I was a bit disappointed in this location. I will begin by saying that staff was excellent. Struck up conversation with me, talked games, and offered helpful feedback. The store felt like a blast from the past, and harkened back to GameStop before the updates. Selection, at least for what I was interested in looking at, was somewhat limited. Prices were high. I paid more for pre-owned than I would for a new elsewhere, but I want to keep brick and mortar GameStop stores afloat. I came in here to trade in a game and buy a new one. When I went to trade in the game, the amount of services they try to push in you is insane, a little overwhelming, you can tell GameStop is trying to stay afloat anyway possible. The staff here is VERY awkward, somewhat friendly but extremely awkward. They issued me a gift card and then watched me struggle to swipe it to redeem it and then said take off the sticky part so you don't ruin our machine. not necessarily rude but again really awkward when you don't try to help....i won't go back to this location because this experience just turned me off to GameStop in general read more

Unbelievably positive experience with this GameStop. I have been here a few times and I actually go to this store versus the one in Preakness (which is closer) because the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I am traditionally not a fan of GameStop, bad experiences and policies over the years, but this GameStop has been a bit of a turn around for me. The associate Andrew is amazing, a very friendly person who genuinely wants to help you which dare I say is rare in of itself? Anyways, every time I have gone here he has been helpful, he is fast, and he knows what is doing. I don't feel a lot of pressure going here even if there are certain policies in place that they have to abide, and recent changes with GameStop AKA offering better trade in deals, have made shopping with them much more pleasant then in previous years. Overall I recommend this GameStop mainly because of the excellent staff. read more

Unfortunately, this store does not live up to the company's reputation. The store sells defective merchandise and when you come in to exchange it the manager will try to sell you used game CDs and charge you as if they're new. I purchased a $40 game thinking it was new for my son only to find out in the car that it was repackaged and they just put a piece of Scotch tape on the cover. When I confronted her about it she denied it was opened and said that all Xbox One game discs came with a tape closure. When in reality the other Xbox One game disc came with a security seal, so she bold-faced lied to me then tried to cover it up by saying it was a display copy. I asked her for a new one with the security seal and she wouldn't do it. Instead of giving my money back she gave me Xbox cash that I had to redeem online. It all started because a headset that we bought from the store was defective and I returned it 10 days later only to find out that they wouldn't give me my money back but instead give me another headset. I didn't want to take the chance of having it be defective again so I told her I would want a refund, she refused and offered me store credit. When my son found a game that he liked she swapped out a used disc and charged me as if it was brand new. It was very infuriating when I confronted her about it and she denied that anything was wrong according to her she did me a favor by giving me a credit for defective merchandise. I sincerely hope the district manager will read this post, and remove Meredith if that's her real name from her position. What bothered me most was that they pressed a $20 charge for insurance that was supposed to go into effect after the 30-day return policy and I was never refunded for this, even though I returned the defective product within 10 days and asked for it. It's no wonder the company is going downhill with people like her running the stores. Avoid this store as much as you can because it seems quite obvious they're motto is deception first. read more

This gamestop marks used games as NEW and sells them at full price. I used to go to gamestop regularly but after being ripped off this way on more than one occasion, I will not be trusting them again at this location or any other. If you find something here you like, you can get it cheaper and better condition online. read more
