I had waited on line during the holidays for PS5 restock. 10 minutes before the store opened several people got out of cars that had pulled up and cut in front to join friends at the head of the line. Me and several other patrons complained when the manager started giving out tickets to PS5s to these individuals and the manager basically shrugged and told us they were busy and couldn't do anything about it. It is not the customer's job to police themselves. There were enough people there vouching that these individuals cut ahead that the manager should have stepped up. Instead he acted cowardly and gave limited PS5 to these cheats. This store will never get my business again and I have made a complaint to corporate about the manager's disinterest and negligence. read more

Lydia is an amazing human. She went above and beyond the call of duty. She texted and called other stores to find out if any other store had Playstation 5 in stock. Massapequa Store had it and I was able to get it. Lydia saved Christmas. I later returned to this store. Which would be my local store to buy additional games. Staff was very helpful. Lydia was gone, but they said they would pass along the thank you. She did not have to call or text other stores after all buying elsewhere does not make this store revenue. "Nicholas" should be fired immediately and is why I'm never coming back to this store even though Ive been going to this store for over 10 years, been trying to get a game I preordered (Collectors Ghost of T) and the new staff sold it even though I paid for it in full. Been waiting patiently for 2 months, I order pop funkos and games every month and I pay in full. I go to the store to cancel 3 of my preorders because I would rather just order collectors editions online if this is the treatment I would get; the kid Nicholas hasn't been working here for 6 months and he goes to tell me he's gonna cancel my preorder I've been waiting 2 months for, when I ask why he states "because you're not going to bring the store anymore money" which I had no intention of doing since I buy funkos every month. And then when I tell him "no, and I've been spending money here for over 10 years" he says "well not with me, I just started working here". Even though he can see that I have 1000s of dollars in purchases per year at the store and that I pay for all my Preorders in full. I'm Not loyal to some rude senior advisor I'm loyal to GameStop; new manager is nice but is no help, and I didn't buy my last set of funkos cause they were literally smashed and cut up. They didn't offer Me any discounts for my patience, wasted time or for the damaged goods. Whenever I have gone to Wendy's and they screw up my order, the manager immediately gives me coupons and free food.
