Do NOT Trust This Dealership - Under Investigation for Consumer Fraud…read more Avoid doing business with Colonial Hyundai in Downingtown I turned in my leased Santa Fe here to buy a new car. We negotiated to roll my $4,000 mileage overage into the new loan. Instead of doing it honestly, their finance department inflated the sale price of my new car by over $4,000 to bake in the cost, pocketed the financed money, and failed to pay Hyundai Finance. They then hid my turned-in lease vehicle for two months without returning it, resulting in several harassing phone calls from Hyundai finance asking where my car was. And they had it the whole time. The owner acknowledged they held the funds but failed to resolve it. Because of this contract manipulation and deceptive practices, I have officially filed a formal Consumer Fraud complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection. If you buy a car here, check your contract line by line, or better yet, go somewhere else.

Instead, I was sent a Lemon that had a plethora of issues. Not only was the CD not functioning properly, the computer programming was a mess. Their policy was "Returns Not Accepted". I contacted the dealer and they said to send it back to Denon for repair and I did so. When I received my CD player back not only was it not functioning properly but it had other issues that were not discovered and repaired. I had to get a refund by filing a dispute with Chase Bank to get a charge back. . .

Frustrating because instructions start to ensure your car has gas bc the tech may need to drive it to calibrate so...if my hilly neighborhood impacted the self described "wonky" app, then drive my car to a flatter place (which there is 200 feet away) 4/22 - finally fully repaired So subtract a star for corporate shipping and subtract a star for not finishing the calibration by driving to a flatter spot. Add back in a star because everyone was truly helpful and worked to reschedule appointments as soon as possible.

Didn't hear anything at all from them (except for text confirmation that it was on their schedule for that date / time frame) so I called at a little after 4:30 pm to see if they were still coming. Was advised by one rep that they were indeed still coming and she argued with me that they would not have promised any specific window because it depends on their other jobs, so I'd need to just keep waiting. Then another rep came online and advised me that "something came up" and I would need to be rescheduled. Ugh! As if that was not annyoing enough, I asked for a call back from the West Chester shop manager, only to be told I'd just need to call them (and guess what? Their number goes straight to the national customer service line anyway, so I'm right back to square one! The biggest insult was receiving a text message at aroudn 5 pm, telling me that my appointment had been rescheduled for the next morning, and that I would be taking my car in to their shop over in West Chester. Huh???! Who consulted with me on this? Do they think I do not work? Pretty ignorant of them to never reach out, then to just reschedule me and tell me I need to go to them at a certain day / time without even checking with me first! I am appalled at their customer service (or really, lack there of!) I do NOT recommend Safelite in West Chester PA. And as a small business owner myself, I ALWAYS give a business a chance to make things right first, before I would even consider writing a negative review. But these schmucks have had more than ample time to reach out to discuss this wth me, and haven't. They obviously do not care one bit. In hindsight, I should have read reviews on Google and Yelp first, before even trying to contact them. There are MULTIPLE reviews here stating the same things; they don't show, they damage vehicles, their communication is lacking to non-existant. All the same issues I have been experiencing with them. And the owner's response to other reviews? "Sorry for letting you down". That's it??? Seriously! Safelite West Chester owner: You're a cocky little ahole and your actions speak louder than your words by far! If you truly cared and were sorry, you'd do your best to make it right and CHANGE your ways. I hope you are forced to shut down sooner than later for your extreme lack of customer service. Corporate needs to step up their customer service and demand better of their franchise owners or kick you to the curb.

When the technician got there he was rude and grumpy. Now I get it was raining and there was snow on the ground, so I would let that alone go. But when he opened my hatchback trunk to get my spare some snow fell on his socket wrench heads and he dumped them out of the case to get the snow off. While he was putting his socket wrench heads back (he used his power tool to completely tighten the lug nuts down BTW, which you should never do) he shook one out and it flew out of his hand and hit me solidly in the ankle while I was standing nearby. I would normally not mind that either, it was an accident. HOWEVER, he pretended like nothing happened, didn't even acknowledge that he had hurt me. I had 3 other friends there to witness that he did see what had happened. He said nothing at all, finished up, and left. It's been 2 days now and my ankle is still swollen with a hard lump where it hit me. It still really hurts, and I'm getting a little concerned the it's more than just a bruise. I scheduled an appointment with a doctor tomorrow to see what damage was done. I don't think it's broken, but it might be a bone bruise. I wouldn't use this company ever again and I might have to take legal action if this gets costly to treat on my own. At least it was free through my insurance. Actually, I guess it cost me my foot's motor function, which is too steep a price if you ask me.

My…read morehusband hit a pot hole with his back tire and needed help to put a donut on so he could go to Sam's Club and get a new tire. Called at 2:00, was promised for 2:51, came @ 4:00. He arrived in a car like an Uber driver, didn't have right tools, couldn't get tire off, suggested we call for a tow. So Called GEICO again and they sent a tow truck from H & H Body Towing (arrived @ 5:30) and he had the right equipment to get the broken tire off and the donut on. By then it was too late to get the new tire put on. So it took all afternoon to get a job done that should have taken 20 minutes. This is very shoddy work and very disappointing for me as a customer.
