were all right in Lynnwood. So I guess if you know exactly what you're looking for as long as it isn't dice they could help you out. I do not plan on coming here ever, the other places had what games workshop had and more. read more

Went in the other day with a friend to find Warhammer models, I was looking for a new piece (or multiple) for my Adepta Sororitas army, and my friend was looking for a new model and some paint. When we entered, the employee said NOTHING to me and automatically went to help my friend with his model and paint search, so I wandered around to see if I could find what I was looking for on my own. The store smelled AWFUL, like sweat and Doritos, and everyone in there was beyond rude to me, but very welcoming to my friend. Out of the ENTIRE STORE, they didn't even have a single Sisters Of Battle model OR book. After more than half an hour of being in there, my friend had found what he needed, wanted, and much more - but I left empty handed after having gotten absolutely NO help from the employee there, who only ever darted to talk to other men rather than help me with ANYTHING. Definitely NEVER going there again, and I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. read more

I've been here a few times and have had a great experience. The manager is very friendly and able to offer advice on painting and other parts of the hobby. The costumer service is a lot better than other games shops where you can buy the same product, so I prefer going here when I can. read more
