Obviously, they can't stock everything, but it's maddening when you want to read a new series . . . and they don't have the first book in the series. This has happened multiple times to me at this location. If you're going to stock a book series, make sure you stock all of them, especially the first one. Yes, I know you can just order it online, but that entirely defeats the purpose of a brick and mortar bookstore.

When I got there, there wasn't really anyone to tell me about what was going on or where to sit or do, so I had to figure it out. There is a good and beverage place inside, but I had just eaten dinner, so I can't say anything about the service or the quality of the food. At first, I guess I sat in the wrong spot as a female employee rudely asked if I noticed the seating was reserved and that it was only for employees. With no one to greet me and it being my first time there, I, of course, did not know, and all I was focused on was getting my paint and a seat and painting my little cat. When I left, no one had taken my seat, so I'm sure it would have been fine for me to continue where I had started. The paint choices were great, although they seemed to be missing pink and basics like plain white and black (or they were hard to find). The cost was great for what they offered, and where I ended up sitting was good for painting. I appreciated the fact that they provided slim paintbrushes as the models were maybe 2 inches tall by 1 inch wide. I might go back, but rude employees do leave a bad taste in my mouth for places, so we will see.

My dad died last week and I have been helping my mom get everything sorted…read more If you've never gone through this experience it is quite grueling, on top of being emotional, since there are just so many things to do you are completely at the mercy of each vendor to close everything out, it can be very very stressful. The rep we spoke to earlier in the week instructed we stop into a store as soon as we got dad's death certificate. So we did. However, this was apparently not the process we were supposed to follow. After helping us get customer service on the line again, Heather, the store manager, hearing how our conversation was going with this second service rep, sat with us and helped walk us through everything. When we hung up for the second time we still didn't have the issue resolved, so she called them again with us. After an hour + in the store, my mom was finally good to go. Now, I've been a Verizon customer since I was 16 years old and I stay with them for their customer service, but don't think I have ever had someone so invested in making sure we had the help we needed. I seriously cannot say thank you enough. The kindness and compassion she showed my mom and I, especially sitting with us through two (in store) calls to customer service, after they told us that they couldn't help, was unparalleled. My wife walked over and picked out a phone case that she really wanted...and we stood and watched people for ten minutes. Couldn't figure out if we were supposed to check in or how to check out. There is no register or customer service...just a few folks with a Verizon polo engaged in pleasantries with random folks strewn around the store. How do I get myself into these things? Don't get me wrong--I LOVE brick and mortar. I won't be back here again unless I have no choice, though. They have lost the art of interacting with people, and their accessory inventory is very limited.

I opted to pay with cash. I didn't realize my total was a little more than the cash I had on me. Because of MY error the nice associate named Mary had to return all of my items and ring them up again so I could pay half cash and half with a debit card. It was not Mary's error however she apologized like it was and never once lost her patience that she had to basically do everything again. She remained nice and helpful throughout the whole process and apologized about 3 times even though it wasn't her fault. It was mine. Now that is customer service. I do not believe the customer is always right but I do believe that kindness goes a long way. Mary is top notch in customer service service and is the epitome of what great service is. Thank you Mary!
