The CDs are very fairly priced, even the newer ones, and if there is an album that you want that they do not have in-stock, they are more than happy to order it for you. I've had a few CDs I was considering buying, but wasn't sure what the music was like, so the owner would just put the music on in the store so I could preview prior to buying. He supported all local musicians and artists. I am sorry that the one other review posted here was from a bad experience. Chuk retired in 2015, so he probably wasn't around then. All I can say is that for over 40 years, The Mad Hatteur was about the only place in Fond du Lac where you could get concert tickets, rolling papers and the latest in vinyl. I used to own it and then I lost it during a move, and I've been looking for it ever since. I don't even know what I'd do with it if I did find it because I don't have a VCR anymore. But I guess it would just be nice to hold it in my hands after all these years. Anyway, Vintage Nutz did not have that classic Sonic Youth/Nirvana documentary. But they did have lots of vinyl, tapes, CDs, 8-tracks, toys, t-shirts and other nostalgic paraphernalia. It's a small store, but they have lots of stuff and it was busy on the day that I popped in.
