This Gamestop is definitely not what it used to be. Staff is awful. The manager is the only person who ever greets me or my kids when we walk in. Staff never has the answers to my questions, they never ask if I need assistance or even try to sell me anything. They just sit behind the counters, on their phones. The staff here went above and beyond to get us the product we were looking for. My brother-in-law needed to replace his dead Playstation 3, and we wanted a very specific one with 4 USB ports, and they were kind enough to call around to a neighbor store to make sure it was still there before we drove there, and have it held for us. This particular GameStop is the best one I've ever been too. To say the staff is accommodating is an understatement, they take the time to talk and get to know the customers and will suggest things that the customer would actually be interested in. You can tell it's not just about making the sell but genuinely about making the customer happy. GameStop should have the staff here give a seminar to the entire company to demonstrate how good customer service can lead to profits. The manager here, a gentleman by the name of Sterling, really saved the day for me. I had a bit of a row with the staff here one day about them selling a game I had reserved earlier in the day and driven 30 miles to retrieve. I spoke with Sterling on the phone and he bent over backwards to locate another copy near me and hold it, he even offered to ship one down. It's nice to find someone who still uses the polite forms of the English language and who remembers what an acceptable standard of customer service should look like. read more

I called looking for a particular charger for a game and even though it was after hours, they answered the phone, answered the questons and gave me the scoop to get the charger the next day. The one thing I hate is that the employees are always trying to upsell when I don't need them to, and too busy talking to parents about games when I need to buy something. I went to this gamestop locationand bought FF10 for the ps4. I hadn't played it before so when another cashier started talking about a major plot point in the end of the game its slightly ruined for me. Try to not tell customers the end of the games they are buying. read more
