Stopped by to pick up some fabric to make masks. The selection of fabric is limited but I was able to find a few fabrics I liked. I was able to get my fabric cut quickly. My only complaint would be checking out, there was o my one line and it was taking a long time. Fortunately after about 6 minutes of waiting two other lines opened up and I was able to get home.

OMG there is alot of nice stuff here! A creative mind can go crazy with ideas to enhance their home! The ready made decorations are one thing, but the materials and design elements can be combined in so many ways that mass production made-in-China kitsch can be transformed to something really tasteful! I do not go here alot but when I do it is for framing stuff. They are better than Michael's in helpfulness, price, and quality. I had something framed at Michael's once and there were fingerprints left inside the glass. So unprofessional. April who works in framing is so nice. About six months ago I was there and saw this really nice framed Japanese geisha portrait on display on the wall. It had an exquisite (expensive) frame, the perfect gift for someone I know all into Japanese stuff. Anyway, I told April it was pretty and she said that the display items are rotated and eventually it would be for sale. I told her I was interested and she asked me for my phone number. I completely forgot about it and lo and behold I got a call months later and it was April to ask if I was still interested! That shows true caring and conscientiousness! So anyway, I went back today and April was there and I remembered my experience from before so I felt great ordering some framing today and just want Yelpers to know it.

Locker I bought at Hobby Lobby.

I love this Hobby Lobby. Another child hood memory as I use to always hang out at Crossroads mall. This place is addicting. I love arts and crafts and the ability to paint whenever I have free time. It doesn't hurt that they sell some nice furniture there too.

This may sound crazy, but this HL has improved its selection! Its got some decent clearance as well. With having a mall entrance and a parking lot entrance you'd think the lines flow pretty smooth. Don't be fooled. They don't. I will tell you the mall entrance clerk (usually always open) is the cashier with the smallest line.

It doesn't bother me as much as other people that Christmas decor goes up at the same time as the fall stuff.

Tons of information, lots of explanation about why you should use one product over another, very hands on, and walks through the whole process from start to finish. It is a class with a focus on business/pro-level screen printing, NOT hobbyist stuff so the information is not simply a generic "how to" but a "how to" with equipment and supplies that would make the most sense in a professional setting. THE STORE seems oriented toward professional artists and crafters, less toward hobbyists. There were multiple sections that really surprised me in terms of selection - I haven't seen some of that kind of supply on hand outside of specialty shops I've visited in other large cities. Specifically, the selection of vinyl, HTC, etc for shirts and jerseys was outstanding. The screen printing supplies (ink and chem selection) and equipment (presses, tools, etc) were impressive. And the quality and variation in fine painting was great, as well as the multiple options for easels, art tables, brushes, etc. Finally, I got the impression that this is absolutely the kind of place that would be able and willing to order supplies or equipment on request, which is gold. *Really valuable resource to the regional arts community.*

I do, however, have a friend who has one, and that is how I ended up shopping at this little store. Really, if you don't know it's there, it is easy to miss. Their selection of vinyl is pretty good. They sell glitter and matte vinyl of varied colors. They also sell squares of vinyl for smaller projects, as well as other types of crafting materials. The pricing for the vinyl seemed ok. You can get individual square sheets from about $1- 4 and rolls from $3.50 - 6.50. Some of the vinyl was a bit on the pricey side, but not being a huge connoisseur of vinyl materials, I can't say if this was a huge difference from selections at bigger commercial places. I do know the other stores have higher prices for full rolls of vinyl, and if you're only doing a smaller project, like I was, this seemed a better deal. Know that this is a privately owned business, not a chain, so be aware that they do not do returns. It is posted all over the store. For an exchange, I was told I'd have to contact the owner via the receipt. So make sure that you purchase what you need and ask for pricing before buying. All in all, I would say, if you're making a smaller project, or one with many colors, this is better option to having to buy more expensive rolls in the other stores.

If there was only one store I could shop for the rest of my life, it would probably be Target…read more However, I am not sure if it would be this Target in particular. This location has had some very much deserved TLC over the last few years, and it is probably one of the most "modern" looking Targets in San Antonio. This location has everything and anything you can imagine and more! From plants, to home decoration, groceries, clothing, school supplies, you name it! However, the main reason why I am not giving them a full five stars is because of the way this location has their product placement. They have items from the same category spread in two separate locations. Why? My guess it that they want customers to walk all over the store to find products. Here is one example, I was looking for Jurassic World toys for my kid and they had them spread in two locations of the store (toy section and a random path in other section of the store). Another example would be their school supplies sections which again was spread between two different locations, making us go back and forth to get what we actually needed. I would prefer if they had everything in one place and just let customers shop a little more efficiently instead of making us guess where the second part of what we are looking for is actually located.

There was a man standing there in front of the door and he tells me the restroom is closed and I can use the one by the pharmacy while pointing off in the distance. I ask him if someone is in there and he says yes, but if he let's me in then he has to let everyone else in and again he directs me to the pharmacy. I'm irritated now and really need to use the bathroom so I tell him that and he finally moves. After this I left and did not even buy anything I was so disgusted. I don't plan on going back to this or any Target.
