Could still receive calls and it rang and then a couple of hours after that it was completely dead. I tried Apple Support and even went to the Apple Store where they told me it was going to be $379 plus tax and that they would likely lose all of the data from my phone. I had already gotten a replacement phone and needed the old phone just to receive a code from Apple to transfer my data. I took it to Tech Solutions as I had done business with them in the past. I explained the situation and was given a quote of $125 to replace the screen then told since I was sending the phone back, a temporary screen would be put on, the code retrieved, and the old screen put back on. Not only was all that done in an extremely timely and professional manner, Tech Solutions kept my phone alive (it was apparently overheating for some reason) so they kept it on a cooling gel pad long enough to receive the code while backing up any remaining data. I was so beyond impressed with the job they did, their expertise, their customer relations, that I voluntarily paid them almost 50% more than the final price for their work. The lesson I learned is to go to Tech Solutions first.
