Full disclosure, when this place was at 50 Penn, I couldn't get a makeup girl to sell me a $300 bottle of perfume if my life depended on it. I was not a fan. But since they've moved ... and truly since they've hired some people who are passionate about fashion ... I'm in this joint as much as I can possibly afford it. Special occasion shoes or needing some serious retail therapy - get with Betsy in shoes and she'll take care of all your needs on the ground floor. I also love that this department store is flip-flopped from every other shop in this aspect: cosmetics is upstairs so you don't have to walk through perfume land to get to the sportswear. I found two pairs of shorts, two tops, and a maxi dress, and a bra, plus a silver necklace and a wonderful broach. The items were mostly from well known higher end brands. Friday evening was my first and my last time visiting this store…read more I felt a little bit like Pretty Woman, except that I didn't actually find anything I wanted to buy in the store. I had been following them on social media for a little while, and I was eager to look for a special occasion dress. Unfortunately, the experience was less than pleasing. When my mother and I walked into the store, we saw 2 employees (one of them was their store model) at the register. There was 1 (one) other customer in the store. Both of the employees looked at my mother and I, didn't say a word or even smile. I kept expecting them to say hello or greet us while we walked around. Not one single word was spoken to us. I'm a huge advocate for small businesses/local businesses in OKC. I'm proud to shop local as often as possible and I'm more than happy to advertise for local businesses that I'm impressed with. However, when I enter a small store that is not busy at all, and the employees do not greet me OR say goodbye/thank you as I'm leaving, I feel that it shows poor customer service and a lack in common courtesy.
