The most amazing beet salad mushroom farro eggplant salad I have ever had. Hold it the best farro salad I've ever had by far

Really sweet spot in San Miguel. Amazing food, gorgeous interior and wonderful collection of artisan pieces. Absolutely worth visiting. Try the Pan de Elote and embrace a mindful explosion of flavor packed with love.

They say don't leave San Miguel without trying Garambullo a small bright and airy casual restaurant for a relaxed breakfast or cheap lunch. The menu is small and the service was friendly. We got a couple dishes to share and a bowl of soup, the food was pretty solid, unfortunately I don't remember what the names of the dishes were except for the first photo which is "Favorito de Caren" yeah, NO not Karen! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/garambullo-san-miguel-de-allende-2?select=EM4xBvMDJFANUu9oZ2WUfQ https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/garambullo-san-miguel-de-allende-2?select=1-A40s40mf3lFX9Nztg5ow https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/garambullo-san-miguel-de-allende-2?select=cD-rH540QYdLkAoAiKS-9A

Airy, bright interior, friendly staff, and healthy-tasting food. Ingredients are fresh and the flavors work well together, but there were a few dishes where I wished for a bit more richness or flavor. That said, it was a welcome contrast from all of the heavy Mexican food I'd been eating! Ask for a side of salsa and they'll give you some chipotle/adobo sauce. The coffee was yummy, too.

    Beautiful outdoor area

Wonderful ambiance and service and the corn cake was outstanding. My almond milk latte was okay--the espresso was a tad bitter. Love love love the open air environment and the cats who call it home. So charming.

The don't have decaf espresso, which seems to be standard in SMA, so instead I asked for a Rooibos Tea Latte, and it's delicious. Also tried a slice of the corn cake, and it's great. They have a lovely, quiet, shaded patio, there are cats in residence, and it would be the perfect place to come do some work.

I had lunch this afternoon and wow! The orange juice was incredible and then the chilaquiles with chicken. I ordered more food to go. Will be going tomorrow morning for breakfast

Food is excellent! Small menu but if you can find something you like its awesome. I had the pear, brie and pesto sandwich and my husband the the roast beef, caramelized onion and blue cheese sandwich. Both were delicious. Highly recommend especially if you are shopping in the area. Great atmosphere too.

    Great Coffee!

Walking down Animas Street, our ears heard the most pleasant sound coming from Animas #46 building; we were pleasantly surprised to see Garambullo! It is a beautiful place; very cozy, warm and inviting. The owner welcomed us with a smile. I have a food allergy and she was very kind in offering to cook me something 'off the menu' to accommodate my allergy; the dish she created for me was delicious, full of flavor and fresh (grilled veggies and goat cheese). My husband had poached eggs with napolitos (cactus), equally as yummy. Served with warm bread. The restaurant offers Breakfast & Lunch - Fresh Breads - Bagel & Lox - Baked Goods - Hot Breakfast (including many egg dishes) - Homemade Granola - Lunch (including sandwiches) We will definitely be back. This place is great!

Good food but service was very poor. It took 45 minutes to start serving our party of 5. Brought wrong plate and forgot to make another. Do not recommend.

A beautiful place to eat with exceptional coffee. Breakfast was enough and the fruit fresh. Definitely would recommend for the setting alone!

    Amazing food!!!

We had The BEST lunch here at this amazing resto just south of the Artisans Mercado. Everything was so fresh and tasty and healthy. We had lentil salad, fresh baked hot bread and jugo Verde a delicious health drink. We will be back.

Conveniently located on the cobblestoned artery between our hotel and Zona Centro's social hub, Jardin Allende, this three-floor cafe was compact but surprisingly relaxing given the constrained layout of the seating. The cafe's name translates appropriately to "good aromas" since the roasted beans wafted throughout the space. On our first visit, we arrived in the middle of the afternoon and treated ourselves to the MX$85 Affogato, a nice combo of vanilla gelato and an espresso shot (Photo 10). We came back the following morning when the place was literally percolating with customers. This time we shared a table on the rooftop. What I appreciated was how the owner had no compunction about telling laptoppers not to monopolize tables clearly set up for multiple people. This time we had true beverages with their own twists. I had the MX$60 Cococcino, a cappuccino with a touch of coconut oil, and Jamie went for the MX$70 Iced Buzz Latte with honey and a double espresso shot (Photo 9). Both perfectly satisfied because beyond the quality of the beans, we saw the exacting process they followed in their execution. It was a smooth brew in a chill space that was obviously attracting a lot of expats. I wish we had more time for a third visit. I've been a coffee nerd for a few decades and a home roaster for about 2 years. TL/DR: I love this place. More detailed write-up: Staff: Super friendly and did their best to accommodate my poor Spanish skills. Coffee: All of their beans come from 3 regions in Mexico and you can get your drinks made from single-origin medium roasts or a blend. There's also a darker "robusto" roast if you're into that. Over the course of my week in town, I had drinks made with everything except the decaf. All of the roasting is done in-house on a beautiful, locally-made roaster. From a flavor standpoint, I found something to appreciate in each drink I had, and the quality level was up there with some of my favorite spots in my hometown of Portland, Oregon. The one area where I saw room for improvement was in the realm of latte art. Some of the guys had better skills than others, but in the grand scheme of things, I'm there to drink my coffee, not look at it. Processes: This part's pretty cool, and you don't see it very often. Once you select your bean, you can choose from a range of processes, including aeropress, pour over, espresso machine, and a few others. It's a nice way to explore the different aspects of a particular bean or roast. Crowd pleasers: If you've got someone in the group that's not a coffee purist, their mocha made my wife happier than I'd care to admit ; ) Get over there. Drink coffee.

I have gotten my coffee and pastries and hung-out hassle free for at least an hour the last few days. I have been staying at my friend's hacienda literally across the street so this place was incredibly convenient. Today at around 935, I came in to get my coffee and banana bread, and was also hoping to sit down and read the news. I only had a few more hours left before heading to the airport to fly back home to Chicago and was determined to enjoy every last minute I can squeeze in before flying back to reality. So imagine my disbelief when I placed my order and I was told I can only get it to go and that I was not allowed to stay because they are closed for maintenance. I told the server/cashier well how come everyone is still here enjoying their drink/food/gossip, and I was being told to leave? I even pointed out that he had just set two beautiful lattes down at the table of these two ladies who were just settling in to their table (the same one I had actually wanted to sit at.) The server insisted everyone was done. And that I have to leave. I checked their hours on help and it said they're open until 6pm. I didn't want to make a scene so I left but I told my host about it. He's friends with the owner and he was shocked at the way I was treated. For the record, I was the only non-white person inside the cafe. So, never again. And to future customers, go at your own risk. Unless you're white. Then you can move in.

The coffee was excellent--not only was the presentation beautiful, but it tasted just as good. We ordered the birria sandwich and the tandoori grilled cheese. The birria was delicious and easily the better of the two. The tandoori grilled cheese, however, didn't quite work for me. They used fresh mint in the filling, and once cooked, it wilted and gave the sandwich an off flavor. I liked the idea behind it, but I think the recipe could be tweaked to let the ingredients complement each other better. Service was friendly, although a little slow, probably because the staff are covering multiple floors. The rooftop views were a nice bonus and made the experience even more enjoyable. It did pour heavily so they had to close parts of the rooftop which get wet easily. Overall, it's a good spot for brunch or lunch, especially if you're in the mood for great coffee and a relaxed atmosphere.
