Traded my PS4 pro in for warranty and was given a refurbished PS4 Pro with Internet issues and a display controller. The controller was one for display and not functional at all. Then the employee only opted to get a used controller and not a new one. Also later I tried to exchange a PS4 pro for cash to buy a PS5 their sales price on PS4 Pro at the time was $499 after tax being over $500. They only wanted to give me $90 for the PS4 pro...... I get you got to make money but the trade should at least be $300... Not $90... Do not Trust GameStop and use the same nickname I gave it (ScamStop) Along side the PS4 pro having connection issues to both gaming and the store to purchase anything giving me the currently undergoing maintenance and had to fix this pop up by running a connection test for it to fix the issue for only 3 minutes and then it would pop it back up again!! I am reporting this store to the better business bureau. I clearly stated to the guy that I did not want to renew any memberships and I was only there to make a purchase. When i came into the store he was working with another customer so I patiently waited. He then stopped to ask me why I came in today which was awesome. However, once i said i was buying a console, he stopped helping the other customer and started helping me which i felt a little uncomfortable about. I completed the transaction but upon doing it he asked me about subscriptions and I clearly said no im not interested. He asked me again am I sure? and i said yes politely. Now, I come home with charges on my statement. I'm letting yall know now, I will be coming up there and I will confront this guy. This is not okay and we will have it out and that is a promise. This place is terrible. Went to exchange games an an Xbox over the holidays, they had a sign posted on their front door with their holiday hours. I showed up in the middle of the day in the middle of their holiday hours and this place was locked up like a jail, I could understand having the door locked but to lock up like the business was shut down?? She allow 5 white men to cut in front us in line, while we was waiting for over 30 minutes. And when I ask her why she was mistreating and being rude to my 11-year-old son and me. She got smart with me, and continues to help and let every white person cut in front of us. I will never visit this location every again since they hate black people!! First of all, we walked in and it reeked of marijuana. I don't have a problem with it but I also don't want to smell it strongly in a store. The staff was having a three way conversation amongst themselves, while it was obvious I came in merely to ask about a product I was looking for they kept yammering on and I had to interrupt them to ask my question. DO NOT Preorder from this location! I came into the store the same morning that preorders opened for a con exclusive Funko Pop, and placed a preorder for it, but a few weeks passed with no phone call regarding its arrival, so I went back to the store in person. The employee told me my preorder was showing up in stock, but they didn't have it in the back, because they had already sold it. I spoke to a manager who said they would ensure I got the preorder, and they called me the next morning to tell me they had the item in stock, but when I arrived at the store that afternoon, they had sold the item a second time. Again, the manager said they would get another for my preorder and would give me a call when they had it in stock. A week passed with no call, during which time I called the store 4 times, no one ever picked up. I went back to the store in person, again, only to be informed they had gotten another one in and sold it, for the third time. Claimed to have called me numerous times, and said it was my fault for not picking the item up, but I only ever received one call, and came into the store that same day, only for the item to have been sold. read more

Super weird shopping experience. So I was looking at games, and I heard this guy raising his voice about paying for something. He was mad that some company withdrew something from his savings instead of checking. He was also like "I can get the money!" I thought it was some dramatic customer- oh no- it was the guy working the register! Dude was having some intense financial conversation that just got louder and more uncomfortable with each passing minute. Okay so mind you, there's like 4 people working: 3 guys and a girl. They all just stood behind the counter and talked to some kid for a minute. He left, and I waited to be called up to the register. Minute or so passed, then I guess they noticed I was there and I got to check out with awkward phone guy. Icing on the cake: "Do you wanna donate to the get veterans jobs thing?" "Uh... what?" This is when the woman interjected and said "It's not called that, we don't really remember what it's called. It helps veterans get jobs that aren't GameStop. Or holding guns." I love this location! The staff is always friendly and this store is much bigger than the ones in the mall, which means a bigger selection of games and accessories. Also, since this location isn't limited by mall hours and security they are able to many more midnight releases. read more

I shop here for all my current Generation pre-owned and new games. Most of the staff is friendly. They have a huge selection of pre-owned games, course it has dwindled down some due to the Holidays. My only complaint is that I'm a collector and I always grab original release game cases (not platinum hits) and they will put a platinum disk in the case, now I generally buy 10+ pre-owned games at a time so I don't check until after I leave. Now no big deal but its like the employees really hate to exchange it out. Its just kind of annoying. read more
