I'd be interested to come back on a slower day, because it was difficult to be in charge of kids here during a very crowded, overstimulating, busy weekend. We came here for a birthday party on a Saturday afternoon and all of the kids were given a card to swipe on all the games. The points you won were automatically uploaded to the card. I was so nostalgic for when you used to get actual paper tickets at the arcade! This is not the case here, and probably most other places nowadays. The staff was friendly and the arcade itself was much cleaner than I was expecting. Some of the games weren't working and there wasn't any signage communicating that. The group of kids I was with LOVED the merry go round and the little rides catered to the smaller kiddos. Those games obviously don't accrue any points, but they did win some points and were able to pick up some prizes at the end. If you get overstimulated easily (like myself), this place probably isn't for you - lots of noises, lights, bright colors and carpeting. It is a fun place for families, and even with it being busy, we didn't ever have to wait long for the games we wanted to play. Would be interested to come back during the week when it's less busy!

The digital fireplace brings home the "hearthside" feel and they even had local board game designers set up which was cool to see. There is plenty of parking out front and it's easy to find from Redwood Road just behind the Wendy's. They take cashapp which is cool too. Highly recommended!

We were split into teams by random draw and invited into a game room where we played a few different games to earn points (elementary pop quiz, internal clock guessing type game, split decision, memory game, wheel of fortune type game, and spinning the wheel). Of course there was friendly competition banter amongst our two teams. (Red Team - the team I was on, won ). The staff was so enthusiastic and played their characters well! Our host was great! Overall we had a great time! It would have been fun to choose a few games instead of it all being randomized, but that's okay. I'm hoping to get some friends together to try it out!

The building used to be an old church, so I really admired the beautiful stained glass windows and the preserved architectural details. It still carries that subtle sacred and holy vibes. It's now a marketplace with an open space filled with sofas, benches, chairs, tables, coffee shop, tattoo shop, plant store from what I recalled. People can rent out the space to hold social / community events there, too. I ended up staying for a few hours after visiting the bookstore to participate in an arts+craft activity. I saw people ordering coffee and spending some time there to read &/or socialize. Parking can be found in the streets. Free Saturday and Sunday, but of course, suggest checking the sign. Next time, I'll come back to check out other stores and the upper level.

Probably the most lackluster 'Grand Opening' event of any grand opening I've ever been to. They…read moredidn't even have a sign up on the building yet. The advertisement said it started at 10am and there would be free corndogs, but we showed up and of course there were no corndogs. They told us that corndogs would be arriving at 12, so we came back at 12, and guess what... still no corndogs. So they gave us false info not once but twice and wasted our time. As for the games, the machines were set to let you win 1 in every 8 plays, and each play is a dollar. How do I know this? Because one of the machines displayed this info in the settings. So for $8 you can expect to win a small knockoff plush that has a hole in it. They also had a couple of small machines that weren't up and running yet. The staff wasn't unfriendly, but I wouldn't exactly describe them as friendly either. They seemed about as unenthused for a grand opening event as can be. Unlike some better claw arcades, they weren't offering to help reset or fluff up machines, in fact they didn't talk to us at all while we were playing, and it's not like there was a large crowd. Overall, would not be excited to return.
