I have never experienced customer service this terrible at any GameStop. I visited the North Point Mall location in Alpharetta, GA to request refunds for cancelled preorders -- something that should be simple and straightforward. The manager, who introduced himself as "Vito" (not sure if that is his actual name), was extremely rude and condescending from the moment he got involved. He appeared clueless about how to correctly process a refund and acted as if I was the problem for calmly asking for my money back. For reference, he's usually wearing a Buc-ee's shirt or a Bibarel/Bidoof Pokémon shirt -- so you'll know exactly who I'm talking about. Instead of trying to fix the issue or even acknowledge the inconvenience, he escalated the situation. When he couldn't figure out how to do his job, he called mall security and had me removed from the store -- despite me remaining patient, polite, and simply asking for the refund I was owed. This was humiliating, unacceptable, and completely unprofessional. GameStop corporate needs to take a serious look at how this location treats its customers. I will never return to this store again, and I recommend others avoid it if they expect even basic respect. read more

Tried to return something and they declined even though it wasn't even used and they had the worst advice

Completely got screwed over with 10 other people on the PS5 pre-order wait-list from the store at North Point Mall in Georgia. They called nobody on the list that showed up months prior and gave all the pre-orders away to random traffic. COMPLETELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I called and when asked why they didnt call back they stuttered and meekly responded it was choas and they forgot. So basically they were unable to fulfill a simple wait list that numerous stores have done for decades. HORRIBLE customer service experience, especially since they REPEATEDLY said over months they would honor it. Im writing a damn letter and I hope the rest on the list do as well. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love almost any game I can play, and this place is where to go. That said, the trade value is way to low and I also wish they had more pc games and accessories. Overall, If you DONT want to trade in and your looking for options for your Xbox, 3ds, ds, or just play station 4/3, this is the place to go! read more

GAMES AND MORE This is the smallest Gamestop I have ever seen. You definitely don't want to be here during high traffic times because it will be too much. This store still has game systems, new and used games, accessories and everything the larger stores carry. Just expect smaller quantities and perhaps longer checkout times. read more

So I just bought some headphones here. The service itself was good. But....I paid with card..and the my said the Internet went down so I had wait till that restarted to pay. I had to wait for about 10 mins maybe more. The girl was nice when I could finally pay. I put 3 stars though because I think I should get some kind of discount card or something for having to wait and I was told no. I also just found out I need an adapter to use my headphones which I was not told about. So I just spent about $50 and I can't even use it because I don't have the fucking adapter. I won't be buying from this location again..which is why I gave 1 star in the end. read more

This is a great place to buy video games! The people behind the counter here are very knowledgeable and not arrogant like at some other stores! They'll actually have a conversation about a new game with you, and mean every word of it! read more

Terrible. Handed the wife and kid an already used Pokemon download with purchase, promised to make it right but refused in person - the manager was just putting them off on the phone with a promise that the store didn't keep. Then the store help asked them to lie to Nintendo. You're better off going to a different store. read more
