The prices are lower than the main stores in Vancouver and you can find some killer deals, if you shop discerningly like me. The only downside is, you need to make regular trips out here. A bit of a drag but it can be done. Are you really ready to up your game? From the movie Hitch: "With no guile and no game, there's no girl." Have game. Dress well. Groom well. Think Harvey Specter, but he's a level up. He is bespoke. This is coming in second. Your best friend is your tailor. Get to know him/her. Fit is king.

I was warmly greeted by Kathleen who promptly took on the task of finding me a new blue suit to replace my pre-pandemic suit that no longer fits me. She eyeballed me for size and was off to the races. I still don't know how she managed to be so accurate, but she managed to nail it on the first try. She showed me two suits to start and as I looked in the mirror after putting on the jackets for each suit, she was keeping watch of me while searching for other appropriate options based on my thoughts as I broke down what I liked about them. I was then escorted to the fitting rooms to also try on the pants. I was also provided with a shirt so that I could get a better sense of how it all came together. Amazingly, it was one of those first two that she had me try that I ultimately selected. It might have been the easiest suit purchase of my life. To put this in perspective, I have had full bespoke suits made for me locally and in Hong Kong. I've also bought off the rack suits from Dunn's (recommended) and Red Baker (recommended) and fake bespoke suits from Indochino (not recommended). My experience with Kathleen and Harry Rosen was only exceeded by my bespoke suit experiences. So there you have it. If you're looking for a new suit, head on over to this Outlet location for Harry Rosen. The prices are great and the service is top notch!

Store is pure crap…read more In the US, the Saks stores have awesome selection and has a lot variety and brands but for some reason these store in Canada thinks we are idiot and will buy anything. Target did the same thing they opened up in Canada and had crappy selection and high prices. This Saks he no selection, crappy brands names and some of the worst selection to choose from. It as though they shipped all the unsold crap to Canada the Americans won't buy and try to sell it up here. I think these American companies think Canadians are stupid and will buy anything. In NYC the Saks sells Hermes bags and Greer name brand stuff. In Canada they have no selection and looks like items from 3 years ago that no one in the Us will buy. Stop treating Canadian shopper like second hand shoppers.

Rude and unhelpful customer service. When I arrived at the store, there was still 10 minutes before…read morethey closed. The greeting I recieved was a cold and rushed "we're closing soon." Not off to a great start there, Saks. I then approached the nearest associate to help me find pants that fit me. I was then reminded for the second time that they were closing soon in the cold and rushed tone. After the associate helped me find some pants that might fit me, I was then hurriedly guided to the change rooms. While there, I found a pair of pants that I liked, so I asked the store manager if they could locate a bigger pair of those particular pants. She replied, "we're closed." Keep in mind this was at about 7:00:30 PM, 30 seconds after the official closing time on Sunday. A bit ridiculous, I'd say, to turn down a potential customer in such a rude and unhelpful manner. Value is an interesting proposition, Lulu is never cheap, but I do think they are pretty high quality. Usually I bridge this gap by shopping their outlets. Many items remain in the store for really long periods of time due to the high prices. Why not lower the prices, turn the items over to people who could use them and enjoy the profits on free-to-the-store donations?? We recently tried to donate a piece of furniture only to be told they don't have room, an enviable position to take for a store that relies on donations. We rarely, if ever, now find anything worth purchasing, and if we do the price is usually so high we refuse to buy it. Very sad to see this happen at our local store, one we used to enjoy supporting. Will not be donating to this store again, and recommend taking items to the Ladner thrift store where they are so happy to receive items and do price them at reasonable levels.

Living in a small town has its perks…read more This little boutique located in a cute corner is a gem. They carry some of the same brands you will find at Aritzia, but the main difference is the service. Because the business space is small, the girls are always around to help you. It's not like trying to wave a taxi in busy New York City. Again, because the store is quite small they only have 1 size of each size for a garment of clothing, which is good in the sense that only 3-4 other people will have the same article as you do. However, I wear pretty small sizes (24-25 for jeans and xs-s for tops) so it's pretty hard to find my sizes. However, they are willing to order a size for you, which is great! Another thing, is that the prices are a bit cheaper than what you see at Aritzia which makes my visa quite happy.
