This new location at the Greene has been a great move to Lane Bryant. The store is larger and…read morebetter laid out than the previous location and it has all the same wonderful employees. Dressing rooms are many and large and there is always someone offering to help. After I get a few items in my hands, someone always offers to come over and start a fitting room for me. Employees check on you and ask if they can get you anything and don't hesitate to get you a different size if you need it. Don't pass up the free bra fitting. It may be a bit awkward, but its over the clothes and always help you find the right size for you. My best friend looked at 10 stores for the perfect strapless bra for her wedding and had no luck until I suggested Lane Bryant for a bra fitting. Within 10 minutes she got a fitting, an employee found the perfect bra and she was happy. Also, if you like something but its not in your size or color (I tried on the green shirt, but really like the pink one), they will order it for you and send it to your door for free!! Also, free shipping to the store when you order online and a $25 coupon when you pick up!! Oh, and location, location, location!! I go shopping, and hubby goes to Pies and Pints right next door. He gets a beer or two and I meet him there when I'm done so we can finish our shopping. The parking is the only real weak point, but its no worse than when this store was located at the Mall at Fairfield Commons!

I definitely have had to wait in lines before, but it's not usually longer than 5 minutes, and unless someone has called in, there's usually two or three employees at the store at any given time. Employees have always been pleasant, and while I've had an issue with Torrid's online not e-mailing me when I had an order to pick up, that's honestly that only online order issue I've had in the 20+ orders I've had delivered here. This particular location is decently large. They have a full-sized bra selection, and during swimsuit season, full swimsuit section. They have multiple fitting rooms. Each one of the fitting rooms is outfitted with an optional, strong fan you can turn on/off. That's a god-send in the summers! Especially before big clearance sales, the staff seems to go through and organize all of the clearance items by size AND by color/function. For example, all the size 1 will be together. Then all the lingerie comes first, then the swimsuits, then the shirts, then the boleros/jackets, etc. Then in each category, all the items will be color-matched. It's really a fantastic way to shop, and I've never seen any other Torrid (or any other store!) do this before. This Torrid is located in The Greene, though. While not a problem, it will make "quick stop" shopping a bit harder as the Torrid is located almost directly in-between the two nearby parking lots. It's not a terrible walk, though. Expect about a block's worth of walking. I'd recommend parking in the parking lot nearest the Winan's and Old Navy over the other lots.

I'm kinda confused by the pharmacy part. You can buy your average, everyday shampoos, body washes, or razors here. It feels like an odd use of space - especially when these items are definitely cheaper at your big box store. The rest of the store is pretty cool though. From garden supplies to unique pens to seasonal decor to toys I've never seen to baby and dog gear, there's a mini half-aisle dedicated to most types of "stuff". A lot of it is brands and styles I haven't seen at big-box stores, and it all looks way higher quality than dollar stores. All prices end in a flat number ($5 vs $4.99) and everything looked properly signed. Prices aren't dollar store cheap, but they're not pricy either. Most everything average is in the $3 to $8 range. I found lots of cute little things that would make great gifts; lots of branded merch (Bluey, Pokemon, Hello Kitty, etc.) Lots of stuff to look through. Most that you probably don't *need*, but I found a lot of stuff I wanted. The store was nicely organized, pretty clean, and well-stocked and faced. The two employees were really friendly. Both greeted me upon entry and asked if I needed anything when I was staring at a display for awhile. Bathroom was clean and single-room unisex too. It felt fun and playful and welcoming to shop there, and I'll definitely be back.

I came to pick up my online order. Even though the website will tell you to go to Bin #1, you actually give your name to the cashier (which makes a lot more sense). My bag was ready and waiting (nice shopping bag!) and I was, reluctantly, on my way. I got the impression of a kind of cross between Hobby Lobby and Marshall's. I rarely ever leave reviews; great, good, or bad...but this has to be said! I encourage anyone who shops at this store regularly or who wants to learn a little bit more about the company culture to read the pictures below, in order. And to be Frank, this actually involves two stores, and the online ordering system, making this a systemic issue with all of Rural King as a franchise. The culture promoted and tolerated within this franchise is disgusting and the lack of professionalism and business knowledge is wholly subpar. I genuinely have no idea how they are as successful and as big of a frandchise name as they are. If I felt this was a one-off, bad luck, special circumstance issue, I would not have made this lengthy review, but the entire experience screams of this being the cultural "norm", being accepted by employees (all the way up to management), and being a systemic problem within the entire franchise that needs immediate attention and swift correction. Parking at this location is kind of challenging. I went after work so it would've been around 3:00-3:40 PM. It's a nice looking plaza area with a lot of businesses. The store itself appeared clean and well stocked. They have vitamins, energy drinks, protein powders and a variety of other supplements. There was no pressure selling and the layout is pretty good. There is one shelf area for closing, discounted/discontinued items. They even have manuka honey, which is almost exclusively produced in New Zealand and they even had it in high MGO values which I rarely see in retail stores. Pricewise, I would say the retail prices are comparable to what you may find online. I didn't see any real bargains going to the store. However, if you can't wait or don't want to wait for an order, they may have what you are looking for here. There also are numerous supplement extracts. I by no means am a health expert, trainer or anything of the sort but I do recommend.
