Not my favorite gamestop. I've been in some really good ones, especially the ones down south. This GameStop has an okay selection for games and the deals are sometimes good. I personally think they ask for too much for some used games, so I usually just don't buy them. This GameStop is small compared to others, sometimes get a little crammed and stinks. I've had to return many games for being too scratched that my console can't read the disk properly. This has happened way too many times. The employees are rude and condescending - specifically Tristian. The registers malfunctioned and charged my card twice. They said there was nothing they could do about it - I would have to wait from 3 to 5 days for my money back. Although, I got my money back the next day the the whole experience sucked. I've shopped their in the past and never had a problem. I will not be returning. read more

This company while making it easier to find titles has terrible customer service and fleeces you on resale values, sell you your stuff directly and get 2-3 times what you pay for. You can't say you have to stay in business when you have 3 locations in a small area and you have a 300-400% markup on things you buy back from consumers. I've completely stopped dealing with EB Games/Gamestop and resold my things through Amazon/Craigslist list for buying/selling. 80% of the staff is only knowledgeable about things that are on the bestsellers list. For over 5 years I've been using this Gamestop store for my gaming needs. The staff is always helpful even so far as to spend 30+ minutes going through a list of games i brought in to buy, and going so far as to make sure I have the best possible copy/case/booklets to go with them. My only complaint which in no way lessens my adoration for the crew is the size of the shop (Please buy the empty room next to you and expand) I bought my 2nd Xbox One as of the day of this writing and kaylee was extremely helpful in making sure games were top notch (Got a free DLC preorder code someone left in case for Saints Row 4) and In store. Even going so far as having a copy of a game I wanted brought over from the anderson store. read more

My son buys a lot of video games. I love that he has a place he can go to where the staff is actually knowledgeable and well trained in manners. Whenever I go in with him, I am pleasantly surprised by the courtesy the staff gives its customers. And as for their knowledge, they have never suggested and sold a game to us that my son hasn't loved. When we go to the big places like Walmart or best buy, the staff is always made up of people who really know nothing about what they're selling, they just show up for a paycheck. This is a specialty store! You get great service for cheaper than bigger stores. We go here at least once a month and we're always so satisfied. I just tried to buy a digital gift card for my son. First, there was no option to have the card sent to his email but GameStop will only send the link to mine. Then I got the confirmation message that I have to wait 12-24 hours for my credit card to be accepted. THAT makes absolutely no sense. It takes a real company maybe 5 minutes tops to charge your card and get a confirmation. When I tried to use their "Contact Us" form it would not connect to Game Stop even after 5 separate tries, I went back to the order message to try to cancel the order and found that Game Stop provides absolutely no way to do so. Worse, they offer no links or phone numbers to customer support. When I called the local store the girl I spoke to was very nice but not at all knowledgeable about corporate policies about cancellations. She gave me the corporate "customer service" number that took waiting nearly 45 minutes on hold, being told how valuable their customers are, before a human answered (also known as some young Filipina that had trouble with English) who did fairly quickly cancel the order (I hope but she did but she says that she could give no confirmation numbers). If you plan on doing any business with Game Stop then go into it knowing that once they have your money they suddenly lose all interest in you. Do not, for any reason, deal with these dips online because any problems you have will simply not matter to them. From what I've heard they're almost as bad at their physical stores. This gamestop has been my favorite of the 3 near me, and probably always will be. I came here to get gameboy games for my DS when i was 7, and xbox games when i was 9 and my older brother gave me his xbox. And know i use it to get games like fallout 4 and star wars battlefront. The staff has always been very friendly and extremely helpfull. The trade in values could be better, but i dont trade in games that often, so it doesnt really bother me. read more
