In the past week, I have used these guys twice. I initially needed to find a company that could haul away trash from a 5 story townhouse on the Upper East Side. Lots of miscellaneous things, including multiple mattresses, heavy wooden tables, couches, etc. I needed a professional and affordable company that could show up the next day. This wasn't my home, this was an asset that I manage for work. It was imperative for me to get this done right because I had people to answer to. Not all of the furniture fit thru the doors, so these guys had to take a lot of it apart. They worked quickly, were super friendly, and the price was truly a deal!!! I was impressed with how careful they were removing things. It is so easy to mess up floors, walls, etc if things are removed carelessly. By the time they were done, their entire truck was jam packed (see pic). These guys treat the project as if their working in their own homes, which is why I hired them a second time to come clean out my apartment in Brooklyn as I was moving. I needed a heavy bed frame thrown out, a 2 piece couch, 2 glass patio tables, 2 dressers, a small table, along with miscellaneous trash in a few garbage bags. Trust me, it is easier to hire someone to do this instead of trying to coordinate throwing all of this out via street trash. Hauling it down is hard, breaking it up is even worse, but making sure santitation takes everything and avoiding tickets is close to impossible. Use these guys, you will not regret it! read more

Incredibly unprofessional. I sent an email requesting a quote the week prior to my move with an itemization of what needed to be removed and noting the furniture was in a 3rd story walk-up. Two movers showed up, complained about parking, came upstairs to to survey the furniture and then left. I received a text message 10 minutes later that they wont be coming back. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered with a moving company and felt forced to have to leave this review. Quick and professional communication, was able to accommodate an emergency next-day mattress/bed pick-up with no issues. The guys who came to remove the items were also very professional and friendly. They just left and I picked my computer right up to do write this. I sent a request for a quote - we needed our three seater couch removed and predicted it would have to be maneuvered up some stairs and through a neighbor's apartment or just broken apart (it was old and stained and probably not worth donating). He texted me the quote for a 1 story walk up in Park Slope - $210 including tax (via paypal), and came within about 45 mins. I have a big furniture that I have to remove before the end of my lease which is two days away, so I have to schedule a junk removal service immediately. After I sent several quote requests on Yelp by including the dimension and a picture of my furniture, I got a very fast response from Nick with one of the lowest price. After a few text follow-ups, we scheduled the service to the next day. My mother's home was similar to a hoarding situation. The conditions were very bad. Nick and his helper came in, and they cleared out a huge number of items, (15 yards) some quite heavy, such as a refrigerator, projection TV, and other large, heavy and very dirty furnishings. They were on time, respectful, polite, and very efficient. They never made a comment on the conditions. Pricing was quite reasonable. We called them back to clear her backyard, and experienced the same great service. They even had to chop an old, rusty BBQ free, to remove it.
