They…read moreare pretty level headed with prices and recommendations for any sort of repair that you may need on your console. I stopped in with a switch on the fritz. They were able to take it apart and get it squared away with a fantastic turn around time. My repair was quick, but I was also super happy with the employees taking time to trouble shoot with me and determine that my switch dock was also fried, contributing to the problem with my diagnosis. Either way, I ended up spending a reasonable amount instead of buying a new console. I would highly recommend.

They also have "retro" toys, posters, and games (video, card, and board). They have tables set up in the back because I think they have tournaments. At the least they play card and board games. When I got there , they told me that they wouldn't actually pay cash for the cards and only do so on Wednesdays. It makes it a lot easier to walk around the shop to look at games. Another thing I noticed was that they were playing gaming music. It just made the shopping experience that much more fun. The last change I noticed was that they had some of their arcade games for sale...and they sold the ninja turtles one! They still have plenty of fun ones to play though! My husband and I played two quick games and then I bought me a switch game to play at home. I really love this shop. It brings back so many childhood memories! I'm definitely going to keep supporting it.

The ungraded higher end books, however, were sort of scattered about the store, on various walls, or even stacked (unstoppable) in a glass case. The back room ha 25 or so long boxes to look through. A note on the prices of the raw books: WAY over market. I mean, astronomically so. Prime example, Daredevil #181 in NM is a $5-15 book all day. This store had it at $55. That's just one example. I've never Said to a store owner/employee "how on earth are you pricing these?!" But I did today. The owners wife? Was super sweet though, and took my complaining in stride. I bought all of two comics unfortunately, but I was looking to spend far far more. I would come back, if only to score a nice CGC book or three.

They have a large and wide range of retro options all the way to latest generation consoles and game selections. A good chunk of their catalog rotates fairly often and some rare finds make their way around the shelves too. They also provide disk resurfacing services. I've brought up all my GameCube Games over the last year or so and they're so helpful and quick! And in the event that a disc is too damaged, they'll show you exactly what is happening and still let you choose whether or not you want to proceed. The transparency here is extremely appreciated. Something as simple as me wanting to know more about how they fixed another customer's PS5 HDMI port and they showed me everything I needed to know and also gave me tips and tricks for if I ever needed to do it myself. Overall, this place is very welcoming, and I've never had a bad experience thus far. If you are looking to expand your collection, check this place out!

I brought in a PS5 a few months ago to get it cleaned, and forgot to take a movie out of it called…read more"The Midnight Meat Train". I got my PS5 back only to find out, they cleaned it but told me it still won't work, and then I plugged it in to get my movie out and found out they stole the movie and never gave it back to me, so now I have an empty case, I lost 60 dollars for nothing, and they stole my movie. I'm pretty sure that whatever was in the PS5 was supposed to come back WITH my PS5.
