I had to ask some one else to call the guy that was helping me from the. ack room. when he came out i told him what happened and after a few attempts to get me connected to a rep he finally was able to do so. I asked him to stay around because I would most likely need him again but he was still paying more attention to his text messages and walked away...surely enough the customer representative on the phone asked me questions that I wasn't able to answer and asked me to remove the SIM card something I could not do because I had nothing small enough to help me get it out. By this time I asked for someone else to help me because the person that was supposed to be helping me was in the back room hiding and probably still texting. I had a very disappointing experience at this location, there was no care for customer service. I would give zero stars if I could.

Once the customer representative at the optimum store got off his personal phone he was able to accept my equipment but was unable to cancel my service. He did give me a phone number to call. After being on hold for over an hour, I was connected with a representative. When I attempted to cancel my Optimum service with this representative, the experience was unnecessarily stressful due to this overly aggressive individual. While I understand that retaining customers is part of their job, the level of pressure I faced was unacceptable. The representative repeatedly ignored my clear request to cancel and instead tried to convince me to stay with multiple sales pitches. Despite me stating multiple times that I had made up my mind, they continued to push, making the interaction feel more like a hard sell than a customer service call. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a drawn-out conversation filled with frustration. At one point, I had to ask repeatedly just to move forward with my cancellation. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also makes me less likely to consider Optimum in the future should I need service again. Companies should respect customers' decisions and streamline their cancellation process instead of resorting to aggressive tactics. I hope Optimum addresses this issue to improve the experience for other customers.

Then you call there costumer service department only to find out, there is a limit on data 20 gigs , that it's not unlimited. It's all about signing up as many new costumers as possible regardless of the deception.
