The Exchange is the perfect place to find new/used video games, movies, cds, toys, consoles and more! Everything is organized in sections by type of game or appropriate genre of music or type of movie. It may seem overwhelming at first, but it's almost like a library of all things cool. The staff is super helpful. When you want something, you'll need to ask them for help as everything is behind glass and locked so you don't steal- good call on their part. Prices are reasonable for the most part. Some things like vintage games can be a little pricey but it makes sense. I bought about 6 or 7 old video games from NES Super NES and Sega for $38. I think I did well. They now have a rewards program that's free to sign up for so take advantage of that. I love this place whether I'm in Pittsburgh or Chicago. Definitely will make a trip or two every time I'm here.

I was told I would receive a call the following day once it was tested. After receiving no update, I called the store myself and was told my offer was ready and to come in. After driving over 40 minutes, I was informed in person that you could not accept the console due to a fan issue--information that should have been communicated over the phone. Additionally, during a previous visit to sell a collection of Naruto Funko Pops and manga, I explicitly asked to complete the transaction that day to avoid another trip. Despite assurances, I was kept waiting until closing time, only to be given a rushed and surprisingly low offer. Clear communication and respect for customers' time are essential. I hope you will address these issues to improve your service going forward.

The owner Joe, really is a great guy which is why he is mentioned in every review. He's got a good little staff of employees who are always very helpful and kind. Need a movie recommendation? Give Joe several titles you've enjoyed in the past and he will come up with something you've never even heard of! You won't ever want (or need!) to use Redbox again after you see the selection this little shop has... There are several monthly plans you can subscribe to (we have 2 out at a time, about $25 per month). Only wanna rent family movies? There's a plan for you too, $4.99 per month. Oh and I mention the selection of video games? Yeah, it's extensive too! I hate to mention it, but I have to.... There's an epic xxx section complete with Girls Gone Wild and all the parodies. You're welcome. Pretty much every hit show that's ever been on television is there and when you rent a series, you get the whole series not just one or two discs at a time. Joe also takes requests and custom orders, so if you dont see something, ask! Don't feel like going out? Oh well they also deliver! They have items for all your gaming and movie/show watching needs. They have systems, games for generations of systems. On top of video games, they also lots of dvds, including collectors editions. I love dvds in the tin collectors boxes and they had plenty of them, including a cool Simpsons season 6 tin of Homers face. If you are looking for a place to buy something used or maybe even sell something of yours, I'd recommend checking out The Exchange. I certainly wasn't disappointed.

They took a look and let me know the fuses would need to be replaced (which I suspected) but also the capacitors. This is a precision repair. They soldered the unit carefully and replaced the parts for me for only 45$ including labor. Easily will get another 10 years out of it now! An absolute bargain! You can see their passion for their work and even though I'm much closer to another repair shop I will take this 25 minute drive anytime for future repairs!! They also have a 90 day warranty standing behind their work. That's included in the reasonable price! Parking was easy and free as well. Just keep an eye on the signs and you'll be fine.

To start on a good note I bought an Xbox One from this store about 2 years ago and was satisfied…read morewith my purchase but unfortunately, my later purchases and experiences have been very disappointing. About a month ago the second system I bought was a PS2 and had previous repairs that were not disclosed to me upon my purchase of the PS2. Yesterday I went to play said PS2 and removed what i thought was built up dust and gunk from a previous owner but the system stopped working entirely. While i understand I bought a used system i should be made aware of repairs or fixes made that have been done with the system that im purchasing and should not be paying the same price of a system in good working order without repairs. Me being me I let that go but over this past weekend I also went back and bought 2 games from this store only to discover that one case was missing the disc. I understand that mistakes can happen, but undisclosed repairs and selling an empty game case shows a serious lack of quality control and lack or care to your customer. Customers should be able to trust that used systems and games have been properly inspected, that repairs are disclosed, and that games actually include the disc. With my experiences in mind I would not recommend this store unless you want to take the risk or they improve their inspection process and disclosing repairs on theirs systems. I will say the employee that was working when I came to replace the missing disc did his best to mend the situation of the missing disc but I'm highly disappointed with the quality of systems and games ive purchased from this store be weary of what you purchase from these guys
