The few times that I have been here it has been very busy. The place can get to be a bit messy. The lines to pay are very long. You have to have patience to shop here. Most of their sales items are mostly big sizes. If you take your time to really hunt you may be able to find sales items in smaller sizes. It's really a hit or miss when shopping here. I went there on a Sunday evening in search of some light blue jeans. It was crowded as it's the holidays, but not really that bad. When I couldn't find my size, an employee went to the back to find it for me. And he did in fact have my size! Kudos! I then went to the dressing room to find that all the doors were locked. As I looked around confused, another employee walked up to me and told me they were all locked because it was 7 PM and the store was closing. I said, "Can't I just try them on? You're going to lose a sale." His response was, "It doesn't matter. Everyone has to go to the front to make their final purchase." WHAT?! It would have taken me 2 minutes! I curtly walked away and handed the jeans back to the nice employee who helped me, telling him I was refused access to try on ONE pair of pants. To his credit he called out for me as I left the store in a huff, but to no avail. I kept walking...I was in no mood to give them my money. read more

Around 6pm 9/29/19 This place is the absolute worst. Prices are missing or unclear or incorrect -one price on the rack and a higher price at the register. The staff is fully incompetent. I was waiting on line with 7 people in front of me. Three registers open but the line is not moving. More people getting on line. Then another employee arrives, and opens another register. Great, right? No, because two of the other registers close and the employees just walk away, leaving only two registers open, fewer than before, as the line grows longer. The staff member at the register all the way at the end nearest to the door, the one that just opened, gets into a screaming fight with the customer in front of her, and then, in the middle of this dispute, takes a return from a woman who has just walked in, who has not been waiting on line(!) By now there are about 15 people on line. A complete mess, complete incompetence. The employee in the screaming fight with the customer is still doing the return for the woman who just arrived, and is now being yelled at by the next person in line, for letting someone cut the line. Just chaos and incompetence. The man with the dispute keeps asking to speak to the manager and the employee is yelling at him - yelling at a customer! - that she will not get the manager for him. And of course the line is not moving. This place needs to be shut down. Very disrespectful to customers. It's no wonder the Gap is failing and sliding towards bankruptcy; that's what they deserve. read more

As you enter it seems large for a factory store in Queens but this store just didn't have a great selection. It was a disappointment as I walked around and couldn't find one damn thing that I would like to purchase. It was a total miss of a shopping trip and it's a factory store so they always have great sales. I totally missed out. I take a star off since I was upset that I didn't get a damn thing. I will return and hope I'm able to buy something. PS this store gets busy and they also don't have the nagging customer service representatives walking around bugging you. The guy who is at the door in Gap located on 82nd St, treats people in a very rude way, I felt that I was in a McDonalds. Because this is not Manhattan it does not mean that people do not deserve to be treated with respect. Too bad for a store like this read more

Alright store, since it's an outlet and many things are on discount and cheaper than the regular store items, there's usually a few people there. Usually not too long of a line but always do have a line. Not very many options except for very casual look. Alright quality, alright service. Pretty convenient with the 7 train at walking distance. There's the adult and baby's sections. read more

This gap was very crowded. Oh and I did see the man standing at the door staring at everybody. I went to this gap factory to make an exchange, and soon as I reached the cashier at the register tells me I can't make an exchange or a return because the computers are down. What the heck? This store always has good deals. The only complain I have is that this store is always packed and it gets crowded. You can barley move and people will be rude. The lines are very long if it's a busy day. The cashiers are very nice and helpful. read more

My mother visited this store and it was the worst customer service she received. She wanted to exchange a jacket and my mom doesn't speak English well. The associate at the counter threw the jacket she wanted to exchange and they threw the jacket fell on the floor. People on the line noticed and knew right away this was wrong. The manager never did anything and another associate told my mother that the manager didn't speak English so there was no way to help her. Nevertheless we called Corporate and were waiting for a reply. I think that everyone should be aware of the treatment that they have towards their customers. read more

Disgusting place; just leave it at that. The manager TIM , useless. Instead of hearing in detail a customers version of what was an altercation CAUSED BY ONE OF HIS EMPLOYEES, he decided to ignore the situation and move on from it. The African American lady by the cash register? TRASH. Gap employees are usually nice and helpful. But unfortunately this Gap has a bunch of lazy people who lack professionalism and obviously have no good work ethics. I understand some people might have a bad day but this isn't the first time this lady behind the cash register is DISGUSTING. Worst Gap factory ever. The store is good; however, the customer service is very bad. Some of the people who work there are very lazy. They give you a bad attitude when you ask them a question. The supervisor there is very rude too. She doesn't care about the customers. I had a really bad experience the other day. It was my first time shopping there and I will never go back again.
