Two associates are always working and there's normally a small line of one or two people at least. This location may not have the widest range of games, but you can count on them to have what's current and popular. It seems like merch either matches or outnumbers the amount of games, so if you're after shirts, manga, figures, etc. you'll definitely be in luck. If you're willing to brave the crowd, it might be worth stopping in to see what's in stock.

They rarely promote them on social media and mainly just promote cards. That's great but there are so many card shops. So yeah it would be nice if they widen their selection on funko pops and other collectibles. Like comic books are listed but they don't have them. It would be great to see comic books there. Also with the cards it would be nice to see like Star Wars or marvel cards. Hopefully this doesn't sound harsh but I've seen this store before they moved to this location. I know they have the potential to be a lot more. It's just disappointing that they have leaned so heavily to cards. When people like myself originally came for different stuff.

Not knowing any better, I made an appointment with the "Geek Squad" at Best Buy, who qouted me $500-$2000 for an "advanced repair ATTEMPT"?!?!!? Distraught, I came to Altex and was quickly greeted by Matt and the store manager Jacob Wiese. Explaining my problem, they offered to attempt repair for a nominal charge- how reassuring! Jacob broke down the concepts of disc drives and solid state drives into terms I could understand [thank you!] - so I immediately purchased a new portable solid state drive. I left my "broken" hard drive with them- feeling much more confident in their skills. Within 2 days they called to inform me they were able to access the data and transfer it to the new SSD! While I am impressed with their technical expertise, I am MORE grateful for their kind, patient, customer-friendly demeanor- helping those of us who are novices and helplessly lost. My job as a professional nurse has been to help explain medical terms/procedures to patients who are confused and anxious. What a wonderful experience to meet computer professionals who are willing to help do the same thing when an anxious customer comes in. Placed an online order for pick up. It's 1207 on a Thursday during lunch hour and I arrive at the…read morestore to pick up my order. There's a sign on the door saying they're CLOSED and will be back in 30 minutes. Was that a half hour ago or a couple minutes ago. Either way, it's poor service to close in the middle of the day. Wow. It took me a half hour to drive there and I was told they were open til 7pm when they called to let me know my order was ready. No answer when calling the store so I call customer service who tells me they can't adjust online orders after the store accepts them. They tell me the store was closed for inventory and that I would need to drive back there for a refund. Batteries plus customer service needs to do better. I'm on hold for 15 minutes to be told to go back and nothing could be done on their end. I don't live here. I have a flight to catch. I don't have time to drive back out there to process my refund or pick up the item. I call the store and was told they don't have the authorization to process refunds over the phone and would need to call the district manager. Im on hold another 15 minutes and was told they would call me back. It's been about 2 hours since this back and forth started and still no call back. It amazes me that the store isn't prepared to allow me to pick up the item and then expect me to drive back out there for a refund. I've wasted enough time. Don't want to risk driving another half hour there to find the store still closed and miss my flight.
