What a surprise! I…read moredecided to just cruise around a Von Maur to see a beautiful building with Uber class clothing & things (but clearly not in a price range I consider "responsible.") Boy, was I wrong! Their quality was at least as high as I expected... Top notch, even Uber Class! But, to my great surprise, the prices were competitive with discount houses!!! I should have been shopping here for years! The quality was so spectacular, and sale prices lower than the cheapest discount stores, that I could not resist buying my wife (not with me) a Spectacular sequined jacket and pants outfit for almost giveaway prices (on sale)! If I told you the jacket cost $16 on discount, would you believe me? Well, check me out. They have massive discounts of top quality clothing at set times each week. I am not the only person who has had this problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/MacysStores/comments/1b7szmo/gift_card_issues/ None of the customers in that thread show that Macy's had made any restitution to their customers. The card number gets printed on the receipt and is only protected by a 4 digit CID that could easily be brute force cracked (only 10,000 combinations). Sometimes there are only 2 digits for the PIN. One person had $3500 stolen from them. Macy's needs to talk to corporate and put a stop to this. This is ridiculous.
