The items I ordered online came damaged. I brought it to this store at Augusta Exchange for return. The white girl immediately asked the big black girl for help. The big black girl asked if the website sent me to the store. I said no and I could return online purchase before. She refused to take my return. So I came back home to go through the return process and printed out the return slip. I went back (two hours after my initial visit) and gave them the return slip. The big black girl still refused to accept the return and said that I had to go online to get a shipping label to ship it back. So I went to another GameStop and returned the items without any problem. Basically, this lazy GameStop employee didn't want to do her job and consistently to be an a***hole to customer. On my second trip, she was fairly rude to another customer as well. This is why GameStop is losing revenue. They hire crappy employees. read more

Purchased an Xbox series x (with a gamestop warranty) from this location recently, got home, unboxed and plugged in console, and figured out it was defective. I then called the store to inform them and ask my options. They instructed me to go to a local repair shop and pay to get it fixed even though I had purchased it within an hour of me calling. I explained that I paid for the year warranty and they still insisted there was nothing they could do. I then asked to speak to a manager and when the person on the phone explained the situation to him (which I heard her do because she didn't mute the phone) the manager replied with "tell him I'm not here". Very unprofessional and if you have anything you need to get from GameStop I recommend taking your business elsewhere read more

I called for days to no response. The website said they had a game. Drove 40 mins game was not there. Associates doing nothing. Walked outside and called again. Heard the phone ring and watched them not move to get it. Horrible people and GameStop doesn't give a shit. Nothing is updated and people waste their time coming up there. Going digital hope GameStop shuts down soon like blockbuster. read more

Hard to review a place that I didn't purchase anything but my friend did and he was happy. I enjoyed looking at the figurines and stock they had in. Some things were just pure fun and brought a smile to my face. Other items I did not recognize the characters in or understand but I suppose if I was a gamer I'd be pleased pink. The place was a bit magical and seemed to have good amounts of games and enough copies of games to keep people happy and returning. The place was crowded and hard to navigate the haphazard aisles but it was manageable. I'd return again I believe for gifts for my gamer friends. read more

Slow and not really helpful. Place got crowded but they moved so slow at checking customers out. It sucks when you have those mom customers that's clueless on what they wanna buy for Johnny but that's when you atlease tell the next customer sorry for the long wait. Great staff, knowledgeable about every game and console. First time visit today with my son and it was a great experience. Traded old games for new ones and even got a new remote for an old console. Definitely returning for the next gaming need in our family. Ask for Ace! read more

From nothing, to one game in-hand, to three games, than a case, than back to nothing and walking out the door all without ever being greeted or asked a thing. I walked into the store, no greeting. But hey, no big deal. I found what I wanted fairly quickly for the 3DS as the games were nicely arranged and alphabetical. I saw a guy in-line. So, I figured what the heck, and kept looking. I grabbed another game, he's still in-line. Soon, I had three 3DS games, a 3DS case, and was done as my wallet was starting to get a bit too hot for my liking :P. As I'm standing behind the same gentleman still checking out, I hear chat about points, forgetting some pin-code, being told to buy anything so he can get a receipt...blah blah blah. AGAIN, I go and walk around the store getting out of line now, maybe I missed some games?! Nope, saw every single one of them. Back to to the one-person line. By this point another gentleman had taken my spot as I walked away. I waited a few minutes, than casually put away all three games taking care to find their correct spots once more. I returned the case to the hook with the others, and proceeded to walk my happy behind out of the store. The original customer was still checking out with the worker, and the newer guy now waiting behind him. The part that irks me was that their was a second Gamestop Employee who was chatting with him the whole time. Perhaps their wasn't a second POS, I don't know, but she certainly could have helped the customers or chatted a bit to keep the business. OH, the cashier took a phone-call in the middle of all this as well. Shouldn't the other employee stocking games AT LEAST do that much?!? Cleanliness: 4/5 Organization: 4.5/5 Customer Service: 0/5 So, I put that part above to say that the little Gamestop is just fine as far as I can tell with regards to selection and layout. Get someone who cares about the flow of sales, and ensuring all customers are at least acknowledged...and they will likely end up with happier customers, more money...and they just might prevent walk-outs. read more

Nate was great. Helpful and enthusiastic. He knew quite a bit about the games, even older ones. But what I appreciated most was that when he could not answer our (rather specific) questions, he just let us know he wasn't sure. read more
