They had Destined Rivals single packs priced at $18, while the current market price is $9.69 per pack. They were pricing those packs at about 86-96% above market, nearly double the current market price. That's just one example. I also brought in some Pokémon and One Piece singles. I asked what they pay for cards, and the lady at the counter told me they pay 50-70%, or even up to 75% of market value. I said, "Alright." She looked up the cards, came up with a total, and showed it to a male employee. He looked through the cards and then offered me $225 for the entire lot. The total market value of the lot is $755.67, so their offer was only about 30% of market value. If they had actually offered the 70-75% they mentioned, the offer would have been: * 70%: $528.97 * 75%: $566.75 So not only are they super overpriced, more than the scalpers out there, they also give you one number that they'd pay and then give you another number that's completely under market value. I get that you have to make a profit, but damn, that's insane. I would not recommend buying from or selling to this business. You're better off buying or selling on the online market. It'll be a waste of your time. Reply to your response wasn't mad or upset. Just wanted to give my review and feedback on the business I went into. My experience. When I returned to use the plan, the manager claimed there was no record of the controller purchase, even though they had records of everything else I bought that same day. They also forgot to give me the game disc, which I had to pick up later. Instead of honoring the protection plan, they offered me $10 for a $60 controller. In the end, the controller was so unusable I gave it back, and they gave me nothing in return. All I wanted was for them to honor the protection plan and exchange it for a working controller.

Walked in the this Game Stop with game and receipt in hand. Was greeted by Joe, the Assistant Manager, who asked what he could help with. I explained our whole saga with the other store in addition to Corporate (see my review of the Meridian store). Joe said not a problem at all. He didn't understand why the original store wouldn't replace the defective game that we purchased. Joe proceeded to replace the bad game with a new one and apologized for our experience at the other store. It was a complete 180 from the previous experience we had. So THANK YOU JOE! I've already called the Manager and advised him of your help in addition to the issue we had at your sister store. Oh, and the game works perfectly! I take a couple weeks but finally make it back in there to cancel and of course they tell me they can't cancel it in store and I have to call their customer support number. Get frustrating that I had to call some number and deal with people who could barely speak English because this girl lied to me and did exactly what she said she wouldn't do. Will NEVER return. They stated that if the tape wasn't peeled from the box, maybe they could take back but highly unlikely.
