I did not hire this company. However, I have a serious complaint. I live in a small community called Broad Channel, in Queens, NY. A house around the corner from me was abandoned. It is now being gutted for a complete renovation. The contractor hired Bestway Carting. They had a 40 yard dumpster on the street for a week. This morning at 3:15am they decided to pick up the dumpster. I can't imagine the decision making that goes into this. 3am in the middle of the night, making so much noise that the entire neighborhood is talking about this. Very, very inconsiderate. I would never hire these people. Obviously, money comes before anything. read more

Mike is the dispatcher at Bestway Carting, and he is great. I was having an ongoing problem in my building because of the truck coming way too early in the mornings. My building has a strange design where the loading dock for trucks is directly next to resident windows (?!?), so some of us on the low floors were getting woken up as early as 7am by the very loud incinerator (?) and beeping sounds from the truck. I'd been going to sleep with both earbuds and construction earmuffs, also with pillows around each ear, and I was still getting woken up. I was getting sick from sleep deprivation and the stress of anticipating getting woken up by very loud sounds twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. I and other residents had been complaining to the concierges in the building for a long time, but it turns out that the people at Bestway Carting never heard about these from our building since our building had never communicated to them. I finally called the number on the side of their truck and talked to Ralph who said he'd talk to Mike, the dispatcher. They first moved up their arrival times from around 7am to around 8am since it is quiet hours in my building from 8am to 10pm. We were still wondering if they could arrive even later, since so many of us are working from home now and stay up later and wake up later. A couple of times, they came at 8:30, which was a little better. Last week, they came at 8:10, which was still very early. However, today, they came at around 9:20 am which has prompted me to write this 5-star review. I know this sounds silly, but this really changed my life today. I was not woken up prematurely, and by the time they came, I was more mentally ready for the sound. Today ended up being SUCH a stress-free morning since they came at a more reasonable time (!!!), and it set me up for a stress-free, amazing day. Totally the opposite of the terrible Mondays and Fridays I'd been having previously due to getting woken up so early by the truck! I've been miserable living in my apartment each Monday and Friday because of the sounds. And today, I did not wake up with a sore throat or other cold symptoms due to having gotten enough sleep, and I was so focused and productive at work. I'm so thankful to the dispatcher Mike and Ralph and Harry that they made this happen. They also came at 9:30am a couple of weeks ago when there was a fire in my building the night before, probably because there were a lot of trucks here earlier than that bringing supplies, and that made my life so much less stressful. I really hope that Mike will keep on making sure the truck does not arrive too early and that it'll keep arriving at around 9:30am. I know that Ralph was trying, as well, which I appreciate. The 9:20am arrival today orchestrated by Mike after I spoke to him personally the week after Easter really, really, really improved my life today. I want to give a shoutout to the awesome dispatcher Mike, who even called me personally to find out what was going on: Thank you! read more

Worst Carting! I hired them because my tenants refuse to recycle or bag their trash. After getting repeated tickets I decided to have a carting company save me the agro of dealing with the tenants and sanitation dept. For $200. a month you can expect someone who is unreliable pretty much like the sanitation dept. Despite having been paid they did not pick up the trash. When I emailed the manager Micheal Tuchi informing him that it was 10:30pm and it still wasn't done I never heard back from him. And did I mention this is 2 weeks worth of trash because of the snow! read more

I would never use again. They where the only ones available to deliver a container on the day that I needed it and they overcharged me. Then to make matters worse they picked it up before I was finished and said there is a max of 5 days. DO NOT USE!!!! read more
