She assumed my frustration was due to switching to a new register- it wasn't. It was the lack of attention from both cashiers about how quickly the line was building and adapting, aka doing your best to get people in and out. Now I don't know if this was the best they could do or if they were new but this whole experience could have been better. Instead the two cashiers chitchatted about everything under the sun, slowly typed in peoples' emails, slowly asked about signing up for a card, slowly took the tags off, and slowly packed everything into the bag. This is why Sierra has a ton of online orders- too slow when you come into the store which is unfortunate because the store has good stuff. Dear Sierra, please train cashiers to move quickly when lines are long and more importantly, having the awareness to notice that.
